Product arrived quickly and in great condition. Will buy again. This sunscreen is great. The second best I've ever tried. The first one is Tizo3 by Solar Protection, which is like wearing nothing but high quality foundation, won't break you out, but for super pale people might not be indicated since it has some very nice tint not dark at all. For super pale people they offer Tizo2 or the Fallene Face Cotz SPF 40 -it is exactly the same thing, same manufacturer, but way cheaper-. Going back to this Proactiv SPF 30, it is light weight, super easy to apply, eliminates pimples, it does shine a bit and it will sting eyes if applied up to the eyelash line. The best thing about this sunscreen is it will eliminate break outs and it is totally transparent. However you will still have your sunscreen face. The only sunscreens that can give you medical grade protection and give you the look of a normal woman with light make up is Tizo3, or of a regular human being with no sunblock are Tizo2 and Fallene Face Cotz SPF 40.

This will not clog your pores.I use it every day on my face.Good investment for preventing skin cancer.

I am so grateful that Amazon carries this brand since I can't find it in stores anywhere!I bought a bottle a long time ago and it has lasted me for many years (not out in the sun an excessive amount) and when I was looking for more, I realized stores don't have it.

()We just took our fair, upstate NY skin to Florida and I have to say, this product worked faithfully.I used it all over, reapplying every 2 hours-ish and didn't get any overexposure.

It's a better zinc oxide than the old fashioned white paste.It does absorb into the skin leaving the faintest shimmer (instead of that ugly white like so many years ago).I like that there's no paba or other chemicals.I also liked that it said just how much time one could spend in the water before they needed to reapply.

()This is a very good zinc oxide type sunscreen. It goes on smoothly and rubs onto the skin quickly. I have looked over the active and inactive ingredients on the box and was unable to see any of the oxybenzone or retinyl palmitate that has raised concerns with some consumer groups. I know it is listed on the Amazon description of ingredients, but I could not find it listed on the box I received. If you know you do not like zinc oxide type sunscreens this may not be the product for you. I choose this type to limit my childrens exposure to the chemicals in other sunscreens. I would recomend this to others.

()I notice this does work much better than my usual 15 and 30 spf sun blocks. It's for those days when you or your family will be outdoors a lot. It doesn't go on heavy, but slightly heavier than you would probably want for under makeup. In that sense, it's no different from any other sunblock and probably a bit better. Doesn't clog pores. Very gentle. Pricey, but worth the protection.

My northern European skin is really white and at best I can get a light tan. Pureology Hydrate Shampoo

I'll admit it: what first sold me on Pureology products was the scent. I was having my hair styled, and the stylist used the product to wash my hair. It just smelled so clean and fresh that I was knocked over by sheer bliss! Then came the tingling, cooling, refreshing sensation spreading over my scalp. When my hair was finished being washed, it... well... felt CLEAN. It's a tough thing to describe, this feeling of "clean" because I had never really felt as though my hair was "unclean" after having washed it with other products, however, this was much different. My hair felt lighter and softer even while it was still wet!

Naturally, because I was in a salon, I expected the shampoo to be pricey and I wasn't at all wrong! But I felt like splurging, so I bought first the 10oz bottle, which was used by two people and still managed to last for almost 6 months. Why? Well because this shampoo is so concentrated that you honestly need to only use an amount about the size of a nickel and that's for long hair!

The conditioner didn't disappoint one iota, either. The same fresh feeling and clean scent dazzled me over that first six months and I felt my anxiety rise as the amount in the bottle became less and less.

Fortunately, our next purchase of this shampoo was at an outlet store, so we got some pretty impressive savings on the BIG bottle the 33.8oz as shown here, I believe. That has lasted us well over a year, again with two people using it. We're starting to run out, but we've still got enough to probably last another month or so.

Now to kind of put this into a frame of reference... I am kind of a cheapskate. (If by "kind of" you mean "definitely".) I've used Suave salon knock-off products because they fit in my target price-range. I've refused to buy Pantene in the past because it was too expensive. For me to shell out this kind of money on shampoo is unheard-of, and if my poor mother only knew, she'd probably faint.

That said... I firmly believe it's worth every single penny.

