I like the fact that it gets absorbed easily on skin and has no oil compared to those in lotion type sunblock. But like most sunblocks, it leaves a shiny look on skin, i was thinking that since this is a gel based product, it will give off a matte finish, but it doesn't. Shipping is quick and the product is as described.

I have to give 3 stars but the pros and cons are something to consider: PROs: It does prevent sunburn when applied properly and does have a pretty good level of waterproofness BUT I experienced these CONS:1. It has weird tendency to cause your skin to exfoliate after applying. I used it this morning, (applied 30 minutes before going out) and while out on the boat and after sweating a little, (this stuff has a melting consistency)so i kept rubbing it back into my skin and I noticed dead skin starting to roll off.I guess if you want to exfoliate your skin this might be a good thing, but I find it weird, NOT SEXY andaggravating.2. It causes your skin to shine from the minute you apply. 3. It never really really sinks in and disappears.4. DO NOT use on face or forehead as it does migrate into your eyes after sweating.*I found this out the hard way going down the interstate doing 65mpg and having to pull over and douse my face with bottled water,( I was rendered blind until I could get it off.) Wash your hands well after applying to avoid irritation to eyes.

Every year when I go to Destin Florida for a week vacation I always purchase Bull Frog Quik Gel.Every year I am amazed that I can apply this stuff ONCE in the morning and it will last 8 hours easily.I am extremely active on the beach competitive volleyball, swimming in the ocean, and of course relaxing in the sun.

I ordered 4 bottles because previous reviewers indicated that it takes a lot to cover themselves.I was on the beach 7 days, applied to my whole body (aside from face) and I'm 6' 2" I didn't even go through ONE bottle!!If you are using this up quickly then you are not applying sunscreen correctly!

It is QUICK DRYING GEL, so take a small amount and *quickly* rub it on (seriously, like 10 seconds or less!).It is NOT like ordinary suncreens where you have to rub for 5 minutes to get it to absorb and dry.If you rub too much it will indeed begin to flake off.

Yes, this does leave you glistening a bit.Because I walk to the beach shirtless and stay that way all day it never bothered me at all.But I probably wouldn't apply this stuff and then put on a nice shirt (but who wears nice shirts to the beach with sunscreen anyway?)

All in all this is the perfect sunscreen for beach or lake users!

*Note* I do NOT use this on my face (I have sensitive skin/can be acne prone).I used Bullfrog Ultimate Sheer Protection Sunblock Face Spf 30, which I also reviewed...AWESOME!

I've tried the Neutragena sunscreen, Coppertone Sport spray sunscreen, and the generic Rite Aid pump sunscreen.I like Neutragena's the best because the spray is controlled, the smell isn't too strong, and I like the cooling sensation when applied.The only negatives are that it does still smell (I highly recommend applying it outdoors) and it recommends applying at least 15 minutes before going outside.

The Coppertone sport sprayed all over the place and had a very strong smell.Because the spray was not well controlled, it didn't last long at all.It only lasted about a week of applying it every day, while the Neutragena has lasted much longer.The Rite Aid pump spray is good too because it's easy to control the amount of sunscreen that comes out, but it has to be upright to spray, so it can be a little hard to apply.

Overall the Neutrogena sunblock is very good.I found it at Target for just $8-9 though much cheaper than on Amazon!

I disagree with the comment that this spray does not have a strong smell. It's not quite perfume, but compared to some "traditional" sunscreen lotions, it has a very strong floral scent.

Scent aside, this product made me break out in hives everywhere that I used it (arms, neck, shoulders, back). Obviously, I used the product only once, and then gave the remainder to a friend.

