Titanium Dioxide 23.3% Zinc Oxide 18.7% Ingredients: Mica, Silica, Talc, Bismuth Oxychloride, Boron Nitride, Aluminum Hydroxide, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Retinyl Palmitate (Va), Tocopheryl Acetate (Ve), Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vc), Sodium Dehydroacetate May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77891 77892 77899), Manganese Violet (CI 77742)
Good: in a sifter instead of a bristle-shedding brush tube like so many powder sunscreens, cheap (cheap enough that I see it's been added to add-ons in the week since I bought it), and easy to see if you've applied it, due to it being more tinted than advertised.
Bad: not even close to translucent, orange-ish and too dark for my NW15 skin, and the inactive ingredients include Vitamin A, which some recent studies indicate may be counterproductive in sunscreen. Goes on shiny (bismuth and boron, I believe, are to blame for that).this is a great product, very affordable hard to find, powder with sunscreen so im very happy with this powder,it sheer so most people can wear it.will order again for sure.good seller.thank you.

Doesn't keep face matte for long. Color is off too. Does not clog my pores though. Would not buy again.Olay Definity Neck and Chest Daily Restoration Treatment, 1.7 Ounce
Note 8/23/09:After several weeks using this product, my chest began to break out badly. My skincare professional believes that the product contains silicone derivatives (note anything in the ingredients ending in "-one" and there are several) which make the product silky, but will also clog pores.I've discontinued use and have had no more problems.Wish I could change the number of stars on my review, but Amazon won't let me.
()Years ago I was a sales rep for cosmetical ingredients. Meaning that I worked with major companies to bid on what was in their products to sell them and learned many things about them. I worked for no cosmetic company butsold the ingredients they needed to them from a broker who supplied them in large quantities.
Some things are fairly interesting...like the companies who put an inert and non-working ingredient into their products that tingle because we equate "tingling" with doing something. Or those who use cheaper ingredients that are mostly fillers. Or water as the first and primary ingredient. I learned much.
At that time I was always impressed with Olay as a company because, not only did they always seem to purchase quality ingredients and not use fillers as their main ingredients, but their cosmetic scientists seemed to always put whatever was the newest research into the products before others did and at a better price. Therefore, I've been using Olay for years but had never heard of this.
COMPANY INFO & CREDIBILITY:
As a consumer, I just turned 43. That changes everything, doesn't it? Unfortunately! The changes are...in my own aging. And that makes anti-aging products even more important. Because I still read up on what's out there in the market even though I no longer work in that field, I already knew the original facial Olay Regenerist and the Olay ProX actually did show better results in not only their own tests but many independant ones as well...even ones on the Today show that showed the changes in facial lines measured and photographed for a few weeks on the more expensive lotions and Olay.Google it for info. I'm sure it's all still floating around on the 'net.
I don't remember all lotions it was up against but I do know it beat out La Prarie's $650 moisturizer because we worked with them.
Okay, so knowing all that, and being a big fan of their face lotions, I was interested in trying out a neck and chest cream. To be honest, I put face cream on my neck already but if something is better suited, I'm game.
NEED FOR PRODUCT:
First, smart idea I think. We concentrate so much on our facial lines and moisturization and forget you can tell any woman's true age by her neck...even for actresses in Hollywood, a facelift doesnt' touch the neck wrinkles, right?:-)Always telling!! I would like to know more about why this is targeted to JUST the neck and chest and how it's different from facial procusts though.
WRINKLES:
It's hard for me to tell a major difference because I didn't apply this to just one side of my neck. I do have wrinkles on my neck (none on my chest) and I THINK there is some softening of these but the most dramatic difference I've seen is from the evening of skin tone and softness created by the product. I do think there was some softening of fine lines but that's a bit more scientific of a test than I can truly do on my own with the naked eye at this point.
EVENING OF SKIN TONE:
Yowza, it has started to ERASE age spots on my chest. Uneven skin tone comes with growin' old...I kinda want to use it on my face and see if it provides the same evening of skin tone. I've only been using this a few weeks and already seen this difference so, to me, this is a huge hit in advancements for those my age.
SKIN SENSITIVIY:
I have VERY sensitive skin. So much so that I refuse antibiotics because they make me break out like I'm going through a second puberty. I actually cannot wear LOTS of brands of lotions and sunscreens because of the sensitivity of my pores. However, I held my breath to see any ill effects...none at all. No breakouts or irritations.
PACKAGING: Too often facial and body products, even including some from Olay, require you to dip your finger into the product. I'm not a fan of this and avoid them. This causes bacterial spread from anything on your finger as they are never sterile. They can grow and contaminate products. So I love the pump the treatment comes in...pumps out just the right amount the FIRST time you pump it so you dont have to keep pumping...and prevents bacterial breakouts. Beautiful bottle with a swirl of both parts of the ingredients that combine together when you pump.
SCENT:
It's unscented. This is good...I have had a few Olay products that were way TOO scented florally and I like this new move they seem to, hopefully, be making in leaving them scent free. At least as far as the last few things I've tried. I hope it's a permanent move on their part as I hate to have my perfume compete. Just smells fresh and unscented.
FEEL:
smooth, easily rubbed in, not oily at all.
NEGATIVES: As no product is perfect, I don't like to leave any review without uncovering negatives. Although I am very happy with all aspects of the product I do agree with other reviewers who stated I want more info as to what I can fully expect to see with long-term use. Better labeling. Because this formula doesn't seem to be widely available yet, I would expect that this might very well be added to the product during the full launch? If not it should be.
CONCLUSION: I do feel that I will add this to my daily regimin of skin care and will probably also try it on my face for a few weeks since I liked the results on my neck and chest as it seems to be a good match for sensitive skin. Our neck and chest can often be forgotten in skincare and yet we show aging there often more quickly than our faces.

