Ok, so of course i was skeptical. but this product is awesome. I have oily, acne-prone skin, so finding sunscreens that don't make me look like an oil slick in 15 min after application, is quite difficult. This product has worked so well for me. after cleansing and applying serum or oil-free matte moisturizer, i wait five minutes then apply this sunscreen. NO OILINESS. I can apply my make up after about 5-8 minutes and I'm ready to go!! This stuff works!! It is pricey but when you have tried as many products as i have, it's worth it when you find one that works. Plus, think about how long this tube will last you..... you only use a teeny-tiney amount each time :)

Once I decided to whiten my skin I began researching the process of skin whitening and the best CHEAP products that you can use to do so.The most important thing I discovered is that it is common for skin whitening products to contain Mercury which can cause many serious health problems such as nerve damage and kidney damage.Another harmful substance commonly found in these products is hydroquinone.It is considered to be a carcinogen and its use in over-the-counter products has been banned by the FDA.

Luckily through my internet research I discovered that this product has been tested and does NOT contain any Mercury.This pagecontains a PDF of research & testing done on Mexican skin whitening products. (You can see the charted test results on page 4 of the PDF.)

Perlop claims on their website that their Concha Nacar cream does not contain any hydroquinone.I have chosen to believe this because the product contains various natural skin lightening agents, such as oyster shell, lemon juice, bees wax, honey, seaweed, volcanic clay and lanolin.They seem to be quite proud of their use of all-natural ingredients.Also, the whitening process of this product is rather slow, which is another indication that it does not contain hydroquinone.Hydroquinone is known (and desired) for its fast results.

ANYWAYS, here is my actual review on the product, now that you know it is safe to use on your body.

First of all, this is a product that you will be using over an extended period of time, therefore you will need more than one container.If you use it every single day on your face and neck, one container should last you about 10-14 days.This is the absolute best deal I could find on both Amazon and eBay.The total (including shipping) was $26.24, so each individual unit cost me only $4.38!! I have yet to find a better deal.Shipping time was not ideal; I placed my order on Saturday June 30th and it was not shipped until Friday July 6th.Not hugely important, but still something I think needs improvement. This is actually not a 'face cream' as one might think, it is actually a face mask that is quite viscous and chunky.Using it as a face cream is virtually impossible.You leave it on your skin for 30-60 minutes each day (I recommend the full 60).I do not recommend leaving it on longer than 80 minutes max.I left it on for 2 hours once and the cream had dried up a litte, and there were tiny holes in the mask above each of my pores like they were suffocating and trying to breathe.. it was really weird.. and creepy looking...I also noticed that a lot of my pores were clogged with gunk after I had washed off the mask.Just leave it on for 1 hour, that is plenty of time especially if you use it every day.If you leave it on any longer it will clog your pores.

I recommend using this product along with Likas Papaya Skin Whitening Soap (which I also recommend buying in bulk as you need to use it for a long period of time to get results).This is another *CHEAP* all-natural product that I have found through internet research to not contain harmful substances.I have been using the Likas soap multiple times on my face & neck every day (for 18 days now) along with daily use of the Concha Nacar de Perlop mask (for 11 days now).. I have noticed some results.. it is not dramatic but my skin is whiter.I have been using just the Likas soap on my arms almost every day since July 2nd, I cannot say that I have noticed any lightening.But, I am still on my first bar, this is the very beginning of the process.You just have to be patient and happy with the fact that you are using the safest, cheapest products on the market.

I was skeptical, like I am for most "moisturizing" hair products, but this spray is great. I use it with my Chi silk infusion and my normally frizzy, dry, wavy hair is soft and bouncy. It doesn't get sticky or crunchy. I love that if my hair gets a little dry the next day I can just spritz some more on and my hair is soft again. I love love this product! I alternate between using this and Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil face wash (if I have a breakout) but it is a dynamic duo. I've done them all, the expensive, the cheap, foam, the gels, everythingbut I love this product. I have combination skin that freaks out with everything. Extremely sensitive, but so dry on my cheeks, extra oily t zone, ectthis product makes me feel actually clean but still soft and not stripped. You can use it dry without wetting your face too. It also makes an amazing makeup remover. HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has tried them all.

