I just got this product a few days ago and absolutely love it. I opted for the clear treatment since I was looking for more of a lip moisturizer than color. It does everything that it says and is completely worth the price. My lips have never felt so soft and light. Most lip treatments I have used in the past are very heavy and leave my lips sticky. This product is applied very smoothly and leaves my lips with just the right amount of moisture. I have kept it on my desk and use it multiple times a day. It's the perfect lip treatment.
What a great moisturizer this is.Nothing else is comparable now that I've tried this.It is somewhat pricey in my mind but unfortunately, I cannot be satisfied with any other lip moisturizer now.

I bought this in the clear color to protect my lips from the sun and drying out. It works well and plumps them a bit. I am not sure anyone else would really notice the plumping ( do not worry, you are not going to get big collagen lookingfish lips) , but I notice a change. It is a nice product.I am sensitive and this did not bother my lips the way some products do.

Skinceuticals Phloretin Cf is an effective serum to lighten age spots and give over-all clarity to the skin.I started seeing the diminishing of some severe age spots within a week.I especially like these travel size containers as they enable keeping the Vitamin C protected and stable.I kept mine in the box in the frig and only removed the ampule I was using for a few minutes then replaced it back in the box. This lotion smells great, but I didn't experience the best results. I understand this lotion is supposed to tingle and have a bite but my skin did not have the best reaction. Right after applying it my skin was so red and hot it looked purple. I felt like a I was on fire(not the best feeling...) and was shaking and shivering. I decided not to go to the tanning salon, sure that if they saw me looking completely fried like this, they wouldn'tnot let me tan. It took about two hours along with a shower to get it to stop. Just be careful. Im sure this is a great product for most people. I would recommend testing it one a small piece of your skin before applying it to your whole body like I did. It kinda scared me, what chemicals do they put in these lotions to make that happen to you? I know others who love this lotion, but I guess everyone is different.

It was time for hubby to get on a skin regimen of some sort and I chose this set because of seeing it in a magazine and using the hand wash at a Seahawks game. He loves it. I wanted to write a review because I didn't see but a few, and I really do love this lotion. I randomly bought it at a tanning salon a few months ago and have been getting it since. I have fair sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts, and I have had very dry skin ever since moving to Alaska. I was looking for something with moisturization without being too heavy, and a good smell. Everyone is different, but to me this lotion smells like blackberries and citrus. Not fruity, just juicy and fresh at the same time...like a citrusy fresia. If you don't like the smell all that much, it does fade after a while like most lotions. With reguards to moisturization this lotion is light, yet it has silicones and moisture ingredients that seals your moisture in for a while. Being in the dry cold up here I have to put it on morning and night, and it has been working great. Also, with the silicones, I put it on my face as well and it doesn't make my face shiney. I really haven't noticed any bronzing effect at all like it claims....but that is good for me because bronzers always rub off in my experience, and look quite fake on me. As everyone is different you'll just have to try it, but it is a favorite of mine.

It does have a few set backs.
The pump top is a pain if you're using it after you get done tanning. It'll slip out of your hand if you don't put a towel over it.
Tangelic doesn't last long in the moisturizing but does have a good bronzer.It sometimes will roll off your skin if you touch it after the first time you put it on which isn't my favorite thing, having lil clumps of bronzer colored lotion all over my legs.

I bought this lotion after using lots of designer skin tanning lotions that contain the silicone emulsion.I always loved the way they felt, and wanted my skin feeling that smooth on days I'm not tanning.This is some amazing stuff! Way better than ds tanning lotions, and my skin feels like velvet! I have never written a review on any products before, but I had to tell someone! My 6 yr old daughter told me that she wants to use my leg as a pillow bc it was so soft! 51 years old, suffer from hormonal melasma, basically have normal to dry skin, olive complexion. (Think,Italian, American Indian, Hispanic skintone, with yellow, red and brown hues to my skin.)(It would be nice, if people put their age, type of skin they have, etc, when giving a review.)I cannot use an all chemical sunscreen, Avobenzone, oxybenzone, played havoc on my skin, swollen eyes, welts, etc., and I do not have sensitive skin!
I put an antioxidant serum on first, that I made myself, and then the sunscreen.I don't care if the antioxidant serum, prevents the chemical part of the sunscreen from getting into my skin, personally I don't want it too.I purchased it, mainly for the zinc oxide, since it is so hard to find over the counter zinc oxide sunscreen. ( I was using baby diaper rash cream, for the zinc, and it works wonderfully, but even that has loads of chemicals, too thick, and questionable.)