My hair has never been more manageable or healthy. I tend to have what I refer to as "NASCAR hair" meaning it gets bumps and ridges instead of any actual curl, and then those bumps and ridges separate out into entirely unattractive frizz-tastic flyaway split ends and generally projects this messy halo effect. With Pureology, I look infinitely more poised, polished, and presentable no small feat!

As an added bonus, I discovered in the shower one day that these products are vegan *and* not tested on animals! (Come on, you know you read in the shower too I'm not a weirdo...)

If you're at all reluctant about buying this shampoo, see if you can get your hands on some samples from somewhere. You're just not going to believe how awesome this stuff is until you use it. And you *should* use it.

Warning to fans of Pureology -the ingredients have changed dramatically since P & G purchased the company.The wonderful herbals are now way down on the list, and it's now harsh and smells like a cheaper product.It also takes more shampoo to get a lather. I know this because I keep a smaller old bottle to refill from the big size.I'm very disappointed to say: buyer beware.

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Spray, 6.7-Fluid Ounces Can

Over the past 6 months I have experimented with many brands. Kate Somerville wipes are the best, the Neutrogena spray is second, and Banana Boat (dark) is third. St. Tropez did not make my top 5 list. You will get results almost immediately, and the color will set in a few hours. However, the color is just a tad too orange-ish, and it easily builds up in creases (around the ankle, near toes, behind the knee) and it also builds up between my boobs.

I do approve of the fragrance. The other brands smell weird, and all my top three choices do not smell as nice as St. Tropez. So, if you're sensitive about weird self-tanner odors, and if you want an instant tan, St. Tropez would be a good choice if you're willing to put up with some build-up.

I love self tanners, but I hate that funky smell that you get when you use it. So I bought this because it claims to have some special ingredient that eliminates the self tanner stink. Although it is not as stinky as most self tanners it does still give you that self tanner odor. I'm pretty disappointed in that regard. On the other hand I do like the color. It is not as orange as other tanners I've tried (Neutrogena, Loreal and Mary Kay). I read a review that said the exact opposite: No smell and a little on the orange side. So I guess it's down to personal preference. Natural skin tone certainly is a factor in determining the color. I am naturally very fair, I don't burn terribly easily but I do have freckles. My mother is Welshso I have that lovely pasty, British "glow" (so white I almost "glow" in the dark). I'm not sure why I seem to detect a smell when some people don't. This is the first self tanning product I have used this summer so I know that applying this did not re-activate the scent from a preceeding product; like what happens when you put lotion on after using self tanner. It's definitely coming from this stuff.

Ok, I have mixed reviews about this product. While I loved the convenience of the 360 spray and the speed with which I could apply this to my entire body, I was disappointed with the intensity of the color. I am very fair and for me the use of tanning products is a must! I used the entire bottle in one application and the color was so subtle (but NOT orange!)I could barely tell that I used it. However, I did love the spray application (you barely have to blend it into your skin at all. (Use gloves to apply tanner making sure to moisturize knees, elbows, toes, ankles etc before starting. Lastly moisturize your fingernails and palms and spray the back of your hands) The spray made the process fast and easy. So if you are looking for some fast, subtle color I would recommend this product. Just make sure you use in a well ventilated area! The scent is very strong. (It smells like perfume initially and then wears off to a more subtle tanner scent) I myself will be going back to the original mousse or trying the new St Tropez Dark mousse.

Moisturizing Face Screen, SPF 30, Extra Light Tint

I had purchased one of the previous original versions when it was called Creme De Soleil. I liked it because it had so many great ingredients and essential oils not typically found in sunblock that I wanted to have in a sunblock.

Unfortunately they change the formulation often and sometimes take out ingredients I really loved about it such as Pearl Powder, Helichrysum oil, Acai oil, Neroli hydrosol, Sea Buckthorn etc... the price is expensive and they don't lower the price with these changes... then you find in a later version they add a couple of the ones they took out back in and take other things out and so on...

Maybe it is due to the bad economy or because specific ingredients were harder to get or were more expensive in certain times. I have no clue. It is a tough sunscreen to really feel consistent about if they keep changing around the ingredients. It is very expensive and for the price I would want top quality ingredients at all times. So just be aware that if you buy this look at what the current listing of ingredients are on their website.