I like other Neutrogena products, including some of their other "spray" (though non-aerosol) products like the Sunless Tanning Spray, but I would strongly *not* recommend this product to anyone with 1) chemical/fragrance sentitivities or allergies (or with family/friends with such sensitivities) or 2) sensitive skin.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Under Eye Line-Minimizing & Tone-Enhancing Concealer .05 fl oz (1.5 ml)

I've used this concealer for over 2 years and it is one the best ever. I have severe dark circle and dry 40+ skin, so I have to have superior coverage with anti-aging moisturizers/treatments. This concealer covers better than most and is the only one that actually does seem to make the skin under my eyes look better. All other concealers are either drying or just settle in the lines and make me look older or they just don't cover the circles. The only negatives I have to say about it is that the color that matches my skin tone best (193 Light/med) is a little too neutral, I wish it were a little rosier/pinker -AND the amount you get in this little tube is very small and if you use it every day (like me) you will go through it very quickly.

Alsothe reason I ordered it off amazon is that all the drugstores and Ulta stopped selling it and I guess Loreal is making changes to the Visible lift line and have not put out the newest "improved" version yet. My experience has been that when a company makes changes to a product I love and state that it is now "new and improved" it suddenly sucks, and I usually have to find a new product. So I hope I am just being cynical and it turns out to at least be as good as it always has been, we will see...in the meantime I hope to continue finding it on Amazon!

This concealer works as well on my thirteen year old daughter as it does on my dry, older skin (45+). I like it almost as well as YSL's Touche Eclat and it's a fraction of the cost. Goes on sheer so you can layer as necessary. Does not cake or rub off unless you are trying to do so. Unfortunately L'Oreal seem to be reformulating it (hope they don't screw up a good thing) so it's currently almost impossible to find on the shelf. Amazon has, it, thank goodness. Buy while you can.

This concealer really covers. The fluid is lightweight and easy to spread. Usually those kinds do not cover well but this one does. I am light with not good skin.I have tried many others, drugstore and dept store brands, and this one works just as well or better than the expensive ones. I have been using the OLAY PRO-X DEEP WRINKLE TREATMENT as part of the three-piece protocol package for approximately a month. I probably should have given up on this particular part of the treatment a lot sooner, but held out with hope that I would adjust to this lotion with time.

I do not consider myself to be someone with particularly sensitive skin, though I have had occasional reactions to very few products. In this case, the Deep Wrinkle Treatment caused slight redness and puffiness with little itchy bumps particularly in the undereye/crows feet area. It seemed to actually dry the area and cause irritation, rather than provide any real wrinkle improvement. It certainly did not moisturize in my case.

I do like the other products in the three-piece protocol (you can check out my review of that whole system for further information if you are considering the whole package or information on the individual PRO-X REPAIR LOTION SPF 30 or PRO-X WRINKLE SMOOTHING CREAM which are the other two components).

The WRINKLE TREATMENT simply did not work for me and I had to give up the trial after month because my skin was just too irritated by it. It did not produce any fabulous results, either, so it is certainly not for me. Will it be successful for you? Possibly, if your complexion can tolerate it. My only warning would be to be cautious if you react easily to certain cosmetics or have dry skin.

Me, I am still searching for the right stuff!

I have used every Pro X product minus the eye cream and this by far is the best product in the line. I had the worst laugh lines (hey I laugh a lot what can I say lol) and they have diminished by at least 70%, I also use it on my 11 lines between my eyes and my forehead. I no longer have the 11 lines and my forehead looks much better. I don't recommend it around the eyes it was quite drying, it specifically says to not use it on the lids. To be honest using vaseline on your face at night before you go to bed works better then any moisturizer I ever used. I used this on my lines and then cover my face with vaseline mixed with a little water. Amazing. And no you dont break out from it, I have oily skin and I have no problem. Better thenthe HydraFirming Cream or any of the Regenerist line (which I used faithfully night and day for 5 years). Pro X Wrinkle Treatment is worth is but to really see a plump full face I am telling you vaseline at night does the trick.

