I was leary of a DEET-free mosquito repellant expecting very little. However, the convenient combination of sunblock and bug repellant was attractive enough to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! Took this on a week-long camping trip by lakes, streams and plenty of mosquitoes. My kids found it easy to apply, non-greasy and without a nasty odor. I liked that the aerosol can was not "drippy" (as with some of the others). This worked great to give everyone a quick spray in the AM and throw the can in our packs for later re-application. Also seems to last well, being relatively waterproof. It worked well no sunburns and very few mosquito bites (which were probably a result of human failure to spray). I just wish it was a little cheaper to buy I'm going to stock up!

I use a petroleum jelly mix twice a day for extremely dry skin. I took a chance that the Body Buddy could handle something thicker than lotion.
The mix needs to be spread evenly and thinly. It really does a great job because my back is not all sticky with petroleum jelly after applying, yet I can still feel the mix. The glob of jelly that I put on the Buddy gets spread evenly and thinly. You can feel when all of the material has been transferred because you get a little more resistance from the Buddy on your skin.
What really impresses me though is the fact that the jelly does not stay on the Body Buddy. It transfers to the skin with nothing left on the Buddy. I wipe it clean with one tissue and fold it up.

I read rave reviews about this stuff and was eager to try it on a recent trip to Hawaii. As a bit of background, we regularly travel to tropical locations such as Hawaii, Florida, and Fiji. I have not had a burn in years due to the generous application of sunscreen. On our recent trip to the Islands, both my partner and I got absolutely fried using Sun Stuff. We applied it so liberally and frequently (at least once per hour) that we looked like ghosts because we were in and out of the water. After the first day we went to Long's and bought Ocean Potion, a regular old cheapo sunscreen. Worked like a charm. After we got back I e-mailed Purple Prairie about this and I got a very smug and indifferent response that supposed that I had mis-applied it (hadn't) or was on a medication that made me very sun-sensitive (wasn't). Needless to say I will never buy anything from this company again (wasted forty bucks on two big bottles of Sun Stuff) and I am warning everyone I know about this product. Maybe it works in Minnesota, but it can't protect from tropical sun AT ALL!!!
I purchased mine directly from the Purple Prairie website and mailed it back for a refund. Even worse than this product is the company's return policy.*** BUYER BEWARE WARNING if you buy from Purple Prairie directly *** They claim that shipping is free for orders over $40, but that's only if you keep the product!If you return it, they deduct the shipping charges from your refund!They took $10 from me because I didn't like their product and returned it.That is just a rotten way to treat your customers.It makes me think they must get a lot of returns if they needed to make a policy like that.Because of this, I won't be buying anything else from them because if I don't like it and return it, they will punish me for it.

After looking for a natural sunscreen that just contained zinc oxide, I decided to buy this one. It comes out in a thicker texture but not too thick. One has to rub this sunscreen on in order to avoid white streaks and the sunscreen does have a slightly tacky feel compared to other 'dry touch' sunscreens, i.e. one will notice that one is wearing sunscreen. Overall, the sunscreen seems to work, and neither myself nor my daughter have gotten burned. It has a a very slight fragrance that one will notice if putting it on the face (sort of coconuty) but not if one is putting it on the body. I don't use this if we're going in the water as it doesn't quite seem waterpoof but for everyday use, it does the trick. I like that the product doesn't contain harmful chemicals and is almost odorless, but it still leaves too much of a white residue for me. Over the past few years I've become a safe product junkie. The EWG Skin Deep Cosmetics Database is my primary resource for information regarding products and their ingredients. It is through EWG that I came upon Purple Prairie's SunStuff SPF 30. This product is safe (it received a 1 rating from EWG, 0 being best) and works at protecting my very fair skin. I use it daily on my face and chest. I have yet to receive a sunburn, even during my long runs in the outdoors. The product is not greasy and has a mild scent (it smells like what you would expect a sunscreen to smell like). However, I don't know how well this product would work for darker complected people. It does leave a ghostly hue on the skin if not rubbed in well, but I found that mixing a few drops of argan oil into the sunscreen works very well at making it easier to apply.

