Avène Sunscreen Lotion Spf 50+ 100ml (High Protection)

Avene Lotion 50+ has both Tinosorb M and S (good!) but the blurb on the website doesn't mention it has fragrance (bad for some of us). Works well for me to prevent tanning, freckles and other pigment spots, but I'm not swimming or playing sports. Be aware that the lotion is thin enough to drip. Also, the Titanium Dioxide leaves a slight white film unless rubbed in.

I am very fair and this sunblock gets the job done! Just beware that if you are using it daily, this size tube will not last long

For the price, I would buy the spray, but if you don't like spray-able sunblock, this is the next best thing. They work equally as well, but this formulation is a bit thicker still easily spreadable, like any other sunblock. Don't get it in your eyes it's NOT tear free!

This sunscreen is at the top of the list of safest sunsceens. It is a physcial sunscreen rather than chemical so it doesn't absorb into the skin and cause issues in our old ages. I've been looking for a decent non-chemical sunscreen for my son and decided to try this one. It didn't dry out my skin, and it seemed to protect pretty well. We reapplied once and weren't swimming, but we did end about a 5 hour outside stint with only a tiny whisper of a tan. I might try searching out some other options though, because this one is quite expensive and hard to find.

Okay, I'm a little neurotic when it comes to sun protection for my toddler. I stress when I don't apply sunscreen and see the slightest tan, then I stress when I do apply it, worrying about all the "chemicals." I like CA Baby sunscreen...however, it's only SPF 30, and dermatologists recommend at least 50 for little ones. So I checked out the EWG's list of recommended sunscreens, narrowed the field to SPF 50 or higher, then looked for ones that had a rating of 1 (the best rating). There were only a few, so I checked out reviews on Amazon. One had bad reviews (too oily, etc.) and the other was soooo expensive. This one is pricy, but not comparatively, especially considering this is a 3 oz tube when some others are only about an ounce and a half.There were no reviews, so I took a chance and bought it. FANTASTIC! It smells wonderful, which I don't even care about. It goes on smooth and light, compared to other, more natural sunscreens. It rubs in well, without leaving you white asa ghost. You don't have to use half the tube to cover your child. And I don't hesitate to use it, considering it's one of the safest out there...plus has great UVA & UVB protection. Seriously, don't thing twice. It's the best.

i have a bad oily skin when i used this without a primer, it worked like a charm. I'm impressed that my eyelid didn't turn to oil pans! but when i applied a primer, my face didn't get oily but my eyes lid were back to the oil pans.

The lines I had showed up it seemed over night, after I turned 33. I've been through cancer as well, and that really did a number on my face. I looked tired, and I aged at least 5-7 years in a very short amount of time. I'm in my mid 30s now, and this stuff works instantly. It actually "plumps" up the skin, like it stimulates circulation or something, and the small lines are gone...seriously gone. It looks like I am well rested and younger. Never have I been able to write a review about a product that works. And I've used so many different things. Le Prairie..Obey..other Arden lines..as well as another French one I can't remember the name of. One even had gold in it..ppfft! But, each being really expensive, at least twice as much as this one.

Bottom line, when I smile, those lines don't show up. The effects of it last a little while, but eventually the lines will come back, although slightly more shallow from what I can tell. I've been out for about 2 months..so it did take a while. Now I'm back for more.

Needless to say I was impressed, and so far, this is the ONLY cream I've used that has ever given me this immediate result. I'm almost afraid of using it too often, because I don't want my skin to get used to it, and it stop working. A little goes a long way for me tho.

I know it differs from one person to the next, but nothing else worked for me.

I've only used this a week or so but can address some peoples' comments.A very little dab goes a very long way so don't slather on.It does seem a little greasy at first, especially if you overapply, but that disappears fairly quickly.THere is an initial fragrance or scent that isn't appealing (could be the product itself rather than an added one) but that also fades quickly.I have sensitive skin and try to avoid products with fragrance.The first day I used this, my skin felt puffy and my eyes were a little watery although I didn't put near eyes.That also passed and I've had no more problems.We'll see if it really makes me look younger but it is a good moisturizer.

my derm approved this for me. it's the ONLY sunscreen made for the face that works for me. every other formulation i have tried has really irritated my skin, especially in combination with makeup. not sure why. i have acne prone skin, and i have not had any problems with this giving me acne. i guess it just all depends on your skin, but it's also really important with sunscreen to remove it at the end of the day because any sunscreen will give you acne if you don't properly remove it (shiseido even makes a sunscreen remover). i've found that this prime liquid foundation the best, rather than just powder by itself. with powder alone, as with any primer, you can look a little overly-dewy. my makeup definitely lasts longer with this. the smell is a bit bug spray-like, but is much more subdued than most sunscreens which leave you smelling like the pool. you can definitely see the sunscreen on your face when you apply, but give it about 2 minutes before applying your makeup and it sinks in. i love this stuff!

I wanted a good primer and SPf sun screen to wear during day. I wear this alone or under my BB cream or foundation. It glides on smooth. Absorbs well and protect my skin. This was much cheaper than Chanel primer with SPF I was using. I am happy with purchase. Two in one, cant beat that.