I love this Pro X Deep Wrinkle Treatment. I use it on my laugh lines and my forehead lines, my laugh lines are almost gone in about a months time. Honestly its quite amazing. I have been using the Deep Wrinkle starter kit and to me this is the stand out product in that kit. No scent, a nice soft texture and a little bit goes a long way. My wife and I both like this sunscreen so far it is the best we have found, but it is still not perfect as it is a bit greasy.That being said, it is MUCH less greasy than most other sunscreens.

My only concern is the nanoparticles used in this sunscreen (and others).Since there are no long-term safety studies performed on nanoparticles, we are a bit concerned that the nanoparticles will be absorbed through our skin and accumulate in our organs (as the studies suggest they do) and cause problems later on.

My dermatologist recommended this stuff.She says that true sun blocks contain zinc-oxide or "z-cote".I have a skin condition called melasma that is aggravated by sun exposure.I especially have to protect my face.This is the only sun screen that doesn't feel oily and does sting when I put it on.I think you get a lot for the price.I will continue to buy this stuff as long as they make it.

Most aspects of this sunblock deserve 5 stars.The texture is amazing, silky.If I have exfoliated recently, it's invisible after being rubbed in.Doesn't burn my eyes.Effective sun protection.Best of all, I haven't had a breakout all summer--even the times I left it on overnight.

That's pretty good, right?Ah, but if your skin has dry or flaky patches, you'll need a system.I've never used a moisturizer that doesn't break me out, so I didn't try adding a lotion, but some people have luck with that pairing.Otherwise, exfoliating first solves the problem, but who wants to exfoliate several times a week?

Getting it off is a pain.Products strong enough to remove it are too harsh, and I ended up with cracked, peeling face, mid-winter style.(Hence going 2 days before washing it off.)Here's what works for me: I use coconut oil, rub it in.This dissolves the sunblock.Then I wash my face with tea tree oil wash (Body Shop) to remove the coconut oil, rinsing as quickly as possible so that I don't totally kill my skin.Yes, coconut oil is supposed to be highly comedogenic, but I haven't had a breakout, like I said.I use Parachute oil from the local Indian grocer as that's what I had on hand for pre-shampoo deep conditioning.

So while it's not perfect, it's the only effective sunblock that hasn't broken me out.If I find something better for the face, I'll still use this on the body.Just hope that nanoparticle cancer thing isn't a thing after all.

Covergirl Natureluxe Gloss Balm

I purchased this item in Thistle and Tulip and absolutely love this product and the color.

This lip color is categorized as a gloss balm and that is exactly how it feels.

It applies like a balm but has a nice texture when applied and slight shimmer/sheen to it.The color is not heavy at all (it is more of a tint) and seems to last about as long as other tinted balms if you are not eating or drinking.It is definitely lighter than a regular lipstick and isn't waxy like some lipsticks can be.It also isn't greasy or sticky like a gloss can be.

The scent is very nice and there is virtually no taste to this product which is a plus.Even better it has an SPF15 (which also means there is an expiration date) which makes it perfect for daily wear.

I also don't find it drying like some balms (tinted or not) can sometimes become after application.

This winter has been tough on my skin and lips and this product really seems to help protect my lips.Since starting to use it in place of my usual lipstick and gloss I noticed my lips were not as chapped.

I love this lip balm. It's smooth, long lasting and just all around lovely. I think it's the perfect cross between a lip balm and a lipstick.

I bought the sandstone color and was hoping for a more nude-pink shade; it's actually really pink. I was expecting a more smooth glide and application of it on my lips, but it goes on kind of chunky and dense. Even when I rub my lips together, it feels kind of chunky. It doesn't last throughout the day, which was unfortunate. I've tried so many lip glosses and balms (hoping to find the perfect glide and smoothness), so far the Cover Girl Wetslicks have done a great job.