()First let me say that when the newsletter came out, this was the only product I could order... so I did. I then gave it to a good friend who has her own business for women, doing intensive beauty treatments. She readily agreed to evaluate this and it took her 8 weeks to do a full evaluation.
That said, she said that it does work... for a few hours. She added that it felt like a masque when it was on, washed off easily and the effects disappeared when it was washed off. At the end of 8 weeks there was no difference. She also stated it left a waxy feeling on her skin.
So there is the opinion of this product from someone way more qualified than me to give their opinion on it.

()I've used Olay Definity Neck & Chest Daily Restoration Treatment at night for a couple of weeks, and it doesn't seem to do much of anything, except make my neck and chest feel like they've been powdered. The directions/product information are not very specific, so I am uncertain how to use this product, and what it is supposed to do.This product has a faint chemical smell which I find pretty objectionable (rare for an Olay product). It clogs pores, as well, which is not a problem I have had on my neck and chest with other moisturizers.
I hoped, prior to using this product, that it would be a good moisturizer, at least, and possibly an anti-aging treatment for the neck/chest area.I haven't been as fastidious about using sunscreen on my neck and chest as I have been with facial sunscreen, and I'm starting to see some signs of aging.
I received this product free of charge as part of the Amazon Vine program. To help potential buyers, I like to reveal whether I would have purchased a product, and been pleased with my purchase, if it had not been given to me.I may have purchased this product if it had not been a Vine offering, but I would have been disappointed that I had.I am throwing the bottle away, and will not, of course, purchase it again.

