I have been using this product for several years and never without it. I used to tan in the sun, but since I am 62 years old, my skin has shown it. So, using this, so I will not look so white has helped. Be sure and exfoliate once a week, or every hidden place on the skin will appear. This product seems to do all that it is advertised.The only problem is it is difficult to work into the skin,leaving a whiteish/pinkish hue. If I use too much on my face, I can look zombiefied. I am getting used to working with smaller amounts so as not to get whited out.

Unlike other physical sunscreens I've noticed minimal whitish cast that blends in easily and becomes unnoticeable after a few minutes of wearing.

I ordered this hoping to find a replacement for the "By Terry" brand of suncream/foundation.As I very much like the original Supergoop, I thought this might be as elegant a suncream.The color is not sheer enough for me.It gets better as it warms on your skin but doesn't strike the right balance between coverage and that sheer luminous quality of the "By Terry" product.
The product seems to do the job as for UVA; however, the tinted colors tend to have an un-natural color to them no matter how you try to darken or lighten them (with the enclosed darken and lighten tint). You will still need a natural color foundation on top to look natural.
I also used this for a trip to belize.I think the sunblock worked fine but the bug repellant did not work at all.I returned from my trip absolutely covered in bug bites.Plus, this smells atrociously sweet.And it did not close properly.I had to wrap it in ziploc bags and it would still manage to spill everywhere. I've tried quite a few sun blocks for my scalp and although none are perfect, this is the best I've found so far. Someone mentioned it felt like hair spray. I've seen a little of this effect, but it doesn't last. The Scalp Shield is not oily, and it doesn't smell. Too many of the products out there have a fragrance, which is about that last thing I need to spray on the top of my head. It does a good job of preventing sunburn, without being obvious. I would reccomend this for all balding men.