I put a tiny bit of powder (pinch) foundation in it,that is about 2 shades darker than my skin tone, and it gives me a perfect complexion, you would never know I have it on.
I have no breakouts, no dry skin, no welts, no irritation, from using this sunscreen at the end of the day.Hard to get off, but I have conquered that one too.Take a baby wipe, remove as much as you can, then cleanse your body and face, with your personal cleanser.:-)

I minused one star, because of the chemicals in it, with all of our scientific research with poisnings in our skin care, Coppertone, can and could easily switch to something much more healthier for our bodies. But, it does a great job, of protecting our skin from darkening, and burning fromthe sun.I think, I will just start making my own sunscreen.
As it seems most sunscreens of this type are, the lotion was hard to rub in and left a white tint to your body. It also shows up on your bathing suit if you get any on it. However, I barely had to reapply and only got burnt on the areas I missed with the lotion. Although it was a slight whitish tint, I could tell it was staying on even after dips in the pool and ocean. The lotion did not drip off as the regular Coppertone Sport my husband used did. I would buy again, it worked very well and is fairly priced!

I bought this product because the EWG gives it a good rating (see ), it's inexpensive, and you can find it pretty much anywhere (Target, CVS, etc.). After having used it for months, I'm certainly not disappointed by how it performs. It does not dry out my skin or cause breakouts, it keeps me from getting burned, and I feel good knowing that it scores very well in its ability to block UVA light (which is the spectrum that causes skin aging and cancer). It also will not come off easily if you get wet or sweat a lot.In fact, it will not come off easily, period. Even after a shower were I thoroughly wash all areas I applied the sunscreen, the slight sunscreen smell will linger for at least 24 hours. And it's no easier to apply than it is to remove, especially if you have any body hair. The consistency of the product is almost like glue or paste. It helps a little bit to wet your skin before applying, but not much, and this practice may reduce the effectiveness of the product. Whatever I do, it takes lots of work to rub it in completely, and there will always be a slight white tint when all is said and done.
Since I use the product mostly for tennis, not for swimming, I probably won't be buying it again. It's just not practical for frequent use. It's ideal if you have minimal body hair and want to use it for the occasional day at the beach. It really won't come off in the water, and you probably won't mind taking some extra time to apply it.

I am Indian and have a fairly dark complexion that tans very easily.I also use prescription products on my skin that require me to be vigilant about sun protection.I recently tried out this sunblock while I was outdoors swimming, and for the first time in my life, I DID NOT TAN AT ALL despite several hours of direct sun exposure (at midday and 7000+ feet of elevation)!So, I am confident that this product offers phenomenal sun protection.It took some work to rub it in, but it eventually absorbed enough that there was no noticeable white cast even on my dark skintone.However, a white cast did reappear once my skin got wet.For me, that's a small price to pay for such excellent sun protection, but it might be a negative for some people.If you have a lighter complexion, I would guess this will not be an issue.This won't be an everyday sunblock for me (for that, I like Coppertone Oil-Free SPF 30 or 45), but I will stay loyal to this on days when I'm outdoors and need hardcore sun protection.Want Coppertone Coppertone Sensitive Skin Spf 50 Sunscreen Lotion Discount?

The Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch (SPF30) has become my favorite sunblock.I bought it based on a recommendation in Bicycling magazine, and also because it's much cheaper than sunblocks with zinc oxide.This is really the only sunblock I can stand to put on because of how light and non-greasy it is.Other sunblocks have come close, but always cost twice as much or more.It's not rated very well on the EWG Skin Deep database (moderate health concerns), but I figure it's healthier I get a sunblock I don't mind using, than to get a sunblock I hate (or can't afford) and not use as often.It does have a very strong Pina Colada scent, but I don't think it smells bad or chemically.It does burn your eyes a little, so it might be worth pairing this with a separate face product, but I find washing my face after a workout works fine.

The first time I picked up a Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Sunblock, I was in Vegas.I needed more sunblock (I didn't bring enough unfortunately) so I stopped by the Walgreens on the Vegas Strip.As I walked in, a couple of models were promoting this sunblock.They were discounted and I had nothing to lose so I bought one.Unlike other sunblocks I was using, this one goes on smooth and there's no greasy feel to it.It's like putting on moisturizing lotion.The coconut(?) scent is nice too.I've been using this sunblock ever since.
The only downside to this sunblock, and I really struggled to find one, is that because it goes on so smooth, sometimes I think I didn't put enough on.I end up using more, going through the bottle rather fast.