No7 Soft & Sheer Tinted Moisturizer SPF15 Medium

After searching all over for a foundation that doesn't make me look orange or cakey, I'd pretty much given up.I'm fairly pale, but most things made for "fair" skin are still too dark for me, but I also don't want something that's going to make me look even whiter. All I really want is something natural-looking to even out my skin.So I decided to give this tinted moisturizer a shot.It's exactly what I needed!It blends incredibly well without streaking and obvious lines.It evens out my skin and hides red tones without looking caked on.This gives me a healthy glow, but still doesn't look obvious and mismatched against the rest of my skin and coloring.

I was using Aveeno's tinted moisturizer until I found this one. The Boots product blends better, it is easier to get out of the bottle, and it doesn't smell like 80s Pert Plus. Also, the Aveeno would look weird on my skin and you could identify blemishes. Boots Tinted Moisturizer gives better coverage and feels more moisturizing.

A note on the colors: I am usually a Medium, but the Boots Medium is darker than most brands. I had to use the Fair / Light.

I bought the "medium" shade last summer (at target) which was a good match for me as I had a bit of a tan.It's now winter, so I just purchased the "fair" shade and like it as well has a bit of warmth to it, but not orangey.I do have several age spots on my cheeks ... this product doesn't cover them up, but they are a bit less noticeable.I like this foundation as it has more of a natural look to it ... not cakey and fake looking, it seems to absorb into the skin as apposed to just sitting ontop.The only note of caution is, as one other reviewer mentioned, that the tube tends to dispense a bit too much when you squeeze it, and you'll get a nicer result with less product.One more note ... the Boots "high lights illuminating lotion" is a great product as well to add a touch of glow to your cheekbones.

Too often, makeup looks cakey or has a color that doesn't compliment you, much less look natural! When I wear this, I get compliments like "You look radiant today" or "You're glowing, what's his name?"

I love the fact that I can even my skin tone out a bit and still look truly natural with this product. It has sunscreen too which is a big plus

My only beef with this is that when you are half done with it, it's hard not to squeeze out extra, which gets pretty wasteful toward the end of it

The sample is small (product was exactly as described) but large enough test out the product! I use 1 drop to about a pea sized amount of Dermalogica Intensive Moisturizer. It blends well and seems to provide great sunscreen protection. It's still kind of cold out, thus I'll really won't get a chance to put this to an ultimate test until spring / summer approaches.

I'm still on the fence whether I like the booster or the tinted moisturizer better. I seem to get more of a matte makeup finished look with the tinted moisturizer vs. the moisturizer/booster combo doesn't really give me that matte look. Instead, it actually leaves me a little shiny if I mix too much booster in my lotion I don't prefer this look.

I bought this lotion and used it for my base tan in a tanning bed and I gotta tell you this one does the job. I am white girl and I don't tan that easy, it usually starts with burn haha. Using this lotion for about 4 sessions of 10 minutes each, it gave me nice light brown tan I wanted. I never burned and lotion goes on skin very smoothly.

I am fair skinned and sensitive and have ALWAYS purchased high quality, top of the line salon products. Getting tan has been a challenge for me. I ordered designer Skin Luminary online because of all the great things I have heard about it. I picked up a bottle of this to tide me over until my order arrived... AMAZING RESULTS!!!! Best ever! The real proof though is in the ingredients. It contains all of the essential ingredients needed in an indoor tanning lotion and ingredients that are contained in the higher end products. Key ingredients are Tyrosine, Riboflavin, Aloe, cocoa butter, Vit A,E, Collagen, phospolipids.The ingredients are what get you tan. Beyond that, most companies work really hard to make a fancy bottle and it's all about the marketing. This product is in a rather ugly bottle but that is probably how they can afford to sell it so cheap!!! In addition I usually dry out in the tanning bed and my husband has commented on how soft and velvety my skin feels. This lotion is a bit thicker and needs to be rubbed in more but I also think that makes it go further. Salon owners do not want you to know about this stuff or they will lose money!!! Try it what can it hurt! :)

Ok, I'll admit to a bit of bias since I am from the same place where Doc Martin's is made, but after many years of living under the Hawaiian sun and spending several hours each day working outside and/or playing in the ocean, I absolutely swear by this stuff.I put about a dime-size squeeze on my face and ears before a long surf or paddle session and it does the job for hours without wearing off.The "6-hour protection" claim is definitely legit.Plus, it doesn't give you a "whiteface" that is hard to wash off like some of the other, more well-known, more expansive brands like Vertra.Doc Martin's seems to wash off fine at the end of the day, and doesn't leave me with clogged pores like some of the cheaper face protectants.