I purchased this after hearing rave reviews about Arbonne's other products. The other products I purchased were amazing but this moisturizer while being good isn't the best. It is pricey when purhcased directly from an Arbonne rep.I compare it to Oil of Olay's Regenerist (dark red jar) and it is almost as good but not quite. Olay's keep my fine lines away for a bit longer than Arbonne. If you can afford it try Glymed's PLUS INTENSE PEPTIDE SKIN RECOVERY which is amazing but closer to $100.Pros:

I am in my mid-40's and have combination skin. I generally don't have acne or trouble with my skin. I bought this as a result of some recent published reviews on organic sunscreens.It was rated well and I liked the thought of the ingredients being organic since it was going on my baby's skin.But I found a number of issues: 1) Not all the ingredients are organic.2) Although there is no added fragrance, it has a STRONG cocoa butter smell to it which I don't find appealing.3) It was thick and a hard to apply evenly to a squirming seven month old.4)After being out in only high 70's heat for 15 minutes, the cream was puddling up in the creases of my daughter's little arms.5) After having it on *my* face for 15 minutes I wanted to wash it off I felt so oily.And finally, the next morning after our 30 minute outing with the sunscreen on her face and a hat on her head, my daughter had freckles across her cheeks where before there were none.Therefore I do not recommend it.
Highly rated for UVA A/B protection, reasonably priced (similar products sell for 3-4 times as much) and does not use oxybenzone or Vitamin A (FDA has stated increased risk of skin cancer from use of vitamin A which makes its use in sunscreens highly unethical even for US cosmetics companies).
Other brands I have used were more readily absorbed but that is not in itself a good thing. Next time I go to Europe I will stock up on the products available there that are safer and up to 5 times more effective at providing UV A/B than the ingredients used in the sunscreen products sold in the USA.

If you're an active person and tend to find yourself outside (whether planned or on the random) these are you for. I pretty much ordered them to ensure that regardless of what bag I grab (swim bag, one of my backpacks, work bag, etc.) that I have some sunblock that'll save my face (namely my nose) from getting burned. Too many times I've been caught outside no one I'm with has sunblock and sure enough, the next day my nose is bright red.While it says it's clear zinc there's definitely a light white residue when it's applied. You can rub it in pretty well too the point that I shouldn't even bring it up...Anyway, the stuff is great and provides robust protection. I've used it for long swim workouts and during a few triathlon races. It'll last for hours regardless of the activity and you don't need to worry about reapplication.
I bought this product because it claimed to be "paraben and oxybenzone free"...this is not the case. Propylparaben is clearly labelled in the inactive ingredients. Very irritated by the false advertising.

I really love this stuff.It's light (not liquid foundation at all).In fact, it has such light coverage it's lighter than my BB creams.The finish is dewy and soft to the touch.It makes my skin feel really smooth to the touch, and shows off blush and highlighter really well.I bought this because foundations are so heavy, and I can't possibly wear them in the heat, it makes me feel sticky.This tinted moisturizer is an excellent alternative if you like to show your skin.
It may seem a bit expensive for just 1 oz of product, but you only need a little amount.This half size will probably last me 4-6 months.I have one thing I don't like: it's so full and packed in there, you barely have to squeeze the tube.I always keep an eye on it because I feel like it might explode if it gets too hot or something.

This is the best "makeup" that I have found, after buying many different brands over decades.It is natural looking with a dewy finish and somewhat transparent.I don't think the coverage is sufficient for major acne, but if your skin is already pretty good and just needs the skin tone evened out, a little additional color, and sun protection give this a try. I chose the color SAND because I wanted a hint of suntan (some yellow color). It is more expensive than most makeups, but my 1 oz tube lasts a few months applied to the face and neck daily. would not buy this again, i usually use intellishade which i will go back to, this felt much more like a liquid foundation to me and less like a tinted moisturizer
Dermalogica Ultra Sensitive Tint SPF 30 Sunscreens
I need to use translucent power after applying to reduce shine, but product works great.Arrived pretty quickly as well.
Two slight cons about the product is the tint is very light, almost not there. The product also makes my face look very shiny.I have to use a light powder veil over it when not using foundation to tone the shine down.
Over all it is a good product but not sure if I will be reordering.

I could see the product did not work on some of her friends who have bad complexion. This product nor any other ones would never work on them.
