This is a great sunscreen powder that I used over my makeup and on areas of my skin exposed to the sun, overtop a sun lotion so that my skin would have a more "matte" finish.

I used the "all clear" orb.

I loved how it felt and how it made my skin silky smooth. It didn't make me shiny like some sun lotions tend to do, or oily or greasy-looking. It's amazing over makeup as a finishing powder to give your skin extra protection from the sun!

However, there are a couple of issues with this product that prevents me from purchasing it again:

1. It has bismuth oxycholoride, which I'm really sensitive to. I have to make sure it does not directly touch my skin (I wear it over my makeup) or I will get a rash. If you think you are sensitive to bismuth oxychloride, it'd be a really good idea to get a trial-size version of the product and patch test it. I would get itchy if I put it over bare skin.

2. "All Clear"...well, isn't really "all clear". It's great for people who are on the light side of things, like the lightest couple of shades in drugstore makeup, however, I am almost white, so this stuff did make me look too dark. If you think you are extremely light-skinned, once again, get a sample size first and try it out to see how it looks on you before making the plunge and buying the full size.

For these two reasons, I have to take off a star.

All in all, it's a good powdered sunscreen that works well in giving skin extra protection from the sun. However, if you are very sensitive, or extremely pale, it might not be right for you. If you are neither one of those things, then you might really love this stuff.

I loved the Sunforgettable in the miniORB, so I bought this brush to try it since it seemed like a convenient idea.Using the brush, I discovered that most of the sunscreen ended up in the air around me (that I then breathed in and proceeded to cough for a few hours) and very little of it on my face.I much prefer the ORB or the large can as a result.The powdered sunscreen itself is very good and doesn't cause any breakouts (even on my acne-proned face) and provides great sun protection (I'm a dermatologist so this is important of course).The brush is a good idea that fails during implementation though. There is also no good way to clean the brush (the alcohol solution sold on the site doesn't work very well).

Dermalogica Oil Free Matte SPF 30-1.7 oz

I bought this sunblock because it was hyped as being "matte" and supposedly would not cause breakouts. I have oily skin and have yet to find a sunblock that does not cause breakouts, and this product was no different from any other. What really upset me was the "matte" hype my face was definitely oilier than with other sunblocks, much oilier. It was kind of disgusting, and I had to wipe my face repeatedly throughout the day. And on top of that, I broke out the next day in the areas where I'd applied this lotion. The only good thing I can say is that the product does appear to work as a sunblock. However, it was a complete and utter disappointment on all other counts. If you have oily skin and are prone to breakouts from sunblock, do NOT use this product.

Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion, Oil Free, SPF 15, 8-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

This product was my go-to sunscreen for at least 8 years.Sadly, they changed the formula about two years ago, the same time they started labeling it as "broad spectrum" sunscreen.The new formula smells horribly like chemical sunscreen (the old formula had no smell).New formula feels thicker and heavier with a slight rubbery texture, and does not absorb as good (old formula was like cream, lightweight and smooth).The worst part is that when I shower after using it I literally peel off these little stringy things from my skin.I switched to Neutrogena Triple Protect SPF 20 to use on my face.It is more similar to the old Coppertone that they ruined with the new formula.

We use this oil free lotion all summer long at the beach. It works on a wide variety of skin types. I am olive skinned and my partner is kind of fair skinned, and we can both use this without fear of getting burned. I lay out in the sun all day long and he generally sits under the umbrella until about 3pm. We went to Aruba and had read that the sun is stronger there due to it's proximity to the equator and I was worried that we should use a higher SPF (because that's what I had read online). We used this all week with no problems at all and it left both of us with really nice tans. We use it everywhere including on our faces and in our hair without fear of breaking out. It is pretty amazing because we are not religious about reapplying, but we both can't believe how well it protects while letting a little sun.

I am not sure why others say this has a strong odor. If anything, I think it is pretty neutral/no odor. To me it smells like a face lotion (like maybe Clinique or Kiehl's) and not like sunscreen. But, I am someone who loves the smell of sunscreen my favorite Yankee Candle is Sun & Sand. :)

This sunscreen works well for preventing sunburn, and it is great being oil-free and I feel safe putting it on my face as well as body, however it has a very strong sunscreen smell, and my skin feels thick and sticky after applying it. After exercising or going to the beach, I always feel that it is absolutely necessary to take a shower to wash it all off immediately. I give it a 3 star because it works well since I've never gotten sunburnt and felt confident it was protecting my skin, however I'm looking for other sunscreens with a drier formula and much much less smell.

