I started using this product when I just did not want to spend another 45.00 for my usual Origins face cream. I was skeptical at first but when I found out that it not only has Vitamin C but White Tea too, I was willing to give it a shot. Both are wonderful topical antioxidants and even Origins could not offer both in one product.

That was over a year ago and I have not gone back. In fact, I use the entire line of Avalon Vitamin C now. The cleansing milk, facial serum, balancing toner and this cream. My skin absolutely glows like never before, my dry-as-the-desert skin problem is resolved, I never have breakouts and I look forward to my regimen every night and morning.

Oh! The scent of this product is great. It is a clean citrus smell that does not linger too long just perfect for feeling refreshed.

I love the smell of this facial cleanser a refreshing orange scent that wakes you up (and is nice even at night!).But I really started using it because it met my criteria for "healthy" beauty products.This product has no parabens and no sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, and it is compliant with the EU Cosmetics Directive (much more stringent than our own FDA regulations for chemicals in beauty products.It is not, in face, a completely organic product, though at the top of the ingredient list are organic lavender, chamomile, and white tea.A small amount lathers well, and my face feels so clean after I use it.The only reason I don't give it five stars is that it does contain benzyl alcohol and some other "unnatural" compounds, but this will still remain in my rotation.

I have bought this product for years, they just changed it and you can see the word NEW on the packaging.

The product is so white and the texture is so thick now that you will feel like you are spreading white glue on your face and you look like a clown with white face.

I wrote to the company but did not get any response. They also changed the formula of their serum and it is really bad, in fact you can check other review about their NEW line and figure it out.

I am very disappointed as I really like the product the way it used to be and now will need to find something else.

I was looking for an organic face cream that also had spf 15.When I saw this, I bought it even though I figured it would make me break out, because most face lotions do.I decided to give it a chance anyway.The cream is a little heavier than most, and my skin is oily, so this was also a red flag for me.But I was wrong!The cream absorbs quickly and is moisturizing, yet does not make me break out.In fact, I believe that it has helped clear my skin.This is an excellent cream, and not something to pass up.

It is a Step 2 lotion, which performs best when you have a base tan.

Still prefer the Dark Sexy Tan the most. I have been using it for years and will always keep coming back to it.

I donot advise to buy online, if you must, make sure they offer you your money back if you are not satisfied with the product you get, and make sure there are customer reviews that are positive! The only one that I have seen on Amazon with a lot of positive reviews is SealedLotions. Be careful Guys and Gals, I have come across several sellers that have expired lotions, altered ones, and completely fake ones!

I Love Lubriderm ADV. It is very hard for me to find the tub in the store. I use it for my hands.

I really like this product with the sunscreen although it has often been hard to find. The SPF 30 is one of the highest and if I am moisturizing anyway, the added protection is a plus.

Although this has sunscreen in it, I've been using it at night. I've been told you should use a good moisturizer with retinol at night when your body is actively repairing itself. I've been using this for only four days and the results are unbelievable!

I have very fair, sensitive skin with large pores and a lot of redness, especially on my nose. I also have a lot of sun spots, especially near the corners of my eyes and above my upper lip. I think those will be the toughest fix, and I've seen only a slight improvement in them (like I say, it's only been 4 days).

The reason I was in such a rush to write this review is because the redness and large pores have been reduced SIGNIFICANTLY something I never expected and had just learned to live with. My skin is also much smoother looking and feeling, with a noticeable improvement in fine lines already. My skin hasn't looked this good in years! Did I mention it's been 4 days?!

Update (11/5/11): When this bottle was gone, I tried RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream based on the glowing reviews. I was not impressed and have since gone back to this product.

I would have loved this Neutrogena moisturizer when I was a decade or two younger, but alas, I am not.In my 30's, as my skin turned towards combination skin and I started to use mositurizers this would have been perfect!I would have been quite happy with the results into my early forties, but now that the 50s are here, this doesn't quite have enough moisturizer capabilities to work for me now.But if you aren't as old and decrepit as me, this will probably be a fabulous product for you!

