This light foundation/moisturizer/sunscreen is goes on smoothly and feels very light on my face. I am going to order the medium tint for the summer, as I gradually get more color in my skin. The product is unscented, does not cause me any allergy problems and contains safe, healthful ingredients.
This review is for Clarins Super Restorative Tinted Cream (SPF 20, #20 Sand) I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the ridiculous price, however, this vendor offered a pretty good discount. I usually prefer tinted-moisturizers to regular foundations, in my opinion foundations can be aging, I'm 48 and the goal is too look younger not older. This does an outstanding job of reducing the appearance of my fine lines and wrinkles. It really does give me a flawless complexion, granted I don't have many issues with my skin tone. I like the consistency better than others I've tried, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Olay and Paula's Choice.

I need to wear at least an SPF 40 sunblock every day because last year (at age 36) I already had a precancerous spot burned off my face (and there are several more well on the way to that end). I never tanned, never "laid out" or did any of that other nonsense that full-blooded Irish folks have no business doing. Last year I wore Neutrogena SPF 90 for faces sunblock all winter, spring & summer. While it certainly worked, it felt heavy and it made me sweat even when I applied mineral powder make-up after applying the sunblock. Then the product would end up melting and I'd eventually get it in my mouth; GROSS. Beyond that, I'd get the occasional breakout from it. This PCA Skin stuff is a dream compared to the Neutrogena. The PCA goes on very light and cool feeling and absorbs quickly. It has no sunblock smell either, instead, it smells like a nice light facial moisturizer. It protects very well and it doesn't cause me to sweat nor does it "melt" and run or cause breakouts (and my skin is prone to breakouts even in my late 30's). I'm thrilled with this product and will try to convert all my pasty white Irish relatives as well. I wish they made bigger bottles because I go through it fairly quickly when applying to my face, ears, neck and exposed upper chest area on a daily basis. I cannot say enough good about this product. Just wish it was more widely available in stores and the price could be a little better. For how thrilled I am with this product I'm thanking my lucky charms and will gladly pay the PCA piper what they ask.

I purchased this foundation because it was rated as having fewer harmfull chemicals than most make up these days.I covers really well but is a bit darker than it looks in the photo.Works well during the summer when I'm a bit tan.

Personally, I'm very particular about what goes on my face! If it has any kind of odor or perfume, bad texture, inadequate UVA/UVB protection, wrong color, turns orange or peach on my Celtic skin ...... well ladies, you get the idea, I toss it out if I don't like it. This is an interesting product -a tinted full spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30, which the company calls a "primer," meant to be used under their mineral face powder -but trust me, that's not necessary.

I have been using this product for only a week and it has already lightened my scars and evened out the raised scars. I put it on twice a day. The only bad thing about this product is it says you have to rub the cream in for 2-3 minutes. I haven't done that, I just rub until it is gone, but I'm not sure if I am making it less effective. I can't rub them all in for 2 minutes because I have several scars, I'd be there forever. These days it's truly amazing to find a product that ACTUALLY works! After so much researching and many failed attempts to reduce the redness and improve the texture of my scar, I wanted to try ScarZone. First, the price is so much cheaper than other scar diminishing products, yet I have read so many reviews about the other products and how they just have mineral oil and petroleum. ScarZone actually has silicon which is vital to help heal a scar. I had a horribly red-purple bumpy ring around my belly piercing after snagging it really badly. The scar did not look ANY better after months of other scar creams, silicon gels, and pure Vitamin E. After the first day I could tell the scar was much less red and bumpy! It's been about a week and I religiously get my ScarZone 2 or more times a day. I bought the 5 oz jar because hoping it would work, I know that 5 oz's would be enough for a very, very long time. The awful purple, protruding ring that was ruining the look of my belly piercing is now completely flat and getting closer and closer to my natural skin tone.