I don't know the true reason behind the constant changes.

Personally if I was to change it I would take out Mica (I am hearing it may be bad for our health now), the Red Palm Oil(Causes breakouts in some people) and Lecithin(also may cause breakouts).

Anyhow for those interested I have put down the ingredients below for the version I had tried myself and then of following versions that have come after it to show you how they keep making changes in ingredients.

I bought this product enthusiastically because I am always looking for all-natural sunscreens that use zinc oxide as their main sun protection ingredient and that also make the skin look good (i.e. not pasty or whitish); Creme de Soleil has a great composition: 20% non-micronized zinc oxide and natural/organic ingredients, such as green tea and sea buckthorn.

However, it is very hard to apply and I do not like how it makes my skin feel -the creme feels very dry as soon as you start blending it in and I end up having to pull at my face trying to blend all the creme. The end result is okay, i.e. no whiteness, but I keep feeling that it dries out and clogs the skin a bit, despite the great ingredients. I have tried applying it both with and without a moisturizer and it does not make much of a difference. Given the price, I expected better quality. I would buy this again only if the price was under $25, otherwise, I will stick with other products (such as Green Screen from Kabana).

I have been looking for natural sunscreens and decided to try this one.I am pretty happy with it but it is a bit difficult to put on.I really enjoy the scent of it and find it very helpful as a sun screen for the under and over eye area.It gives a bit of a highlight to the eyes.I'm planning on using it more in the summer months but I use sunscreen all year.The coverage seems heavier than other natural products I have tried.I have African descent skin tones in the medium to light range but find this blends well with a little work.I am happy with the ingredients that I know are safe and the dropper helps with conserving the product.This one is probably a keeper but I am still working on using it.

The little bit of whiteness does disappear and I have found adding a drop of moisturizer to it makes it blend in much better as it seems to go on a little dry, which is good for me because I have oilier skin. I like too that it doesn't have nano particles which is why I tried it in the first place.

As others have written, this moisturizer feel grainy when first applied, but that feel goes away without leaving any residue. I like the ever-so-slight tint, (I'm guessing from the sunscreen). Its not heavy or oily. Absorbs into skin well and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth and protected from UV rays.

I agree with the review that states it does not reduce existing wrinkles (not sure any product really does) but there is a smoothing effect once applied. Your skin appears hydrated and healthy, and maintains a silky feel. You will also love the light scent. I have sensitive skin and these products are non-irritating. I wear this moisturizer alone and under makeup.

Its a great product line that works for me, I just wish the products were more affordable. I open up the casing to get to every last drop of this stuff before throwing away.

It has a nice smell and I like that it gives my skin a tint of color but it still breaks me out and did nothing for my pours. I might use it in the summer for the nice glow but will still be looking for a better product!

Hawaiian Tropic Protective Tanning Lotion SPF 8, 8 Fluid Ounce

This is terrible! I have always used Hawaiian Tropic products for tanning, usually the dark tanningspf 4. I live in the Caribbean, I took this to the beach,it would've been better if I hadn't used this. I rarely ever burn with or with out sun screen or tanning lotion, I just tan, I am bright red and in pain. I will never use this again, money wasted! I you can give this less of a star I would!

I ordered this product for our beach vacation and liked it so much that I ordered more. Even my husband, who doesn't like the feel of sunscreens (either too oily or too sticky) liked the smoothness of this one. Protected us well since we already had a good base tan. I will continue to use this product!

Because I've been in the acquatics world for most my life, I have always tried new and different brands of lotion.Hawaiian Tropic is definitely my most favorite.Whether the SPF is low or high, it always does the job.Plus, when you smell it and makes you feel like you are on some Hawaiian island far away.This is always a good thing.I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this product.It has been nothing but good for me.As I get older, I tend to use the SPF at a higher effectiveness, but now I will go as low as SPF 8. I love this stuff :-)

I was really excited about this product and bought one for me and my mom. The packaging is great, the applicator works well and is very convenient. One major problemthe sunscreen doesn't work! I tried it once to walk the dog and got a minor burn. I thought I hadn't applied enough, so I put a ton on and reapplied for a 2 hour hike. I now have a horrible burn on my shoulders and arms. I know it didn't sweat off, because at the end of the hike, you could still see and feel the powder on my skin. Plus the burn is very even, it looks like I didn't wear any sunscreen at all. I'm so disappointed because I was really happy to have an alternative to lotion, but now I don't think I even want to try other powder sunscreens because I'm scared of getting another bad burn!