I have always been a fan of Neutrogena products, but this is by far my FAVORITE! I have very sensitive, oily skin with large pores, and this does not irritate me. I noticed an improvement in my skin almost over night! My skin is also prone to pimples with produts that are too heavy, but NO problem with this one. I love this product. Totally evens out my skin tone and nothing I have tried has EVER done that before. The tinted kind doesn't work as well and is very orange. The nontinted is excellent. I noticed a weird spot on my cheek the other day and I was like "what the heck is that?" It was a lightened birthmark! I wasn't trying to lighten it and was shocked to see that it was so faint (normally it is a very large dark brown spot). The spot that I am trying to lighten didn't lighten as much, but that is ok because this product still made a huge change in my complexion in just a few days. I wish that it was easier to get the bottom scrids out when it is almost empty. Oh, and my boyfriend doesn't like the scent but it doesn't bother me.

Anti Aging Bb Cream Broad Spectrum Spf 40

()I'm ambivalent about this BB Cream, Like I said in the title, it is not fantastic; it is just a heavy crème that will give you a 40 SPF.Maybe.

If you are an older woman (or man) like I am, you may have some age spots as well as wrinkles a to contend with.Especially since people born in the 50's were encouraged to suntan without any kind of protection!Remember baby oil with iodine?What can I say, we were ignorant of what the sun would do to us in our later years!

Anyway this product makes claims that I don't think it can back.It has an rather unpleasant aroma. It is thick but does NOT cover any of your skin imperfections so can't be used as a substitute base if you need a little help. It does cover tiny spots, but you must use a lot you can't rub it in-you must daub it on thickly and thenyour face feels greasy and sticky.(you can always put powder over it) It also feels like a 'mask' if you apply it to cover imperfections like I did. Theclaim that it"reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles" (quote from back of tube) is only because anytime you put an oil on top of dry skin it *appears* smoother, but that is only until your skin absorbs it all.

This is not an economical product either, since it apparently needs to be reapplied quite often during the day.

According to the directions on the side panel on the box----->

* "Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure."

* "Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating."

(You need both?Why? This product is supposed to be an SPF 40 sunscreen according to the label on the tube.)

* "REAPPLY AT LEAST EVERY 2 HOURS"

I don't think I need to say more.

()The Hydroxatone BB Cream is the fifth BB product I have tried, hoping to get away from full foundation and save some steps by having sunscreen and anti-aging benefits. While the Hydroxatone offers an all-in-one product, it was definitely not my favorite of those I have tried.

The texture was very thick, like a heavy foundation. Therefore, it did cover better than some BB/tinted suncreens do. The three stars that it earned from me was for this coverage and sunscreen and that's about it.

I definitely needed to use a pore-minimizer along with it, as it accentuated my pores on my cheeks. The color was close, but not quite right and left a matte finish that really needed to be at least slightly dewier, as it had a bit of an fake/ashy appearance to it.

But, my biggest complaint about it...which I am shocked not to have seen mentioned by many others, is the smell. It has a very strong, unpleasant scent. I will admit that I am very strongly drawn to nice scents and easily put off by chemical ones, but I think most would agree that it is pretty bad.

Just not for me for a few reasons, and then there is the price. Not very competitive since there are many nice BB creams out there for less or at a similar price which give a more appealing finish. I will keep searching and I would have to recommend that you do the same.

()This is BB, beauty balm, cream (or it could be blemish balm) which means that you should be able to use it without any added moisture, powder, primer, or sunblock.I have never worn heavy foundations so a BB cream is perfect for me.

I have tried BB creams that are great and not so great, expensive and cheap.I would place this one in the mid-expensive and okay group.It is not bad, but it has some drawbacks that keep me from saying that I love it.

It is thick and heavy, more like a regular foundation than other light BB creams that I have worn.One reason I like BB creams is the lightness.I don't see any of the normal moisturizing ingredients like hyaluronic acid and glycerin in the ingredients.I am not a chemist and they may have something else, but these are the ones that I usually look for because these are the ones that are usually recommended.What I do know is that I do have to use some kind of moisturizer under this BB cream or it is dry on my skin.

It does not turn orange.I have the medium shade and it is pretty true to color.It will be to light for me when summer comes and I tan a bit.It works well with my blush.

The fact that I have to use a moisturizer would not keep me from using this BB cream again.The heaviness probably will.I will continue to use the rest of this tube, but at the present it is not one that I feel I would use again because it seems to be a foundation to me rather than a light BB cream.However, if you are looking for a fuller coverage BB cream, this would be one to try.