()I didn't see much of a change in my skin's appearance.I used until the bottle was empty. It did like how it made my chest and neck soft and silky, but other than that it didn't improve the appearance of spots and dullness.I also found the first few times I used this product I broke out a little on my chest and neck. This isn't something I'd recommend to friends or family.
Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunblock Spray, 5 Ounce
First of all, it states to apply 15-30 minutes before exposure to the sun. Applying it at the beach, right before a child or whomever hits the water, gives you those 15 minutes to get burned before the sunblock has a chance to work. By then, because it hasn't 'set' into the skin, it is washed away in the waters, especially at the beach where the sandy water is often abrasive to skin.
So, when you don't wait that 15 minutes, the sunscreen never has time to set or settle onto the skin, and additionally, it gets washed away if a person jumps into water [which is highly reflective as well, sun damage is increased underwater because of this]
Additionally, when the child is done swimming, most of the sunscreen is toweled off, rubbed off, and sweat off. Directions clearly state that the sunscreen must be reapplied after sweating, swimming, toweling, and 'extended sun exposure' [likely, one half hour of continuous sun]
Technically there is no true waterproof sunscreen. I think the benefit of this sunscreen is that it does not dissolve in wet conditions, which is a benefit, but it can not protect you from the effect of what happens when skin is submerged for an hour in the water in the afternoon sun and then wiped off with a towel.
Consider this as well The ingredients in Helioplex and other UVA formulas are synthetic. They degrade once they hit the sunlight and air. UVA synthetic sunscreens are a great invention and they do wonders but because of their formulation, so when using them, care and caution should be taken into consideration. Once a synthetic is applied, the ingredients start to break down.
Natural formulated sunscreen like the white zinc oxide formulas work great to block UVB rays, which are the rays that burn your skin. Their shelf life is much longer and after its applied it stays in a stable condition and lasts much longer than the effects of synthetics but the drawbacks are that it can leave a whitish cast on the skin, it can be greasy or heavy, and also it does not protect you from those UVA rays, the most dangerous kind, which go deeper into your skin and are responsible for cancer.
So synthetics offer a better range of protection, but their formulas prevent them from being stable for longer periods of time like natural formulas are. When a synthetic formula is applied every hour, it has already lost most of it's potency and when the person does not wait those first 15-30 minutes for that initial application to set, most of the major sun damage is already done, and the rest is simply an addition to what will likely be a very bad burn that damages all the way down to the lower layers of the skin. It's like you're not even wearing sunscreen at all!
Spray sunscreen is different than lotion sunblock. Lotion is usually applied more carefully and rubbed in and layered in its application. You can see where lotion goes and you can see when it is rubbed in. Spray sunscreen is clear and because of this it is more difficult to see where it's been applied [especially on wet skin!]
Spray sunscreen is often simply sprayed onto the skin, many times it only covers a small area, and many times not enough block is put onto the skin. According to the directions it states that the spray should be applied slowly and evenly in a continuous motion until it is visible on the skin. So a light coating that covers yet is not clearly visible is not good enough.
A good rule of thumb is to spray and then rub each area, work from bottom to top. Spray block into your hand and then apply to the face and neck, and then do it again, from bottom to top working your way up again. This way the spray will have time to settle and you will be completely covered. Don't forget the tops of your hands, the tops of your feet, your neck, ears, hairline and your back.
They say that for lotion sunblock to be effective, it has to be applied in sufficient quantity. It is usually recommended that users spread on about a half a shotglass per half hour or so. For spray sunblock, Ive never really seen a quantity recommended, so i would say that a coating that covers from bottom to top twice is a very good application. This kind of application has kept the sun off my skin and i live in the southeast where its not uncommon to have 95 degree weather with high humidity for most of the year. im in the Sunshine State [florida] in fact and it makes me sad to see older people who walk the beach, their skin so leathery and dark and wrinkled from years of tanning...*shivers*
There are more factors working against you as well.
outdated sunscreenIf sunscreen has been left in a hot car day after day, do you expect for that formula to do any good when the heat has likely destroyed its chemical composition or changed it in such a way that it no longer provided adequate sun protection? Also, sunscreen that is kept for over a year is probably garbage as well. If you keep your sunscreen for that long then you just aren't using it the way it is meant to be used. My can of this sunscreen lasts me a month at the most, and that is application at least 3 times a week. Even though my can is dated for exactly one year later, I would use it up long before then.
Time of Day In some respects, what time of day you are out in the sun can determine how much sunscreen is needed. There is a greater need for proper and timely sunblock during the hottest part of the day when the sun's rays are their most intense from 12 3 PM. so if your children are in the water during the mid afternoon, they are exposed to the most rays possible. When our family went to the beach, we would go early in the morning and leave by 11am. My brother and I rarely ever got burns because the sun just wasn't as strong during the morning hours.
