I've always been a Neutrogena user, first their bar soaps back when I was a teen, then on to their line of moisturizers as I've gotten older.When this Anti-Wrinkle cream came out, I switched to it from the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion.The price was higher, but still much lower than any other trusted brand with Retinol.

Awhile back, I had a chance to test Olay's Professional Pro-X Intensive Wrinkle Protocol Kit. Since I still had a full tube of my Neutrogena, I thought it would be fun to do a test.I used the Neutrogena once a day in the morning on the left side of my face, and the Olay kit (two items in the morning, one at night) on the right side of my face.Before testing, I took photos, then after a month, I took more photos. No difference in skin tone, condition or wrinkle appearance between the left and right sides of my face after a month!

This was proof enough for me that Neutrogena has the same results as the Olay system for much less money and hassle.

I've been using this on my face daily for about 2 years and it's left my face smoother and clearer, but the biggest difference is my hands.I was beginning to look at my hands and see my mother's wrinkled, age-spotted hands yikes!I started using a pearl-sized dab on the tops of my hands daily as well and see a huge difference.While there's considerably less retinol than in a prescription retinol cream, it's also about a tenth of the price of what my dermatologist prescribed (which I never filled after pricing it).

First of all, I'm 51, so I'm not a 25 year-old who has no real wrinkles or skin issues such as unevenness and sun damage. I've got it all, plus super sensitive skin. I've been using this product during the day and even sometimes at night for a few weeks now with no irritation and great results. Some of my friends had mentioned another product that might be even better, so I briefly switched to RoC's Deep Wrinkle line. OMG. I only lasted two days using it because of the perfumes and the general heaviness/oiliness I experienced, not to mention it made my eyes water (and I didn't even put any around my eyes). I took those products back, needless to say. The grass is always greener--not.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin is a great line in general. I now use the eye cream and the night creme as well as the day creme. I will stick with this line and not stray again. It goes on silky, no oily feel, no harsh perfumes, and no skin or eye irritation (and I use it around my eyes). I wake up looking a little brighter every day. Deeper smile lines and brow furrows are softening more and more, skin is more even and sun damage is lightening up. :)

I recently bought this from Amazon to use on my hair,

and I'm glad I did, it's working really well.

I rub it into my scalp first, and then rub from root to tip on my hair,and leave it on for about an hour before washing it. The results have been great, my hair is extremely soft, and my scalp feels a lot healthier.

As far as the size of the bottle goes,I think it's actually a pretty good size.

And you can't tell from the picture,but the top of the cap has an applicator attached,

which makes it a lot easier when applying the oil to the scalp and roots.

I haven't tried it on my skin yet,

It leaves you a tad on the "Orange" side.I, also,am not in love with the glitter it leaves on my skin after I put it on. I'm wanting it to look real and the glitter doesn't help that at all.

I'm pale. Pale pale pale pale. Super fair skin. My grandfather always used to joke that I looked like Casper the Ghost when I wore shorts. When I first tried this tanner, I decided to go crazy with it. I put it everywhere, and rubbed it in really really really good. To my horror, despite rubbing it in for 15 minutes straight, it dried looking orange and streaky. Not to mention, it felt sticky. I always keep some makeup remover wipes on hand so I can quickly remove the tanner from around my ankles, backs of my knees, wrists, and hands. Instead, I took my makeup remover wipes and wiped off all the orange streaks and a massive amount of glitter. I went to bed.

....the next day, I woke up and looked at my legs. Oh my goodness, I am tan. My milk white skin is TAN! No streaks, just beautiful tan goodness. I've decided that the formula is only orangey brown to give an idea of where I'm putting it and what areas I've covered. It will look streaky when I first put it on. It will dry sticky, smell like soapy perfume, but all of that washes away with a good shower. All that is left behind is a beautiful tan.

My suggestion: Tie your hair up, strip naked and use this on the morning of your day off, when you are lounging around the house. Pay the orange streaks no mind. Let it get semi-dry (where the orange streaks stick to your skin and don't move around easily), and put on some clothes that you don't care about getting stained. If you rubbed tanner into your butt, wear a loose skirt and skip the underwear. Then go about your cleaning, cooking, TV watching, video games, whatever. In the evening, take a shower. Use some soap, and gently wash your skin. Get all of the orange streaks off. Use some rubbing alcohol on any areas that were accidentally tanned.