I would not buy again.I can't wear black eyeliner to work, but this stuff is perfect.It's a soft pencil that applies easily. The color is shiny (as opposed to matte) so it looks softer than plain brown eyeliner.This eye liner is great! Lasts forever, glides on smoothly & accentuates my eyes perfectly. It's a perfect brownish tone, and dark enough to enhance my eyelashes. I'll never try another liner, this one's it for me, it's perfect.

Updated 2010/0927I changed my rating from 5 to 3 because I found that over time my skin began to react to the lotion causing red rashes that would last a few days but then clear. Since I'm prone to skin allergies, I didn't associate it to the product right away as I had started off so well using it daily without any problem for me, I generally get a reaction right away if I have a sensativity to a product so I thought I had hit gold. Though my skin had a good first response to the product, in the end I had to stop using it as well as the face cream version which also caused the same allergic rashing under the eyes. So in general it was ok for occational use, but, in a daily use situation, I had problems with it over time. I can't recommend it anymore for that reason but as I note below, I've had allergic reactions to all the other SPF products as well.This one I had the least reaction to, but in the end, I had a bad reaction from daily use.

I was looking for SPF protection but have skin sensativities and had been allergic to everything I tried previously.My dematologist recomends Eucerin and I use several versions of the product regularly now and find it works better for me then anything else.Eucerin in general, feels a little greasy when it first goes on, but for me after about an hour is absorbed into the skin and is extremely effective in preventing cracking, drying, and irritations. It has NO fragrance added to it, which for me is essential.The SPF protection is a great idea and I was very glad to find this product.I'd recommend it to anyone with sensative skin looking for sun protection.This is light enough to where anytime, all day, going to work, etc., as a daily after shower moisturizer.
I live in Las Vegas, and I have really sensitive skin.I have found this to be a really great product.I was using the Original Eucerin Moisturizing lotion and got this to help protect from the intense Las Vegas sun.I use it every day after I get out of the shower. The first thing that I loved about it is that it goes on super smooth making it really easy to put on and leaving your skin smooth too.Yes it does leave a slight residue, but it is not greasy or unpleasant to me, like I said, it leaves the skin feeling very smooth. Mostly you feel the residue on your hands after you put it on, but it washes off with soap and water.And I have never noticed a residue on my clothes.I haven't had a problem with dry skin since I started using it, which is always a big problem where I live.And it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.There have been times when I have been outside for a couple of hours at a time and it has protected my skin very well.
The only con I have is that when you first put it on it has a slight mediciney smell.But that quickly goes away and I never notice it after I put it on.
So, I find this to be exactly what it says, Every Day Protective Moisturizing Lotion.If you actually planning on being outside for an extensive time, or in the water, I would recommend something more intensive or waterproof.But this is perfect if you never know when or how long you might be outside.I love it.
This leaves my skin feeling very greasy and I don't like the scent.I like Lubriderm much better.Very disappointed.I may obsess a bit about sun exposure (and yes, I know about the Vitamin D studies), but it's still the right thing to protect your skin this lotion is made by a highly respected company, has no nasty chemical odor, smooths on/absorbs and just does its job.I cannot find this anymore in local stores, so Amazon is my go-to (again).I love the combination of moisturizer and sunscreen.This lotion also has little to no fragrance which is a plus.

Pros: Paraben, SLS-free. SPF with natural ingredients. Fragrance-free but has its own mild, natural scent not offensive at all. Gender-neutral packaging and scent, in my opinion.Cons: It's easy to use too much, if you use the entire amount in one "pump". You will feel like you are wearing a coating of shortening. Start with a SMALL amount and add more if needed. Even after waiting 5-10 minutes and then applying mineral powder makeup, I felt the moisturizer stayed on top of my skin instead of absorbing in, which made my makeup brush on too thickly in some areas.
Overall: If you like feeling that your skin has a protective layer and don't mind the slightly-coated feeling, this is a great natural product at a very reasonable price. Might be better for non-powder-makeup wearers. If, like me, you prefer to feel that your skin is "naked", you might want to try Juice Beauty products.