Other Environmental Conditions:
Children and certain skin types which are light, nordic or those with blonde or red hair are more prone to sun damage; their skin burns much faster and they take the most damage.
Certain medications like birth control, antibiotics, and even herbals like st. johns wort can also effect sensitivity to sunlight causing a person to burn very quickly to give you an idea, stepping outside without protection can burn a person's skin in under 5 minutes.
Some are predisposed to skin cancers. If it runs in your family you may be better off paying attention to your sunscreen habits as your risk may be higher simply because of genetic makeup.
Those who are not tanned in any way will of course burn faster until their skin gets color. Tanning is a natural response aimed at helping your skin to protect itself by providing a darker color to your skin, but the collateral damage is of course not just on the surface, its also below the skin as well where you can't see it.
Water magnifies the suns rays. While it feels nice and cool to be in the water in the summer, the sun is magnified and its easier to emerge with a burn much faster than if you had been standing on the land for the same amount of time. Additionally, a cloudy day affords you no protection.
Its entirely possible to emerge with a burn on a cloudy day. A semi to partly cloudy day is even worse especially when you think to yourself 'Gee, its not that bad, i won't be out there for long!' the cumulative effect of spending 3 hours out on the town shopping on a cloudy day could end up giving you sun damage in the equivalent of laying out in the sun, unprotected, for at least an hour.
So while spray spf can be more convenient, the upkeep on it is more than lotion block would be due to consistency and typical method of application.
I use this product and when it is used according to the label in conjunction with proper methods of dealing with the summer sun, then it should cause no problems.
Those who have very fair and sensitive skin should *always* opt for a lotion vs. a spray, simply because fair skin typically is more prone to burning, burns faster and causes more damage, so maximum protection is what is needed. This product and many other spray spf's on the market in general are rarely used according to their label instructions because many people treat it as if it were the same as lotion when it is not. Also, Fair skin and children's skin needs a higher degree of protection in general.
And no, im not a marketer, i do not work for neutrogena, i am not a paid blogger. I am into the goth scene so i have experimented widely with various lotions and sprays to keep my sensitive skin as light as possible for aesthetic reasons and also for health reasons as well.
Most sunscreens and sunblocks that I have tried have done what they are designed to do. Some are greasy, some are dry, some are more like lotions, some are easier to spread and others not so much. Some leave a whitish cast. So YMMV.
The benefit to this formula is that it is clear, it dries to a dry consistency, it does not have an annoying scent, its easy to apply, it does not burn my sensitive face skin like some sunscreens can [one brand left my upper lip on fire!] and most of all, it works. I also wear it under my makeup because even though my makeup has SPF in it, its never really enough to keep the sun out.
So overall, so far its one of the better spray sunscreens that ive used in the past few years. I suppose thata brand like neutrogena will have a loyal following, just like other brands [aveeno, etc] So consider that if you dont enjoy neturogena products or you have found that they haven't lived up to your quality in the past, then this product may not be for you. Pereceptions that are negative of a product will invariably make some users believe that the product is inferior when they try it as well simply due to preconceived expectations.
Also consider that this brand makes a formula for the face that dries quickly, comes in a tube, and is just as easy to use as the spray, and it works wonders for use on the body for its softening and conditioning effects. I like to alternate my spray with the use of their face sunscreen lotion.
There is something to be said for fair, beautiful clear skin it can look so nice! To maintain this porcelain look, I use products like this every day, at least 15 minutes before i head out the door. I have had great results from using it, but like any sunscreen, its important to reapply as often as possible so the effects aren't lost.
I purchased this product WITHOUT reading any reviews beforehand. I do this sometimes so that I can form my own opinion of the experience and then confirm it later on when i do read the reviews.I try to make my own shopping choices based on my needs and desires.
This product might be good for you as an adult, but i dont think that its made specifically for children. They have a children's formula but my take on the matter is that children shouldn't be using sprays because they are too active generally and they need to have it reapplied more often than a regular lotion sunscreeen. Children don't understand the need or value of sunscreen so its up to mom to take care of this.
Most of the damage thats done to our skin is done in our childhood something like 90% crazy high number but its generally true. By the time we are adults we have learned our lessons with sun exposure.I believe that some of the negative reviews may have not followed the directions. When I followed the directions exactly it worked perfectly. I burn rather easily, and this kept me from burning, and does as promised when applied to wet skin. The only complaint I would have is the fumes when applying the product indoors prior to going out into the sun, but that's to be expected from any aerosol product.