()I've been using a BB Cream from Korea for quite some time. It matches my skin tone (which is slightly olive) far better than this one, but I was out of my preferred brand when Amazon gave me the opportunity to try this one out. I ordered the medium, which is usually perfect for my skin, but this medium seemed far more on the fair side.

First impression: wow, is it thick. Unlike the BB creams I've used, you can't simply tap this into your skin and have it blend in. This stuff looks chalky, and requires quite a bit of effort to blend. After that, it looks okay but after a few hours it began looking mask like.

After a week's use, my skin was dry, flaky and irritated. Although BB creams are supposed to combine serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation in one product, I started having to use a separate morning moisturizer just to combat how this stuff dried out my skin. And with an added moisturizer, the stuff just slid off my face by noon. After two weeks, I started noticing red splotches on my cheeks and chin, and decided to stop using this altogether.

I thought that at least I wouldn't need to worry about sun screen all day, but then I read the instructions which mentioned having to re-apply every 2 hours! Good thing I wasn't outside a lot that day.

my derm approved this for me. it's the ONLY sunscreen made for the face that works for me. every other formulation i have tried has really irritated my skin, especially in combination with makeup. not sure why. i have acne prone skin, and i have not had any problems with this giving me acne. i guess it just all depends on your skin, but it's also really important with sunscreen to remove it at the end of the day because any sunscreen will give you acne if you don't properly remove it (shiseido even makes a sunscreen remover). i've found that this prime liquid foundation the best, rather than just powder by itself. with powder alone, as with any primer, you can look a little overly-dewy. my makeup definitely lasts longer with this. the smell is a bit bug spray-like, but is much more subdued than most sunscreens which leave you smelling like the pool. you can definitely see the sunscreen on your face when you apply, but give it about 2 minutes before applying your makeup and it sinks in. i love this stuff!

I wanted a good primer and SPf sun screen to wear during day. I wear this alone or under my BB cream or foundation. It glides on smooth. Absorbs well and protect my skin. This was much cheaper than Chanel primer with SPF I was using. I am happy with purchase. Two in one, cant beat that.

Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF 35, 2.5 Ounce

This is probably the best moisturizer/sunscreen combination I've ever used, especially for the price. I had just run out of the moisturizer I usually use, and as the only store in the area that carries it anymore is on the other side of the city, I picked this up, just so I would have something until I could get more of the other. I won't be getting the other again; this is far better.

I didn't have to use very much and it absorbed quickly. My skin is extremely sensitive (maybe 2% of the products I've used in the past haven't irritated my skin), but this didn't irritate it at all, and it didn't leave my face feeling oily. I only put on a little bit of powder most days, and usually by the end of the day, my face would look shiny and feel extremely oily. That wasn't the case with this. I have combination skin, so it can be a chore trying to keep the dryer parts moisturized and the oily parts from getting worse, but my skin looks and feels great at the end of the day when I use this. It hasn't caused any breakouts, either, and I didn't notice any bad/unusual smells neither did my mom, who has complained about the smell of every moisturizer and sunscreen I've used.

I'll definitely be getting more of this when the bottle I have runs out.

i bought it for the clearance price, red tag deal at whatever store..and im not using it anymore.my face didnt burn like a few other reviewers have complained about.but i did start to break out.some bumps.the spots may be small pimples, they are red dots that i developed after the second day of using it.my face never breaks out so i dont know.

the reason i tried this product is because the moisturizer that i do like was out of stock that day.a few days later i went to a different store--a target this time--and they didnt have it [my fav] either.so i needed facial cream.i talked with a nice woman who was much older and had nice skin.she happened to be there in the aisle and i needed some advice.she said she just spent a fortune on some facial cream that she loves, but when she runs out, she's going back to olay regenerist.she highly recommended it, she said there is literally no difference from the much more expensive brands she'd tried.it was a bit expensive, so i hope it's worth it; but she was pretty supportive of it so im pretty excited.

i hate throwing away anything without fully using it, but this stuff is not going back on my face.it may not be horrible to others, i may just have a skin reaction to something in it, but the reaction is one i dont like and therefore i will not be using it again.

