My lips are prone to getting sunburned and blistering.I have used Heprecin L as a preventative and sunscreen for years, and it is a great product.I found myself at the beach for two weeks and could not find my Herpecin L.I could not find the product at first when we arrived, so I looked for an alternative.Based on warnings I had read I looked for products that did not contain Vitamin A based ingredients.Ocean Potion Lip 45 seemed good in this regard.The label says it is "FOR YEAR ROUND USE", so I thought it would be safe to apply it every 2 or 3 hours throughout the day just as I do with Herpecin L.Toward the end of vacation the inside of my lips and part of my mouth became raw and sensitive to many foods.I didn't connect the dots at first, but I eventually suspected the sunscreen when I noticed the symptoms worsened within and hour of re-applying.I found some Herpecin L and started using it.Guess what?The irritation is going away.Maybe I am unique, but I am not the sort who typically has skin reactions, so I thought I would look to see if others had the same issues and post a review of my experience.