....Voila! A gorgeous, natural looking tan!

I only wish L'Oreal would make a version without glitter.

When I first applied the product, I HATED the glitter. I looked like a 12yr old off to her first dance! But I woke up in the morning, and noticed that the glitter had lessened, and left a pretty glow. I did have streaks and patches where the tan came off completely on the first day, but since reapplying, and applying regularly, I have not had any problems.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Under Eye Line-Minimizing & Tone-Enhancing Concealer .05 fl oz (1.5 ml)

I've used this concealer for over 2 years and it is one the best ever. I have severe dark circle and dry 40+ skin, so I have to have superior coverage with anti-aging moisturizers/treatments. This concealer covers better than most and is the only one that actually does seem to make the skin under my eyes look better. All other concealers are either drying or just settle in the lines and make me look older or they just don't cover the circles. The only negatives I have to say about it is that the color that matches my skin tone best (193 Light/med) is a little too neutral, I wish it were a little rosier/pinker -AND the amount you get in this little tube is very small and if you use it every day (like me) you will go through it very quickly.

Alsothe reason I ordered it off amazon is that all the drugstores and Ulta stopped selling it and I guess Loreal is making changes to the Visible lift line and have not put out the newest "improved" version yet. My experience has been that when a company makes changes to a product I love and state that it is now "new and improved" it suddenly sucks, and I usually have to find a new product. So I hope I am just being cynical and it turns out to at least be as good as it always has been, we will see...in the meantime I hope to continue finding it on Amazon!

This concealer works as well on my thirteen year old daughter as it does on my dry, older skin (45+). I like it almost as well as YSL's Touche Eclat and it's a fraction of the cost. Goes on sheer so you can layer as necessary. Does not cake or rub off unless you are trying to do so. Unfortunately L'Oreal seem to be reformulating it (hope they don't screw up a good thing) so it's currently almost impossible to find on the shelf. Amazon has, it, thank goodness. Buy while you can.

This concealer really covers. The fluid is lightweight and easy to spread. Usually those kinds do not cover well but this one does. I generally use other natural sunscreens (non-chemical physical blockers. I even make my own!) but decided to try this since I could get it locally and it's natural (and mostly because we were heading out of town and I didn't have time to make any more!). Four of us were wearing it and all 4 of us were burned. We were in the sun for 2 hours, so I am guessing it protected us a little bit. But it pretty much looks like none of us were wearing sunscreen. My 2 children have the first sunburns of their lives and they are 6 and 4 years old. I'm pretty upset and felt compelled to go online, while on vacation, to warn others that this didn't work at all for us. Try it on yourself first maybe in one test location on your body before putting it on your children (better yet, get something else!). :(

Edited to add on July 2nd, 2012: Our sunscreen was lumpy (since I'd never used the product before I thought maybe that is how it was made, but I remember thinking it was odd). I've read since our incident that lumpy typically means it was exposed to excessive heat and may have lost it's effectiveness. Someone was kind enough to respond that it's typically not a lumpy lotion, so if you purchase one that is lumpy, don't trust it! I am not changing my rating since I'm not certain that was the cause and it burned us, but I am willing to try the sunscreen again (non-lumpy). Thought I'd update here, and if I happen to be around the product again (I'm not sure I'll purchase it again unless it's from somewhere I know I can return it if it is lumpy), I'll update my review with my experience.

Honestly, I think I am in love with this powder. The cool thing about this is that when you run your brush over it, it looks like powder is popping up over the flat surface. When you open it up, it looks like foundation, but it's not. It doesn't make my skin look dry, nor does it make me look cakey. WILL buy this again.

This cleanser is AMAZING...I've been a longtime fan of Shisheido cleansers because I loved the foaming texture and how my skin felt squeaky clean and tight.I leaned that it was actually making my skin dryer which led to a lot of unexplained peeling.So, I needed to find a new cleanser...on with my journey.

Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Effect SPF 40 Lotion, 6-Fluid Ounce

I used this product for the first time while spending a weekend in 109 degree weather in Palm Springs, California.I have a very fair complexion, and the scent, shimmer, and spf withstood the heat, sweat, and pool, and kept me feeling pretty and protected.I will buy this again for my next adventure in Mexico.