I am surprised at the negative reviews for this product. I'm not arguing about that feedback, nor am I trying to dismiss these customer's issues. I'm just very surprised they had a reaction to this product.I've used it for many years and never had a bad reaction. My skin is very fair and somewhat sensitive, and this lotion feels just right to me. I hate moisturizers that feel greasy or slimy, but this is very light and soft. My face is too sensitive for tradional sunscreen, so I use this instead.

Lancome Flash Bronzer Tinted Self-Tanning Leg Gel ( Made In USA ; Unboxed ) - 60ml/2oz

First off this 2oz bottle is usually a part of a `free gift' at Lancome in fact right now (May 2011) you can get 6 free gifts including the 2oz tube of Flash bronzer leg gel when you purchase $32 worth of Lancome stuff.Which is how it came to be in my possession.I usually only review books, but it is summer and the season for tanning.I am as pale as they come (I mean red-head pale) so unfortunately a lot of self tanners look orange on me.I also don't believe in tanning beds and rarely have time to go to the pool.

Look and feel

The tanner is a gelly substance that has flecks of gold glitter on it so I really liked using it when I was wearing shorts/skirt/dress.It goes on smoothly and you really don't need too much.

Smell

The gel had a strong smell at first, but it didn't smell like fake bake, after a few hours the smell was still there but it did not intensify like some tanners do.It wasn't unpleasant, but certainly distinguishable.

Immediate look

My legs looked shimmery and maybe a half a shade darker immediately

3-4 hours later

My legs had an orange bronze look to them (like burnt orange not vivid orange) on my feet... which yes I had exfoliated and moisturized before putting this on.

Final conclusion

I have friends that love this stuff, they are slightly darker then I am and have never experienced the orange problem, this is probably due to how pale I am normally, I have this problem with a lot of sunless tanners.The big point for me though is that it wasn't a horrid noticeable orange, I didn't feel embarrassed since I was wearing a skirt, in fact I'm sure I was the only one who was looking closely enough to notice it, still for the hefty price tag it wasn't a perfect fit for me.

Love, love this stuff! It works really well for me. No problems with grease or orange streaks. Just apply it correctly!Tan gets darker as the day goes by.Highly recommend :-D

Softlips Pure, Organic Lip Conditioner

I have never seen this in the stores. I am a big fan of softlips products ... but had only known about the lip balm sticks. I have been using this for about a week now. It's a nice, light feel when you put it on. What makes it better than some of the other creamy lip butters I have tried, is that this stuff does not stay white on your lips once you've applied it. I would only use it at night, if that were the case. However, I'm happy to say, this goes in my pocket with me all the time!

It's a little expensive for everyday use (I go through the sticks like crazy), but would be great when you need a little something extra. What really makes this lip butter stand out is how it performs as a lip primer. I tried it before putting on some lipstick and it actually enhanced the color, making it much brighter than it normally looks. It also helped it go on much more smoothly because it evens out any lines and just improves overall lip texture. I'm sure this would be really soothing to chapped lips as well.

At first I was a little worried about this one. When you squeeze the lip butter up, it's white but if you do not use globs of it it will go on without color. Fairly good hydrating qualities but nothing life changing. One thing I did like was it had the smell and the taste of a yummy yogurt.

Unfortunately, I lost the one I bought so I just might have to order another. If you buy one, keep good track of it. It's a product you don't want to lose.

I love La Roche products but this one is a little thick for my taste.It has a very silky feel and almost gives my skin a matte finish.It does give a nice surface for makeup to glide on but I prefer a really light moisturizer.I have used their redermic UV and will probably go back to that one.

Wow!Talk about a cool product!This stuff is an answer to prayer from a person with oily skin.I really love it and it definitely does not feel like it has sunscreen in it which is a good thing because I hate the feel of sunscreen on my face.I have quite a few great sunscreens in my arsenal that I use quite often but this is one of my daily sunscreens from now on.I use it over a very light spf 15 sunscreen that I really like but just do not feel confident enough only having spf 15 on.So this goes over it and it makes my skin look and feel great and gives me the protection I want!Try it and see as these kinds of products work well for some and not so well for others.It just depends on your skin care routine and your skin type whether or not a primer will work well.I do know that you have to play around with certain products because primers can become flaky when applied over some creams or lotions so play around with it and see.

