Sun Bum Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion

Ordered this sunscreen for a cruise we were taking this spring. This sunscreen has an amazing feel to it. Non-greasy and non-runny and super absorb-able. It smells AMAZING too (like coconuts). It worked great...I am red headed and VERY fair and I did not get burnt AT ALL. I even had people stop me and ask me on my cruise...what sunscreen are YOU using...cause it really works! Laid out all day and did not get burnt! I highly recommend this product. My only problem I have had with it is that the top of the bottle does not close well...it leaked over some of my stuff in my beach bag which kind of sucked. Hopefully it was just a case of one bad bottle.

My husband and I had purchased this sunscreen last year and used it while on vacation. We loved it so much but had to leave it behind due to liquid restrictions on carryons. We had forgotten about it until this summer and saw that Amazon was selling it.

What I like about it:

-smells great; like coconut but not overpowering

-thick but rubs in well

-even the spf 15 seems to work better than the cheaper spf 30s in other brands; I've never gotten burnt with this sunscreen and that's saying a lot since I'm quite fair skinned

-it just feels like a good quality sunscreen!

What I don't:

-because it is thick, I don't think it goes quite as far as other sunscreens, however, it could be argued that its more effective with the same volume

-somehow the cap let some of the sunscreen out of the top when it was closed...so don't let it lay sideways (or without a bag around it in a suitcase for that matter!)

Overall, this and the Neutrogena dry touch are my favorite sunscreens. I will definitely continue to buy the Sun Bum.

We recently ordered this sunblock and took it with us on a trip to Florida. We are very picky about what we use as our daughter has very sensitive skin and this product proved to be one we all could use without a problem. It provided great coverage, no sun burns! Not only does is smell AMAZING (immediately transports you to a tropical place), it goes on smooth and feels great. And the best part, the monkey on the packaging is genius. Our daughter is a young teenager and the use of the monkey in the branding made it "cool" for her to want to protect her skin. We also ordered the face stick and will review that separately, but wanted to comment here too that it goes great with the lotion.