I have been waiting for a product like this for a while.I have fair skin and so does my daughter so i have to have sunblock on hand all the time.I have lotions, liquids and aerosols.I often use the aerosol on my daughter because it covers quickly and she can go play, but every time i tried putting a hat on her she takes it back off within 10 minutes.I would spray her head but then it would make her hair look greasy.So I bought this for the convenience of having a portable refillable non spilling container and the convenience of being able to apply it to her head and not worry about her hair getting gummy or greasy.Well... It works.But.I am not sure if i am overapplying it or that the product is just like this, but it does leave a white coating ... it does not let her scalp burn which is the original reason why i bought it.its a definite must to apply in a gridlike and swirling pattern.I was out on a motorcycle ride and only had this product on hand and had to apply it to my arms and neck and swirled it on my face some too.It worked.. i reapplied every two hours but i think it should have been every hour because i didnt fully burn but was still a little red.So what i am trying to say is good product, use as directed, beware that it may leave a white coating; Works great in toddler scalps.

I really wanted to like this product, but it is so incredibly messy and impossible to get the cap back on without getting powder everywhere (not to mention I felt like I was breathing in the powder with can't be good for you).It needs a better design, like a retractable brush or a sleeve that fits from the bottom up.Overall I am planning to return this item because it did not work as I had planned.

The sunscreen works fine.The applicator doesn't control the quantity at all, and the brush is such poor quality that it scratches and you end up with white patches all over your face. I ended up putting the sunscreen in an old mineral foundation container and use my own high quality powder brush to apply it.

Banana Boat Ultramist Baby Tear Free Lotion SPF 50, 6-Ounces (Pack of 3)

This product works exactly as advertised.

I use it on my kids, especially on their faces, and so far have had NO crying or tears at all.

I don't spray this directly on my kids faces (I spray it on my hands, then rub it on their faces).

I also recommend putting this on their arms and hands so that when they wipe their faces, they don't get tears.

The cheaper sunscreens (non tear free) we use on the body and legs.

I've even started using it for myself for when I'm swimming in the ocean and surfing. Nothing like burning sunscreen in the eyes to make you miss seeing waves.

PROS:

1. Tear free! It really works.

2. Because it works, you will put more sunscreen on your kids and your own face without fear of stinging and burning.

3. Bottle design makes it easy to get every last drop of sunscreen out of it.

4. Feels really cold when it sprays on (my kids laugh and giggle).

Cons:

1. A little more expensive than non tear free versions of sunscreen.

2. Sand will stick to it (just like almost every other sunscreen made).

I am so glad that I changed my daughter out of her church clothes and into old play clothes before using this product for the first time! Yes, it is SPF 50, and waterproof, and her (redhead) fair skin did not burn at all however, after taking the white cotton shirt and underpants she had been wearing out of the washing machine, after having gone through the wash; I noticed that they all have bright yellow staining, on every edge that would have rubbed her skin even slightly. I have washed them a further twice, with stain removal spray applied, and while the staining has faded a little, she definitely can't wear these clothes in public again. Also, I might add, that I spray it on her while she stands in the bath tub, and then allow it to dry before getting her dressed, and when we came home that day the entire bath tub was stained yellow, and I had to use bleach to get it off. SO thankful that it was my tub and not my carpets that got it! On close inspection, the can does say, "May stain some fabrics" in the small print, but this is ridiculous! I now have almost a full can (and a tube of the cream which ruined my baby son's t-shirt) that I will not use again. Blatant waste of money. I will stick with the Coppertone spray I had used previously as it has never done this with us, despite, interestingly enough, reviews that it does. What is IN these sunblocks??

