It goes on pretty well and does not leave a bad overly white film or dry up and leave patches on the face. It has 20% Zinc that they say is non-nano. If you want a sunscreen that is not overly greasy and not overly drying or too whitening this seems like a nice one. It is one of very few natural sunscreens that you can use on its own without first having to put oil on your face or having to put a skin color tint/powder on your face to cover white. It spreads okay and does not force you to rub so hard like other ones. You of course have to spread it well around but you do not have to be as forceful as you do with other natural sunscreens that really make you rub your face to get the white cast out.
This Sunscreen comes labeled as either a Sport or Kids Version...both have the same exact ingredients listing.

Side note: If you purchase it on Amazon be aware that it should not cost you more than $15-$16, if they charge you more they are ripping you off. I personally would wait until you can buy this on Amazon with free shipping so that your total cost would not be more than $15 or $16. But it is up to you.I use this sunscreen for my 10 month old, we have been using this on him since he was about 6 months old. I discovered this product while searching for non-nano particle/non-mineral based sunscreen (Please review the Environmental Working Group 2011 Sunscreen report for a comprehensive review of sunscreen & sunscreen safety ). This is the only sunscreen that I use for my little one, and it works great! There is no scent, & it is not super-thick nor is it runny & messy, the consistancy is just right. It rubs in easily and doesn't leave white streaks. As for performance, so far so good, no sunburns! It is VERY important, as with any sunscreen to reapply at least every 2 hours, sooner if water or persperation is involved. This is not the fault of the product, this is common sense. Another plus, the majority of the ingredients are organic, GF sensitive safe, & ocean-safe. Yes, this sunscreen is more expensive than any old sunscreen off the shelf, but once you read the report from the Environmental Working Group I am certain you will understand the phrase "you get what you pay for". One tube so far has lasted 4 months plus, but to be fair I do not have my child out in the sun for hours every single day, so usage will vary. I will absolutely pay extra for sunscreen that is verified to protect against UVA AND UVB as well as sunscreen that is sans nasty agents such as oxybenzone and retinyl palmitate.

Used this product at the beach and it worked great, had a pleasant smell, lasted for hours, and did the job. I liked that it was environmentally friendly, as that is hard to find in sunscreens.I used the Elemental Herbs sunscreen for my kids when we went down to the beach last week. They loved it and it kept them protected without any sunburns!