So far... I love it!!I have dry skin on my face; it's so dry that after I shower, it feels tight unless I moisturize it.
I never use "one full pump" on products that comes with pumps because they always give out too much, so that wasn't an issue for me.My skin absorbed the product well and it has a pleasant scent while leaving my skin hydrated and soft.It doesn't feel like I have grease on my face or anything.I even reapplied 10 minutes later with more and it still absorbed into my skin.
I put on my mineral powder after applying the moisturizer and it felt and looked fine.I couldn't feel anything weighing down on my face and I couldn't see speckles of the powder.
I don't know how well it will protect against the sun thoughit has a SPF of 15 but I live at 9,100 feet.Better to have some SPF than none at all, I guess!
I would recommend this product for people with a dry face.

Overall this is not an especially horrible daily sunscreen moisturizer. It does leave a rather white coat but goes away after it fully absorbs and is a little greasy just like most other sunscreens.The major factor that discontinued my use was that it contains Retinyl Palmitate, which is a vitamin A derivative. It's great for preventing premature aging, hyper pigmentation, acne, acne scars, and has various other benefits. However, vitamin A derivitives such as retinol, retinoids, and retinyls are not meant for daytime use. They make the skin very sensitive to the sun and actually increase the chances of developing cancer tremendously. That is why most antiaging and acne products that contain these ingredients stress to only use them during the night.
So it is very surprising that Yes To made a sunscreen under the Yes To Carrots line since carrots naturally contain vitamin A. The sunscreen idea could have been implemented in the other Yes To lines like the blueberries and cucumbers and it would have been great and safe.
This is not recommended at all, and I actually ended up returning it because I wouldn't want to give someone else the product not because the product itself is awful, but because of the overall health concerns associated with the ingredients.

About half way through this bottle and I love it. It doesn't feel like a sunscreen AT ALL. Its a natural product I believe and it is works with my very sensitive skinI use this as a daily moisturizer if I am going to go outside at all. But if I'm going to spend a whole day outside in the sun, this wouldn't be enough. you'd probably want to add an spf 30 to forehead, nose, cheek apples, chin and ears.
i can even use this around my delicate eye area and my skin always looks and feels healthy and comfortable.
i can't even use the Eucerin for sensitive skin because it dries out my face and irritates skin badly around my eyes.

Just received it today.Bought it on the same date as the EWG report because I was concerned about too many chemicals being put onto my 2 small children everyday.Notwithstanding the EWG endorsement, the formulation apparently changed and this product contains Oxybenzone, Vitamin A, and several other ingredients which I was specifically trying to avoid.You may as well buy the cheaper drug store brands than pay a premium for this supposedly chemical free sunscreen.DO NOT BUY if you are looking to avoid the chemicals!
We purchased this product for a trip to Carribean Mexico. 1)I used it on my legs during a brief lay on the beach. I was in the sun for 1/2 hour when I noticed a burn on my legs. I immediately got out of the sun and had a bizarre burn in random areas on my knees and left shin. I had been very thorough in applying it so it's as if it just broke down in certain areas. I used a different product on my top half and had perfect coverage. The burn was terrible and looked as if I had poured boiling water down the front of my shin (the other leg was fine). It's almost as if it acted as a sun "enhancer" in certain areas. My companion also burned in random streaks after a half hour in the sun. 2) If you get this product on clothing, swimsuits, etc. It is VERY difficult to get out.I DO NOT recommend this product at all!
After reading about this product on EWG I purchased the new formulation of Aquasport from another website & the active ingredients are titanium dioxide 8% and zinc oxide 6% and at the top of the front it says "oxybenzone & paraben-free".I just put it on my face and it absorbed immediately with no sticky after effect.I have a feeling that maybe Amazon has an old formulation (on the front of the Amazon Aquasport it says "PABA & Paraben free" instead of the "oxybenzone & paraben-free").
Just bought some of this stuff at Wholefoods.It was reasonably priced ($8) and contained sufficient amounts of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.I believe they just started making this formula without the Oxybenzone.So it now has a rating of 2 on EWG site.An important plus for me, because I tend to use sunscreens daily, is that it easily blends in clear.Though I have not put it to the test on a beach day, I'm sure some of the solid zinc formulas do a better job at protection (like Badger?).I do triathlons so I train a lot in the sun when swimming and sweating.I only use mineral based sunscreens for me and the kids given the questionable efficacy of chemical sunscreen agents.I have tried a dozen or so of the mineral based water resistant sunscreens and this one works best for me.Goes on easy.Doesnt turn my face into a white clown mask and it works well through a sweaty workout.