I have never written a review on a product before, but felt so strongly about this, that I had to.I have a 5 year old son that I am very good about putting sunscreen on when he is going to be out in the sun for prolonged periods of time.He has never had as much as a slight bit of color from the sun, EVER!!!I thought I would buy this new product because it seemed awesome that you could reapply while they were wet.Well, after using it this past Memorial Day weekend, I had to nurse a little boy with a bad sunburn all day on Monday. My friends and I used this on 3 children from ages 5-8, applying it 4 times between noon and 10 o'clock that night, and they all ended up with sunburns. I am not talking a little bit of sun, but major sunburns.I was so angry, and disappointed that I let this happen.I have thrown away this product, and will be telling all of my friends not to use it.

If you do NOT mind a bit of a strong citrus smell, this product will be fine for you. The smell will not last for too long, so that's a good thing since it was a bit strong for my taste. But the product itself is awesome. Made my face feel soft as a baby's butt. LOL.
I was looking for a change from my typical brand of after shave (which is L'Oreal Men's Expert Comfort Max). The only reason I wanted a change was because I was getting bored with the other.
My preference is to use an after shave that combines soothing with healthy moisturizing and sun block, with a light or non-existent scent.
Problems:
1) The product description says this has UAV and UAB sun block. When I received the product, I noticed this wasn't mentioned anywhere on the packaging or the container. Hmm. SO I'm not confident it actually has sun block.
2) The scent is a little heavy for my taste, but that's a personal preference. It's not offensive.
3) It doesn't do a very good job soothing my face after shaving. And I shave very easily. In fact, some days this just burns.
It's not worth returning, but I wouldn't order it again or recommend it to a friend.
Clarin Super Restorative Day Cream SPF 20
She usually buys her Clarins at Macy's and is a careful shopper waiting until there is a special offer to go along w/ her purchase, i.e. handbag, Clarins sample kit, scarf, etc. Following the advice of a friend, for the first time my wife purchased her Clarins online. We were surprised to see the large savings between the store bought price and the online cost. Forget the special gifts and give me the large savings thru Amazon hereafter.
I travel international a lot and usually purchase her Clarins at airport duty free shops. Again the Amazon online prices beat the duty free cost as well.
At 62 and a user at one time or the other of all the most popular and sometimes expensive rejuvenating/wrinkle/mature skin care products I thought I would try Clarin's day cream after a trip to London to visit my daughter and found out how popular the Clarin products were there.I am very happy with the results.I have some enlarged pores and of course some wrinkling and after using this cream for 30 days I am pleasantly surprised. The pores are definitely less visible and the wrinkles as well.Even my husband of 40 years noted the difference and after 40 years as you ladies will know husbands usually don't notice the small things.I guess I should note that I am also using Prescriptives Super Line Preventor Xtreme so maybe both products together are giving me the results but they are nonetheless great! Some days I just put on these two products my Smashbox makeup base, a bit of blush, lipstick and mascara and I'm off! Both of these products are expensive but you need very little.I use both the products in the morning and the evening.I have never had very dry skin so I don't need the heavier night creams.I wash with a basic face soap morning and evening as well. The facial scrubs have either been too harsh or too oily for me.If you are over 50 and want to splurge on yourself give both of these a try for 30 days and see what you think.Worked for me.

Anthony Sport for Men Hand Cream, 4 Ounce
I've only had this product for about a week now, but I must say it definitely does a better job than my department store bought hand lotion. The smell is a bit strong at first, though not bad (seems kinda citrus-y), but it wears off quickly. Keeps my hands soft and smooth for a good amount of time during the day before having to put more on as well.
The price may be a bit high if you are used to buying the big bottles of cheap lotion from the store, but you really don't have to use as much of this or use it as often in my opinion so it is a very solid product. It also provides much better performance in my opinion. I intend to purchase more of this product and continue using it.This product is way too thin, for a hand cream, so much that it even pours out of the bottle so you use way too much. The smell is also quite over powering.

Bought this after reading many recs to use zinc containing sunscreen. I was tired of the white 'Casper' look with other brands I've tried. I have found that sunscreen with both zinc and titanium will not rub in clear. While that offers the best protection it gets irritating since I'm pretty white as it is. This does contain oxybenzene which is thought to be something to stay away from but is the active ingredient in almost all store bought sunscreens. I think this is what makes it rub on clear which it does very well. I spent a week in the Caymans and used this only twice a day. It stayed on a very long time and I for once never got burnt! After returning from my trip I bought 4 more to stock up for the summer. Also bought the no tear version for kids. Easier to rub in and doesn't sting kids eyes as stated.Volumax Freeze Spray
This spray is for those who want a very firm hold.It also gives volume (my hair is shoulder length). It does not leave any kind of flaky film that some of the cheaper brands do.Nothing negative to say about Volumax Freezing Spray and just hope it does not one day disappear from the market as it's all I will use on my hair for at least the last 8 or 9 years.
When I want a freezing spray, this is what I use. It is just what it says, freezing spray. It works!

I discourage anyone ordering product from Cosmetic Solutions. I got a can of defective hair spray. Cosmetic Solutions would not respond to me or refund money. Luckily Amazon guarenteed my order and reimbursed me, but Cosmetic Solutions is a hoaz and rip off.I have been using this hairspray on my hair for years. It is not too sticky, doesn't have a bad smell that lingers like some hairsprays and holds my fine hair through humidity and wind without falling flat. It actually makes my hair feel thicker. It also doesn't build-up on the hair, which is great. I have tried others, but always come back to this one.I will use it always!!!!