Borrowed some of this type of sunblock from a fiend at the pool and loved it so I thought I would order some online.Decided to go with 3 bottles to save on shipping.Plus I have 4 kids and like to surf so I thought we would surely use it.The problem is that 2 of the 3 containers purchased leak at the exact same place.

When they arrived there was sunscreen everywhere.At first I thought it might have just come from loose lids, but as I was cleaning up the mess I realized the containers were manufactured poorly and there is a pinhole leak at the seam at the same spot on both bottles.Both holes are at the same exact spot on the bottle.I am starting to think that the seller likely knows about this problem.Maybe purchased them as defects and are selling them anyway.Do not purchase as they will make a huge mess when you squeeze them and when traveling on a plane.

I have used this sunscreen on my 3 kids now for years and I LOVE IT! We recently went on a trip with some friends and they used other sunscreen and their children all got burned. This is definitely one of the best sunblocks available. I am very happy with it and will continue to use it, but it can be greasy. It also creates a bit of an unnatural white cast look on your skin. If it were more matte, then this could be the best sunblock on the planet.

I have been using this sunscreen for over a year and love it! I am so happy to have found a sunscreen with the lack of chemicals. I am very picky about using any products on my skin that are not from my kitchen-my skincare involves honey masks, yogurt, coconut oil, and extra virgin olive oil. Unfortunately, the kitchen cupboard cannot protect my skin from the UV rays so I have to rely on companies that claim to be organic. This product rates a safe 2 on the EWG database and provides excellent protection. If I have a baby anytime soon, I will probably choose this product to slather all over his/her skin. I highly recommend this product for its safety and it is easy on the pocketbook.

I've been using this sunscreen for 2 years now and just recently purchased another pack. It takes a bit longer than other sunscreens to rub in, but once you do the whiteness goes away. It doesn't really have much of a smell, and works very well.

For now, I'm just reviewing on consistency. It seems like every time we have found time to go out this summer, it has been overcast, so I can't rate on sun protection just yet. I bought this product to use on my infant, since I wanted something more natural than traditional sunscreens. This also got a good rating on EWGs sunscreen guide. I do know mineral sunscreens can leave you a bit ghostly-looking, since the zinc/titanium dioxide don't rub in all the way. This, however, rubs in beautifully! I think that must be the "very emollient" part of the name. It is thick, and initially you might worry that it's not rubbing in all the way. Once it warms up a bit from rubbing though, it melts right in. I put some on myself as well (olive-toned skin since baby white is hard to tell!) and I didn't look ashy at all. Will update once we have a little more sun exposure, but so far, I really like it!

Conditioner Jojoba Jason Natural 16 oz

I've been using the Jason brand shampoos for a year or so now, and I've tried various different scents and types just to see what I liked best. I've always been pretty happy with the results, and I like that Jason's products are natural, organic, and sulfate-free. I finally bought and tried the aloe conditioner today, and it blows the rest out of the water.

First thing I noticed is that it's much more thick and creamy than the other Jason conditioners (and any conditioner I've ever tried other than special, deep conditioners and conditioning hair masks). I could feel the difference it made in the texture of my hair immediately. Even as I was rinsing it out, my hair somehow felt stronger and smoother. I let my hair air-dry with no product, and there's significantly less frizz than I normally end up with after washing. My curls were much smoother but not weighed down.

Next time I wash and condition, I'll leave this conditioner on longer to see if that gets rid of the frizz completely. I have a good feeling it will. I'll definitely be sticking to the aloe conditioner from here on out, and once I run out of Jason's lavender shampoo, I'll be giving the aloe shampoo a try as well.

This is the best conditioner I have found so far. So thick and creamy, I can hardly get it out of the bottle! (I take off the whole top and then it comes out just fine). I only use natural haircare and I have a lot of fun experimenting with different products. I decided to write a quick review after using this particular conditioner last night.

It has a satisfyingly thick consistency that you really feel coats your hair with nutrients. I have pretty healthy hair but somewhat damaged ends, and I feel that this conditioner makes them smooth and manageable. I leave it on for 5-15 minutes and it washes off easily, leaving my hair soft with a hint of shine.