I'm in love with how my skin feels after applying this foundation. It's soft and silky and it doesn't feel heavy at all. The coverage isn't spectacular, I'd say it's on the light side of a medium coverage foundation, but the color works really well for me. I was surprised when I swatched it onto my hand to find that there is no yellow, pink or orange undertone to this at all (which is rare), but instead it has a kind of brownish undertone that works really well to even skin tones out (assuming you don't have a ton of discoloration). The staying power is pretty great considering it's a cream foundation. I find the application a bit annoying, as I do with all cream foundations, which is unfortunate because I really do like them best. I actually tend to use this more as a concealer and for touch ups than anything else. Like I said, it doesn't have excellent coverage so it's not the best concealer, but it generally does the job for what I need it for.

I absolutely LOVE this product, but I was unable to find it in the stores lately. So I'm really glad I found it on Amazon. I ordered 4 compacts so it will last a little while. I hate when I start loving a certain product and the company stops selling it.

I received the product quickly, and the packaging was great. My only minor complaint is that one compact appeared to have a sticker (maybe a price tag) removed. So there were smudges that made it look a little old or used. However, the product was unopened, so this was not really a big deal.

I like that it includes organic certified natural plant extracts, but that doesn't make it "natural"; could I put green tea in cool whip and call it "natural"? Nope. So why call something loaded with synthetic compounds "natural"? Among the many, octocrylene produces free radicals and homosalate is a hormone disrupter which forms toxic metabolites. Yes, it DOES have some nasty chemicals, but to its credit certainly not as many as other drugstore brands.

The sunscreen itself acts as a better moisturizer than others I've tried. But, in every other regard, it's like everything else on the market--greasy, feels a little chalky, goes on streaky white,has 'nasty synthetic chemicals', etc. If you have oily skin, you might want to use something else on your face. For the price, I like it--but it's certainly not the "natural" sunscreen I was looking for.

I have used this body sunscreen since 4 years ago and I will not change it for any other. I have many allergies and with this one I get protection and I am worry free concerning allergies. Amazon price is great which is fantastic!:)

The l'oreal revitalift series really does help firm up lose skin. I've used it for a couple years. My neck has improved slightly but the biggest change was in the bags under my eyes and my neck. The lines are greatly diminished around my eyes as well. However, the side effect I've seen is clogged pores leading to blemishes and acne.

As a result I've had to seek out alternative treatments or options..I wound up finding an aloe-infused toner and trying st. ives instead since it's hypoallergenicFREE St. Ives Renewing Collagen Elastin Advanced Body Moisturizer + Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner w/Aloe Vera. I can use the l'oreal cream with the toner too if I prefer. It works well with any elastin style lotion because it helps keep pores clear while still moisturizing. I've got clear AND firm skin now.

Let me apologize ahead of time for my review because I'm a guy and don't know all the terms for facial discriptions when it comes to "beauty tips." Anyways, I got this product mostly out of curiosity, but I am glad I did and would recommend it to anyone. I have a bad habit since childhood of pushing together my eyebrows to sheild my eyes from the sun, and have created creases or "wrinkles" (though I don't think they are really "wrinkles" in terms of aging) on my forehead between the two eyebrows. I applied the cream to the area including on my cheeks and neck. After only 4 days, I noticed the wrinkle between my eyebrows dramatically decrased. I also noticed the appearance of a firmer jaw-line. I noticed the affects after only 4 days, which is probably fast and may sound too good to be true, but I am in my mid twenties, so that may contribute to how fast it works. Anyways this product works, and is definitely cool. Ummm.. sorry.. had to throw that last bit in so my review wouldn't sound so feminine...yo. Ahem.

What is this miracle in a bottle l'oreal is selling and why haven't I heard of it before? I was introduced to the USANA Sense skin products through a "starter kit".I liked all the products, and my favorites are the Daytime Emulsion moisturizer and the Gentle Daily Wash.I've been using those for several years now and swear by them.If I run out and have to use another product for a while, I can immediately tell the difference in my skin.With these two products my skin feels more hydrated and supple, my pores are noticeably smaller, a few acne scars are less noticeable, and it reduces fine lines and puffiness around the eyes -something it doesn't even say it will do. I'm in my 60's now and it's helping my skin so much.I wish I'd know about it 20 years ago.

This is my opinion based on use of USANA SENSE face products (daytime moisturizer, toner, cleanser, pefecting essence and nighttime moisturizer): I tried these products and HATED THEM.They dried out my skin and caused a severe rash.My dermatologist indicated that he has never seen good results from this line.I was hooked by their organic, flowery website... but user beware. Independent sales representatives are pushy to sell, but not eager to help when you have bad results.

Stick to more established and reputable skin care lines. Please note, I am a consumer and in no way affiliated with any competing companies. I just don't want anyone else to be impacted negativley by use of this product.