Also, it is a great value if used on just on the face and ears a tube will last me a couple or three months w/ daily usage.If you use for the entire body you might run through a tube pretty quick, but hey it's a small price to pay to protect your skin from the ravages of the sun!

Doc Martin's is a fantastic product, I swear by it and so do several of my friends.

This is the best sun screen in the market. If you are a waterman or spend lots of time in the sun this the best product made.

Made by a dermatology Dr who is also a waterman. Does not burn you eyes. Since I have used this product my derm appointments fir skin treatments have reduced enormously.

My skin is fair and I never burn using this product. I can also use Doc Martins of Maui on my face. I realize it is expensive but worth every penny.Make sure when you put in on to place a small amount on your hands, then rub your hands together to soften to a gel like consistency and then apply on your skin.

Great product.I have ran 42 marathons and this is the only sunscreen that I have found that I don't have to re-apply during a run.It also doesn't mix with my sweat and burn my eyes.

If you are gonna spend time in the sun, I would say ignore the price and get this.Super easy to put on, you don't have to rub it in, it is not greasy or sticky, it works great for the kids (should cover eyes as always), and really all that matters is I don't get burnt when I wear it.Surfing, hiking, playing with the kids at the beach, it doesn't matter I have never gotten burnt when I put it on.

My bro in law had some of the super nice bullfrog spray the other day before surfing, i tried it.Not the same, felt like I was putting on a sticky film that dried up strangely.Not bad though, just not the same.Kinesys, like I said, is hands down the best I've ever used.

This sunscreen is highly rated by the EWG (Environmental working group) as being one of the safer sunscreens on the market. Plus, it's an easy pump spray and it isn't greasy or oily like other brands I've tried. It absorbs easily, and is a good sunscreen overall. I will definitely purchase again!

I buy this because it's one of the few sunscreens I could find that was scored overall well (3 on a scale of 10, with lower being better) on EWG's sunscreen guide and still has most of the things I'm looking for: it's non-comedogenic, it doesn't have any micronized zinc or titanium dioxide, it doesn't leave any sort of white film (I have olive-tan skin so whiteness doesn't blend in well on me), it's light and easy to spread, and it has a nice sheen to it that makes my skin look really nice :). it could be less expensive, more effective (according to EWG, only provides "good" uvb and "moderate" uva protection, rather than "excellent" for both and i can tell that i tan more easily than i have with other sunscreens i've used) and have a lower rated health concern by EWG (currently "moderate" rather than "low"), but i've tried a bunch of other sunscreens and based on the things I'm looking for, this is the best i've found and I'm pretty happy with it.helpful hint: in order to avoid wasting the amount of product that sprays out to the sides a bit, spray on a cupped hand and spread from there rather than spraying directly onto ur body

I loved this sunscreen. I researched sunscreens and the ingredients in sunscreens for a couple months as I have a photo allergic reaction to all of the mainstream sunscreens sold in drugstores. After wearing this for 6 days on the beach in NC with sunny 95 degree days, I did not get burned at all and even better I did not get an allergic reaction. AMBI Fade Cream Oily Skin - 2 oz

Alot of beauty products have all these "outrageous claims" that they can do this and do that but finally I found one that did just what it claimed to do. My daughter recommened this product to me after using it, being African American , alot of products just don't meet our specific skin care needs. I have alot of acne scarring (at age 53) and just thought I'd have to live with it , but after using this product for 3 weeks , I did notice some dramatic lightening in the scarring.