This is a great "hot action" lotion! There really isn't an actual tingle effect, it just skips over to the red, hot skin. Never felt a tingle at all. I haven't been tanning in years. And recently my son started school, so I was able to start tanning again. The first 4 or 5 times, I didn't use any lotion. And this lotion is the first lotion that I started using. And HOLY COW!!! It was HOT the first several times that I used it, but it was SOOOO worth it! Because it increased my tan by several shades in each single session in a regular 20 minute bed. The bronzers do not stain/or streak in any way. My tan continues to darken for the next few hours after each session.However, I have used 'only' this lotion for two months and I feel like I'm at a stand still with my tan... All though I get non stop compliments on how dark that I am. And I no longer get the hot feeling from it anymore, so it just feels like any normal lotion. Ultimately though, I LOVE this lotion and I will be buying it again!

Its works well but I am not sure how much air it allows, the baby seems sweaty at times. It does fit any stroller. My baby sometimes gets scared when she wakes up but she is only 6 months. Gurkee'S Mens Neptune Sandal - Beige - Sz 10
These are nice sandals, I just now got them so I can't say much about how they handle wear and tear, etc, but what I can say is that you should follow the advice of some other reviewers, and buy one size larger. That's what I did, I wear a size 10 normally but I got a size 11 an they are perfect, even slightly snug but in a comfortable way. Any smaller would not have been good, so if you're looking at this because you normally wear a size 10, go get a size 11 instead.
These sandals definitely get noticed. My first day wearing them I got two compliments from girls.
They are comfy and quite light. I've walked over concrete, through water, and in the woods, and these sandals wear well. They are a little slippery on carpet or wood floors.
My only complaint is that I wear a 10 shoe and the 10 gurkee was wearable but too snug. I'd recommend ordering a size up from your shoe size.

Very rarely do I try on footwear and immediately say, "Yes, they got it right." Such has been my experience with Vivo's, FiveFingers, the Chuck Taylor Slim's, and now with the Gurkee's rope sandals.
The Facts:Gurkee's are handmade from soft carpet fiber that is spun into rope. They are heat welded together to form a very strong bond and are guaranteed against breakage.The Neptunes are completely flat (no arch support), light weight (approx 4.9 oz/sandal), thin soled (between 1/4" and 1/2"), and very flexible.They are salt water and chlorine resistant and machine washable.The bottoms are made from the same durable polypropylene fiber and should they ever fray you can simply throw them in the washing machine, let them dry, singe the loose fibers with an open flame and they will weld back together good as new.It's recommended that this be done from time to time.They float!
The Pros:Gurkees feel like wearing nothing at all, save for the distinctive sensation of walking barefoot on a woven straw mat.The rope texture feels really pleasant on the soles of my feet, almost like getting a deep foot massage, but not at all abrasive or scratchy on the tops or bottoms of my feet.The rope footbed quickly conformed to the bottom of my feet, mainly compressing in the heel and forefoot area.Out of the box, they were a tiny bit stiff, but after wearing them a short time the ropes relaxed quite a bit.The soles bend up with my toes and can be folded nearly in half.Now they're very flexible!Walking the trails at the park I was astonished by the receptive ground feel. The Neptunes do an outstanding job of transmitting the profile of the terrain directly through the sole and I could feel every rock, pebble, root, stick, depression or outcropping underfoot. Forefoot walking, aka fox walking, in them is very natural and intuitive, unlike other sandals I've worn.The braided foot and heel straps do a very good job of keeping them fixed in place without feeling tight and the sandals don't drag behind, flop around or fall of.Rarely do they need tightened up.After five miles of rocky and gravelly terrain the bottoms were still looking new, only more compressed.Good ground traction outdoors and on carpet.They look pretty awesome too, especially if you're into hippiesque Jesus sandals.
The Cons:Slipping them on takes a moment the braided ropes on top initially require a little straightening out but this only takes a few extra seconds.If you walk on anything even remotely damp they will wick the moisture up like a Shamwow and hold it like a sponge.This is not a pleasant sensation and makes them much heavier.They take forever to dry out!They must be either hung up or machine dried or they will remain damp and start to smell like wet carpet.The traction isn't great on smooth surfaces like tile.
All in all these are the favorite sandals that I own and the only real drawback I've encountered is how easily they soak up water.As long as it's dry out though, there's nothing else I'd rather wear on my feet, other than nothing at all.

My girls love this shoes but as soon as they get wet they are hard to walk in.They don't clean that well but if they do fray you can use a lighter to clean the edges (like Tevas.)Would buy again if they want them to wear in the summer.