I'd seen ads for this recently in magazines, and liked the idea of it having a slight shimmer since during the summer I like to use lotions that have a bit of sheen to them.The shine particles (which come from the mieral mica) are a bit larger and more noticeable than I thought they would be, but it still looks really pretty on my (self-)tanned skin and brings out a nice sheen and glow, as promised.This also has the delicious tropical scent that Hawaian Tropic is known for; it reminds me of the lazy days of summer. It's a great sunscreen to wear during the summer.

This also has UVA/UVB protection, and the SPF 40 that I purchased does a nice job of keeping harmful rays out. It's not necessarily a sport sunscreen, but you can wear it in water, as long as you re-apply afterwards.

Overall, if you like the tropical scent of Hawaiian Tropic products, I'd give this a try!

I love how it smells.I usually hate things that shimmer on my skin but in the water, under the sun, it's insanely flattering.I thought I looked like Cleopatra, goddess of the water.I don't mind tanning in small spurts, but this spf 40 does the trick under long sun exposure to keep the burn away and let a little bit of tan sneak through.It does need to be reapplied a few times under big sun and especially in water sports, but it's easy to spread on and the white lotion absorbs pretty quickly.If you're not into shimmer, stick with another choice.Otherwise, Cleopatra it up.

I wore them nearly all the time for a couple months last summer and these are great! They are so light and comfortable yet they seem pretty durable. Just enough protection for your feet, even fine for walking on rough gravel. You can feel the gravel but not to the point of discomfort.

Be aware that if you step on a damp spot you will feel the moisture come through the sandal. That doesn't really bother me, but I didn't think about it before having them. It means they aren't so great for walking in wet grass or if it has rained recently. But for a hot summer day nothing beats these rope sandals!

La Roche Posay Anthelios 20 Spf Fluide Extreme Sunscreen (Pack of Two)

I very rarely write reviews, but felt I had to for this sunscreen.I battle with polymorphous light eruption (a rash associated with exposure to the sun) and have been vigilantly protecting my face and body for years.I use the 50+ for my body, but that was too emollient for my face so I tried the fluide extreme 20.It is perfect.Fluid like consistency, blends well and quickly, does not leave a sheen on my face and there is no fragrance.Perfect!Plus I'm getting the same great protection that Anthelios products provide.Pharmamundi is a great seller and I've now ordered from them twice will definitely be a repeat customer.They are quick and appear to be providing exactly the products I want (European standards, rather than US).All around I highly recommend this product for those serious about protecting their faces from sun and sun damage!

California Tan Ionyx Step 1 Tanning Lotion Cal Tan Ionyx Step 1 Base Tan Builder 7 oz

Great step 1 tanning lotion. It give a great base and almost natural tan. It does smell nice, nothing to strong.

Step 2 is way better as it has tingles and gets you even tanner. This does increase your tan but I have several people tell me it smells horrible. It has an easy pump but it does not last very long....but keep in mind these are usually sold in salons for triple the price.

I bought this lotion at my local tanning salon, I was told it was the best lotion to use. I used it and it does in fact accerlerate your tan, however, it leaves an orange tint behind. I got compliments that I was tan, but "a different kind of tan". My skin is olive and usually tans a nice dark brown, and tanning without the lotion I have lost the orange tint. If you do not mind having a little orange tint then it will boost your tan and does not smell as bad as other rival lotions.

Sun Bum Zinc Oxide SPF 50+

My first reaction when I received this sunscreen is that the jar is really tiny for the price. The packaging is cute and the jar is a very convenient way of dispensing the product, but other than that, I don't have anything positive to say about this sunscreen. It is a thick, white cream that for some reason has a gritty texture as if some ingredient is not quite blended in. You can't use it on your face because it is so thick and white. I used it on my arms but they looked ghostly white after application. After a couple of weeks, I ended up throwing the rest out because it is so unpleasant to use.

The product was received in perfect condition.

But it was not what I expected, not very well protected me and gave me the sun allergy, and not only to me, allergy gave several people who used it.

I would not use this sunscreen again.

But I received the product quickly.

For me this product worked entirely as expected.For my husband, it resulted in a nearly full body rash so bad we thought he'd been sunburned.

I have no complaints whatsoever! I have had problems in the past with some sunscreens designed for faces burning and making my eyes water. This one does not, it is pretty much order-less, it's non greasy and works wonders for me and my fair complexion.