I have used smashbox products for the past 5 years.I typically purchase the tinted moisturizer or Healthy FX foundation.However, after reading the reviews for this product, I decided to try it.I also liked the fact that this product was SPF 35, rather than the lower SPF 15 of the Healthy FX.Unfortunately, I am disappointed.This product does not apply well, has a very dull/matte finish, and doesn't feel good on my face-very heavy, uncomfortable feeling.You also get very little product for the money, because you have to use more because it doesn't apply/spread well.The Healthy FX applies so well that you can use very little, has a great finish, and wears comfortably.I will be switching back to the Healthy FX.

This is a great primer.I use it after applying moisturizer or sunscreen or serum.Then I apply my mineral makeup (glominerals brand).I LOVE that it is spf 35!!!! but it is the one product that doesn't bother my eyes (no I dont use it near my eyes but all sunscreen based products somehow seep into my very sensitive eyes its weird). It also gives a flawless base for your makeup.Rally enhances my everyday look.I end up having to use less concealers and makeup overall.I would use this by itself at the beach or running errands.I absolutely love it!

I started doing the Red Light Therapy bed at Showbiz Tan probably about a month or so ago. I had a few VERY dark scars that I wasn't too fond of, also after my pregnancy my face wasn't as "pretty" as it could have been. So I started doing the red light bed, I have only gone 15 times.. (I ran out of the spray and don't want to use my sessions without it) The dark scar that was on my arm is almost invisible unless you are right up on it. The spray itself smells really funny, almost like old jacuzzi water, and you are meant to spray it onto your body before entering your red light therapy session.

I was using it mainly on my face and on my stretch mark areas. It worked really well, but took about 4 sessions for me to really see the results. I had been doing RLT for a few weeks before buying this, without really noticeable results, and with this can of spray, the results were more noted.

Example:

Stretch marks thinner in appearance, but still evident after 2 uses.

After 4 uses, I saw them shrinking, but they of course were still there.

All in all, it will not remove your stretch marks, but it will shrink them making them less embarrassing.

I got it as part of the starting kit from local HT for $80. I was able to use this spray about 2 times with pressure, about 4times in total. That translates to one week from starting red light. That is way too expenssive to keep using. Also, no matter what application method I used, I had an asthma attack every single time I used it, and my family members were complaing of strange breathing difficulties those days as well.

I was soooo looking forward improving my skin tone, but this is not the product for me. Now i use the 2in1 collagenetics for prep. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss, SPF 15, 0.2 Ounce

I hate gloppy, sticky, icky lip gloss (im looking at you mac lipglass) This product has none of those traits, so Im a happy camper. It doesnt really stay on all that long, but it is a gloss, so im not expecting it to. I read once that is a diet tip-put on lip gloss & yll not want to eat because you dont want to mess it up. Maybe that works on some girls, but not me-i just keep reapplying.

I love the color and I got it before the expected date but when I open the package I notice that there wasn't a tamper seal on the lip gloss and I was wondering does it suppose to come that way? I was apprehensive about trying thisworried this would either be A) completely garish and pale or B) not pigmented enough on my lips.I always really wanted Lavender Whip though, so I gave it a try

Pros: It's very buildable but can definitely hold it's own on pigmented lips.It has tiny iridescent shimmers that are invisible when applied to make for a creme finish. Minimal sweet scent. I liked this on top of fuschia lipstick to cool it down but I LOVE this by itself with smokey eyes; it's a nice alternative to a boring pale pink/nude lip.Lasted through lunch, too.Way superior to a MAC Cremesheen glosses for the price.

Cons: A tad sticky and if you are prone to peeling lips, be careful with this one.The super lustrous glosses go on pretty smooth but get a little tacky over time.I also don't advise you to wear this if your teeth aren't the whitest.

A great buy and awesome color! Will be needing backups.