I don't even have children, but I have hyper-sensitive and insanely dry skin. I am very pale and burn easily. I actually hold the can at arm's length and lightly mist it on top of my makeup. When I do this, my skin stays hydrated all day and does not break out either, which a lot of sunscreens do to me.I have a terrible problem with peeling skin around my mouth and nose and have tried everything on the market to address that problem. When I use this, the peeling is minimal. This might not work for anyone with an oily skin problem, but if you're dry and need a lot of protection, this is the way to go. It can make my eyeshadow crease a bit, but that's the only issue I have with it.

"If a consumer comes into contact with a flame or spark prior to complete drying of the product on the skin, there is a potential for the product to ignite." This was stated by the manufacturer. 30 products have been recalled.

This particular product is not on the recall list, but I don't want to use it on a baby or myself, personally. It's an spf 50 Ultramist product, which were the ones that had the flamability problem.

Illuminare Ultimate All Day Blush SPF 21 0.25 oz.

I started doing some water survival training and needed to find cosmetics that would withstand the water. This was recommended on another website, along with other products. It does a great job...stays on without smearing...and I don't look too bad when I come out of the water...my hair is a different story! LOL!

This blush does last quite well but I wouldn't say it lasts all day. It does have a natural looking affect, as long as you use very little. The colour wasn't quite as nice as I hoped it would be but I just add a little of my Mac creme blush to enhance the colour more to my liking. Having the Illuminaire underneath does mean I have to reapply less.

All in all, a pretty good product but at the same time it didn't blow me away.

Banana Boat UltraMist Kids MAX Protect & Play Clear Spray Sunscreen SPF 110: 6 OZ

I've used other Banana Boat products so I didn't hesitate to buy this one for my three girls, ages 2 6.It is horrible! The spray is watery and clear and smells like rubbing alcohol.My kids screamed and said it was burning their skin, especially when sprayed over any scrapes or mosquito bites.I reapplied every 2 hours while they were swimming.That evening, I noticed all of them had pink sunburned cheeks and shoulders and tan lines from their swimming suits!I guess from now on I'll just stick to the thicker creams because it seems this one just did not hold up in the water at all.Very disappointed, I won't be buying this kind again.I do however, like the Banana Boat stick sunblock for their faces, that has worked for us in the past and doesn't get in their eyes.Don't buy this spray!

Our family went to a Beach Soccer tournament last weekend in Wildowood Crest NJ (Beach Blast 2012).The first day on the beach, we all used Up & Up (Target brand) SPF 50 spray-on sunblock with great success.On Sunday, we used Banana Boat Kids Ultra Mist SPF 110 & felt like we were burning after a little while so continued to re apply the product much more frequently than expected with an SPF of 110.That evening my husband and I had severe sun burns to our back, shoulders and faces.Not only do I think the product was either expired or faulty somehow, I think the spray nozzle was faulty as well.When you look at my husbands back, you can see the lines where the spray was applied even thou the bottle says no rub spray.My children were all wearing hats and swim (SPF 50) shirts that day, so luckely they are ok even thou they too had a little too much sun to their faces.I emailed Banana Boat to inform them 4 days ago & they never replied to my message.I called Target (where product was purchased) & they pulled product off of their shelves right away.That shows the differecen btwn. a co. that is costumer oriented & one that is not.I will never buy a Bananan Boat product again, not because I may have gotten a bad product by chance (maybe), but bc they never bothered to respond to a concerned costumer.They don't deserve my $.Hope this is helpful & can prevent others from experiencing same situation.

Purchased for summer use on my kids who are both have fair complexions. Sprayed it on both of my kids before we went to the beach to have fun, and even made sure that just about every inch of their skin was sprayed. Both of my kids ended up having places on their body with some patches being completely white and places that were red with a sun burn, even though I completely covered them head to toe in sun screen. Will never buy banana boat ever again since I can no longer trust their products after this.

easy to use sunscreen esp on little ones that moves a lot. i love the high spf. it's not greasy but after i sprayed my son while he was sitting on the floor, i did see a film of it on the linoleum. the smell isn't very strong and i can tell there was still some left on my son when i went to reapply more on him 2hrs later on our walk.