My kids like a sunscreen stick on their faces so it doesn't run in their eyes.I've always used the Neutrogena for Babies stick until I started researching the various chemicals in sunscreens and decided to switch to an all natural one.I really like this one.It is a tan color so when you put it on it doesn't turn their faces white.It smells like oranges which for some reason the kids aren't crazy about but I like it.The protection has been perfect.

I bought this face stick because it has a high SPF, no vitamin A (which recently has been shown to accelerate cancer: , it is ranked highly by the environmental working group and does not contain nano-particles. All of these qualifications were hard to find in a sunscreen. And as an additional plus, it's also all natural, not tested on animals and made in the USA! When the stick arrived and I popped it open, I was pleasantly surprised. The stick is slightly tinted, so that when I applied it to my face it was the same color as my skin! Instead of a white sheen that most mineral sunscreens leave behind, this sunscreen was invisible! It also glided on smoothly, applying like a cream without waxy residue or the mess of a bottled sunscreen. It is great for swimming during the summer because it really is water resistant.

I read the product ingredients on the Amazon description and was excited to find a sunscreen product with so few ingredients. I was horrified when it arrived and I read the list of "Inactive Ingredients" the first three in the list: Alumina, Aluminum Hydroxide, Aluminum Stearate all Aluminum derivatives, all of which I avoid using , Aluminum can interfere with magnesium in the body and aluminum is also linked to Alzheimer's. I'll never buy this again and won't use the one I did buy. I am very annoyed to have paid a total of $12.79 for a product I won't use.

Murad Anti-Aging Acne Moisturizer SPF 20 Facial Treatment Products

What I don't like: this stuff smells like sunscreen, and since I'm using it before bed as well as in the morning, the scent is a little weird for a nighttime cream.

BUTI'm 43, and I've always had acne but it's getting worse. Really? Wrinkles AND worse acne? Sigh. I've tried all kinds of stuff, Clinique, Proactiv, stuff from the dermatologistnothing works.

This stuff, however, keeps my skin from being totally parched and alligator-like and does not clog my pores. It's not like this cream is my best choiceit's my ONLY choice. Glad I found it.

I love this product because it is the only SPF moisturizer that doesn't make me breakout. I am a 32 year old female and have fair and sensitive skin and usually can't wear any spf without having a major breakout. This product actually prevents breakouts even though it has spf in it! It's really great. The only down side is that it really doesn't do anything for your fine lines etc. I guess if it did it would be to good to be true. Hopefully someday there is something that does both.

My Sistina moisturizer is unavailable on Amazon so I searched around for something else and landed on this Murad product. It's pricy but I think I'm going to love it. It goes on very light (as opposed to being rich) but a little still goes a long way. And my face feels great afterward. My 50-ish, still-prone-to-breakout skin is looking good. It smells kind of medicinal, but that's the only downside.

great price for a really good day cream that addresses my sensitive, combo, some breaking out type of skin. i love that its spf 20!my skin really likes it.its a bit shy on moisture for the winter (southern calif winter), but i use a very moisturizing murad night cream (resurgence) & that keeps my skin happy.will buy again.

Hawaiian Blend Aloe Vera After Sun Lotion 8 oz

Was sunburned while in Maui recently and used this lotion....wow! Made the sunburn feel better and prevented peeling. The second ingredient listed is Aloe, which is good as many "after sun" lotions listing aloe actually have very little in it. Overall makes your skin feel good and I always want to have some on hand. LOVE this stuff!!! Will be ordering as I didn't grab an extra before I left Hawaii!

Neutrogena Spectrum and Sunblock (Pack of 2)

Due to vitiligo I burn real quick and anything under SPF 50 does little for me. Even wearing 65 I start to get red. Any ways, I am always on the quest for higher and higher SPF as I seem to get more sensitive as I get older. I saw this product and the Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunblock Lotion SPF 110. The 110 had a lot of perfume in it and as a guy I found this quite nauseating. The 100+ did not have much of a scent to it and also has full-spectrum UVA/UVB protection.

After my first application in the morning I noticed a difference when I walked outside. The usual "heat" I feel on my face from the sun was not there and I was not as red when I came into work. I actually missed a spot on my neck and you can see the difference and how effective it really is.

It goes on fairly easily and as stated in not oily. It is also not dry, either. There are some other sunblock products that leave an almost "plastic-coated" feeling on your face. As it is a Neutrogena product and it was designed for your face it also seems to moisturize every so slightly but not enough to feel slick. There is also no real noticeable "skin-sheen" either. This product is fairly neutral in these regards.

I have solar urticaria , and i was worried that the sun of miami beach damagemy skin , i get very red when i expose to the sun , but when i applied this product all over my body i have to say it is the best protection , i swam into the ocean and i expose my body to the beach and nothing happens to skin!

I admit I was a bit surprised to read the previous review regarding the scent. I actually went and applied some just to check it out again. To me, the scent is not that different than other Neutrogena sunscreen I have been using the last few years. It did not bother me and I am one of these people who have a strong sense of smell. I can detect my toddler's poopie diaper from across the room when people 3 feet from her do not.

Okay, not related to this product ....but I just have to add one scent that truly bothered me is the Philosophy's Hope in the Jar. Argghhh...the awful odor. Every time I put that on my face, I have to spray some perfume on.

About the product itself, I like the texture. It is not as heavy and greasy as some others that I had used. Glides on easy and absorbs into skin quickly.