Dermablend Dermablend Quick Fix Concealer SPF 30 - Natural, .16 oz

I used to adore Dermablend's Quick Fix (in Light).I have been using it to cover my very dark undereye circles for a few years now and would drive a good half an hour to find a retail store carrying it (usually JCPenney or Macy's).It covered very well and lasted quite awhile. But a few months back I was surprised to find that the price had increased to 22.00 from 18.00 and that the product itself was different!It was less makeup (4.5g as opposed to the original 5.9g) and the formula itself doesn't seem to cover as well. It seemed a bit on the lighter side, requiring much more product to cover the undereye area. I've tried to find the original product elsewhere but it seems to have been discontinued and besides finding a few on ebay, it looks like I may be on the hunt for a new concealer.For those who have never tried Dermablend, it still may be a better choice than the over-the-counter concealers if you have light to medium undereye circles, but as far as my own preferences go, I am dismayed that they messed with such a great product and additionally, increased the price.

I love beauty products, and always tend to go for the high end ones, not the cheaper walmart stuff. Every possible concealer, you name it, i have tried it. i am not wrinkled, i am in my early 30s, so it is not that i have some major wrinkle issue that is making it hard for me to find a product that does last. i used to use mac for a long time (in the little container, not the liquid ones), i liked it as it was dry and the shades were nice. But when i discovered Dermablend at a CVS, i was impressed by how much coverage it offered, how dry and lasting it was. i never liked liquid concealers, they are the worst. they cause creases when you laugh, even when you apply a setting powder which is terribly drying for yr eyes. i tried Dior's stick, it was just okay, however it was so small, it lasted hardly a few months. and when you think about the price, it is definitely not worth it. i tried chanel, lancome photogenic, clinique, mary Cohr, nars, bobbi brown, estee lauder, helena rubinstein, origins, even went to covergirl and maybelline in my search for THE ultimate concealer.

to me, concealer is THE most important part of my makeup because the best beautifier for the face is increased light around the eyes and on the T zone, before anything else. Dermablend is the only one that had all the following benefits:

1/ dry, not shiny (which is horrible under the eyes, and terribly aging) 2/ easy to apply 3/ HUGE (believe it or not, i bought my tube TWO YEARS AGO! and i apply it everyday!!!) 4/ you can add it over your makeup on the T zone during the day if you want to enhance your makeup, it blends perfectly5/ does NOT need touch ups, and i laugh every 3 minutes which usually causes creases 6/ non drying at all.

most importantly, THANK GOD AND THE HEAVENS, i NO LONGER HAVE TO HEAR MY MOTHER TELLING ME I HAVE TOO MUCH CONCEALER!!!!!!! i so hate dark circles that i always tended to apply too much concealer. with this one, i just need a little bit and it looks perfect!

tip >>> on a special day, use Mary Kay's ($4!!!) concealing base (i use the yellow after i got one for free) under my dermablend, and apply dermablend mostly on the eye bone under your eyes, then spray some Model in a Bottle makeup setting spray all over. you will look as good as the minute you applied them, whether you are 20 or 60. Take it from an expert!!

NEW UPDATE 3/21/2013: I FOUND A NEW product called DHC Velvet Coat to keep makeup INCLUDING concealer in place. and OH.MY.GOODNESS. that product is an absolute MUST for every lady who wants her makeup to last all day or all evening, and not to crease because of wrinkles or expression lines. That Velvet Coat is literally like GLUE and holds on to every drop of makeup you apply. terrific! i actually received a brochure from them by mail and it contained a few samples including this one. it works better than Model in A Bottle and lasts longer.

I've tried a number of concealers and Dermablend Quick Fix is by far the best I have ever tried! It goes on smoothly and easily and completely conceals the blue veins I have under my thin skin that make it look like I have dark circles under my eyes. I have fairly light skin, so I use the ivory, but I just think this is great stuff for any skin. One tube has lasted me for over a year, so it's an affordable product that is a must in my makeup bag.

accepting the concept that "no product is perfect" this one is the best that i have tried. i have dark circles above & below my eyes & patchy dark skin pigmentation above my lip. This has to be my favorite tanning lotion for the smell alone! I got so many compliments and people asking what perfume I was wearing after I tanned! I love the smell of this lotion! It gave me great color too but I used in my early stages of tanning.

Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Cherry Me, 0.15 Ounce

I got five of these lip balms free from BzzAgent, and I tried them out for over a month before making up my mind about them. Here's what my final judgement is: These lip balms are nice, they feel good on your lips, they hydrate while you wear them, and the colors are surprisingly visible. They also don't seem to do what the package says, which is make your lips actually softer over the course of your use. Like I said, I used these for a while before posting this so that I could make a fair judgement, and I definitely don't think they soften or hydrate lips any better than any other lip balm. I normally use Burt's Bees honey lip balm and I feel like that does a better job keeping my lips hydrated over time. That being said, these lip balms smell nice and they leave a nice color, and they don't feel too sticky or oily. I also like that they are in a nice and easy twist up tube rather than a squeeze tube or a pot, it makes application easy. The peach lip balm smelled nice and had a nice peachy sparkle that was subtle but not too subtle. Definitely prettier than naked lips, and very easy to put on in a pinch for time. Overall, I'd say if you're not looking for something that is going to give you long term hydration, and you just want an easy, nice-feeling, pretty lip balm, then this is a great choice.

I was given one of these from a good friend.She gave me the Cherry Me.I thought it would be either bright red lipstick color ornot show up at all on my lips.It was a mixture. It gave my lips a subtle cherry-kissed shine that just made my lips look a little rosier.Even after it does rub off, my lips feel amazingly soft and hydrated.I have had this for roughly a week and used it every day at least once a day, and it did work and though the differences are minor,I do see them. Before my lips were a dusty rose color with a lot of lines and creases, even when hydrated.And now, they are a peachy pink, fuller, and a little softer.

Given the time and multiple daily uses, it will more than likely work and theimprovements become more visible.Now I can't wait to try the others!

I love this brand, I never tried it before until I bought this and the berry punch lip balm. It makes my lips soft and I personally only like fruity lip balms and lipsticks so this is perfect for me. It makes my lips the perfect tint without that lipstick look.

I received all five varieties of Baby Lips Lip Balm from BzzAgent to give a try. I did not specifically try the cherry (I was afraid the tint would be too dark) but I did try the others.

Like the previous reviewer, I like the Baby Lips Lip Balm for the smooth feeling it gives when applied. I like that they instantly make my lips feel hydrated (especially the "Quench" variety). The first time I used the lip balm, I was shocked at how "kissable" and soft my lips felt right away. I also found, like the previous poster, that after the balm fades (and it is not particularly long lasting) in or is rubbed away,my lips no longer felt soft and smooth. I did not notice a softening over time either, though perhaps with daily continual use it would be possible.

I also am fond of the balm colors. Quench and Hydrate are completely clear, which is nice if you want a very natural look. In the tube, strawberry is bright pink, and it does show up as bright pink when applied. I'm not a huge fan of brighter colors on my lips so I use this one rarely. Because of the brightness of the pink, I never tried Cherry, but I believe it would be the same. My very favorite Baby Lips Lip Balm was Peach. In the tube it is a creamy, slightly shimmery dark peach color. On my lips, it is a beautiful dewey hue giving my mouth look a beautiful natural color that somehow still draws attention. It is the perfect shade for my complexion.

Overall, I like the Lip Balms rather than using a heavy lipstick or a sticky lip gloss. I would recommend this brand.

I'm a huge fan of the BabyLips line. The balm is super moisturizing and on the thicker side. The color is a sheer pink/red and looks great on medium skin tones. I'm not a huge fan of the smell (it smells like cherry kool-aid or makeup for little girls), but other than that, it's great!

I like how this one has SPF in a convenient tube for travel. The product itself is moisturizing and a little dab goes a long way. The consistency is thicker than your average lotion so when applying, it might take some time for you to massage it into your face. That was the only thing I did not like about the product.

2010 Caribbean Gold Ice Princess Cool Bronzer Tanning Lotion 8.5 oz.

I have been trying different tanning lotions since the brand I was using is no longer available. I have tried 3 different ones to get the same results as "All Jacked Up" and this has been the closest thus far.
