This stick is so creamy, glides easily on the skin, and it doesn't look cakey at all. I make few strokes and then blend with my finger. I wear ochre and it's more for yellow undertones. Even though the stick is tiny I need the smallest amount of any foundation I've ever tried. It looks oily and shiny, I use a bit of powder on my T-zone.
I have oily skin and was looking for a lightweight, non-greasy sunscreen for my face.I typically purchase Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch sunblock at Costco due to its affordability and being noncomedogenic.(Oops...maybe I shouldn't mention shopping at Costco in an Amazon review...ha, ha).The Neutrogena is a great sunscreen, but it is pretty thick and has left me looking a little "ghostly-white" at times as it can be tough to completely absorb the creme into the skin.So, I wanted to find a different sunscreen product for my face.Someone recommended the Kate Somerville Sunscreen.It's pricey, but I feel it is worth it.I have found it to be very lightweight, easily absorbs into the skin and does not cause me to break out.Yay!

I bought this for our 7 month old before a week in St Thomas.I would have preferred a larger package size, but it wouldn't be available in time.The product worked great, and it was easily spreadable if I put it on my finger tips and rubbed them together to warm it up before I put it on the baby.The nice thing about the smaller packages is now I can have some in the diaper bag and my purse with less space taken up.

The ingredients are safe but it is hard to rub over the face and tends to be greasy after an hour.My kids are as white as white gets and burn if they are out for more than 10 minutes.With this lotion, we were able to have a Florida beach vacation for a week with no sunburns!Of course I reapplied during the day but they remained safe.The lotion goes on wellit isn't like peanut butter or hard to spread but it isn't like water either... just right and doesn't give you the "ghost" look.I really love this sunscreen for baby. It's made by an awesome, baby-safe organic company (love their household cleaners, too) and it is at the perfect price point. Also, it actually rubs in unlike many other organic sunscreens.

I I found this face block on the Environmental Working Group's list of safest sunscreens. It is very thick a little goes a long way. It leaves the skin slightly whitened, but since I use it under makeup, it doesn't show. I was at the beach for 4 hours and never had to re-apply. I would buy this product again.

I was very disappointed with this sunscreen. I read the reviews and still went ahead with the purchase because I have used other Desert Essence products for years and loved them but I should have listened to those who already knew better. Yes, it does smell nice enough but that's the one and only pro. The main problem is the cream is too thick--way too thick! I've used Alba Botanica's mineral facial sunscreen up until now but thought I'd choose the less expensive Desert Essence and see how it went. No comparison. Whereas Alba's works into your face quickly and leaves it feeling soft and moisturized I must agree with another review in saying that after working in the D.E. sunscreen you've got to be doing more damage to your face than you're avoiding from the sun. My husband and I joked that I was putting on my pale vampire face every time I applied it because it never fully worked in. It also is so thick that now that I've broken the seal it's very hard to squeeze out of the bottle. Because of the white discoloring I'm even hesitant to use it on the rest of my body. Okay, I bought this product back in November of 2010. I used it once and filed it away in the OH HELL NO cabinet. Why? Because it was somewhat difficult to apply and it left my face with a whitish/light blue tinge. I looked like a mime. No Bueno!

My mom used this for a longtime. Its been hard to find at regular retail stores. The price is great. It doesnt cake or dry on the lips. The color lasts for hours. Its her favorite!

I was so happy to find this product today at Wal-Mart..( I used the "kids" version).I've been looking for an all natural and papa free sunscreen.I've been looking on-line and was so confused and overwhelmed.I hope this is it.I applied this about 15 minutes before going in the sun...to my two kids and myself.It was a bit hard to rub in and it leaves a whitish tint to the skin.However, it worked well.We were out from about 11:30 to 2:30, full sun and in FL.Happy to report .....great coverage.Not as easy to apply as the spray kind, but worth having chemical free.

I bought the E.L.F. malt shake lip gloss and I love it! I do not like an obvious color on my lips and the malt shake simply enhances what I already have naturally. Its a bit sticky at first but lasts a long time. I don't notice any particular scent while wearing the product. It does what it says it will and it it not expensive.
