e.l.f. Essential Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

I was a little skeptical when I originally tried this product about 4 years ago or so....it is so tiny and inexpensive, it's probably not that good, or so I thought.Well, 4 years later I still buy this product and I use it over my regular spf moisturizer.I am fair skinned (not vampira fair, but pretty white...) the honey color is perfect for a bit of a healthy glow.This makes my skin feel nice and has a light orange fragrance.A little tube lasts a long time, which is another big plus in my book.With it being that inexpensive you can afford to put one in your bag, one in the overnight and keep one for home.

FingerPaints Top Coat

I swear by this top coat. I have gone through maybe 2 bottles already. I am a cosmetology school student, and a designer nail polish addict. I sort of turned up my nose a bit when a friends recommended this top coat. I was humbled by this bad boy! It dries fast. Most top coats are either too thin, or too thick, and this one is just the right consistency. Trust me when I say that just because it is not OPI or Chanel, does not mean it wont get the job done. On top of all that, it also is pretty resistant to chipping. I am into film photography, and am constantly dipping my hands into all sorts of odd chemicals. IT HOLDS UP. I am sure there is some witchcraft or voodoo involved in the making of this stuff, but I cant be bothered by that. My nails look fabulous. I really love this product :)

DCL Super Sheer Sunscreen SPF 50+ 2.5 oz

Due the skin treatments I receive, I must wear a high-protection sunblock every day (shouldn't we all for the benefit of our skin?). This is the best sunblock I have found. It is sheer and lightweight. It does not leave a shiny, greasy finish. It rubs in completely. I use a lightweight tinted moisturizer over it which provides a slightly dewy finish. I love this sunblock and I've tried almost everything on the market (truly, I have).

Chocolate Diamonds

I bought this lotion but have only used it a handful of times. I have used it in a tanning bed and outdoors as well. It is my 'backup' lotion for when I run out of my better stuff. I actually used this the first time I went tanning this year, and none of the bronzers showed up, so I guess you really have to slather it on. I know it has bronzers in it because some leaked out from under the lid and dried and it's a dark brown.

I really recommend this lotion for beginners or people who don't want to go tanning often and spend a ton of money on a more expensive lotion that won't be used much. This lotion is very hydrating and goes on smooth and has a nice consistency. The smell is also pleasant, and no burnt after smell, which is why I rated it three stars. If the lotion had not been advertised as having bronzers in it, I would have rated it five stars for a decent tanning lotion, but since the bronzers don't show up good, I had to take off 2 stars.

So basically, if you don't want a tanning lotion with overwhelming bronze, this is for you. As a lotion it's great.

Have ordered this item many many times. Great price. Great results. I will never buy lotion from the salons again.

This is my preferred tanning lotion. I'm a fair-skinned person (even with a tan!) and I tend to avoid lotions with lots of bronzers as it shows up pretty intensely on my pale skin. With Chocolate Diamonds the bronzer is very subtle and helps give me a nice even color. I'd recommend it for the casual tanner looking for a little boost. Smells yummy too.

Revlon Moondrops lipstick

The color is absolutely great (between coral & magenta, very saturated & bold), but I wanted to write a review because this is one of the top Revlon lipstick lines, and I thought the formula was terrible. I'm 23 years old and my lips are not chapped and are smooth & moisturized, but this lipstick collected in a strange way on my lips & made them look really wrinkly. None of my other lipsticks do that (Mary Kay, Maybelline, Clinique) so I am pretty disappointed. I would not recommend this formula, though I love the color.

The frangrance we got was lavender I'm actually curious to see if there are other fragrances out there for this product, but lavender is my wife's favorite (and mine, too, actually) because it's relaxing and we both think that there is something to this aromatherapy thing.Lavender soothes headaches, and it's just a pleasant fragrance.

We tend to use several sprays from the bottle, and then go back for more as we go along; the oil is rich and while it IS oil, it doesn't feel as "oily" as other body creams we've tried in the past.This richness and the fragrance combined definitely build a nice, relaxing, intimate atmosphere.

So, that said, our son is now coming up on six weeks of age, and my wife still uses the BELLI oil, on a daily basis, to my knowledge.So far, the only mark that can be seen is the incision for the C-Section she had to have, and honestly, I think even the incision scar is not as bad as I thought it was going to be at this point.No stretch marks to date is wonderful, and if her c-section scar is minimized by the treatments of this oil, then that is just plain awesome.

We have also used the BELLI oil on shoulders for shoulder massages for stress, and the lavender is enjoyed by both of us.It's a great all-body oil and from the other reviews I've read, and from what I've seen first hand, this stuff is just terrific for the skin.

By all means, try this oil, even if you're not pregnant... but if you are, I think it's a pretty nice excuse to have your significant other spend some really quality attention time with you and bond with the baby even before you're introduced face-to-face.

I ordered this at the beginning of my pregnancy and used it fairly religiously at night. While I have to admit the smell of it is strong and definitely not my favorite, nor does it smell like lilacs, it works. I am entering my eighth month and have yet to get a stretch mark. Just wanted to share for anyone considering the purchase...it worked for me!

The product is pricey, but the ingredients are all natural and/or high quality.Those seeking to minimize the effects of stretch marks might be able to get the same benefit by applying Vitamin E oil.Belli does have a wonderful scent that plain Vitamin E does not.

All in all a nice product, albeit a bit expensive.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have been using this since about 13 weeks.I have used it solely on my belly and I have absolutely no marks there, I haven't used it on my hips and I do have stretch marks popping up there, I wish I had thought to use it on my hips as well.So far during this pregnancy I've put on 35 pounds and I come from a family where all the women got stretch marks during pregnancies so I was fully expecting to get some even with using this product.I'm really pleased with this, it may cost a bit but I think it's definitely worth every penny.

The makeup is awesome, but the color is difficult to match to my skin. The sales lady at Sephora store had warned me about that. The light is too light for me and the medium is to dark. The colors do not line up with their other makeup lines so it's a little tricky (I'm a Medium in their tinted moisturizerline). I mix the light with a powdered bronzer to get the right color for me.

But the product is awesome! Has a nice light feel. Not to heavy but gives decent coverage. It is not gonna cover up major flaws, but nice for a day to day use.

Blue Lizard Blue Lizard Australian Sensitive Sunscreen Spf 30 Plus

Like many others, I have been searching for a zinc oxide/titanium dioxide sunscreen that rubs in easily, doesn't leave a heavy white residue, is not greasy, contains no fragrance, doesn't sting my eyes during sports, and really offers great sun protection.Wow, for me, this product meets all of these criteria and I really loved it.I was about to order more on Amazon when I discovered that Blue Lizard sunblocks all contain parabens (actually three different parabens) which essentially are preservatives used in the cosmetic industry.One of the safety concerns is that parabens mimic estrogen in the body and could disrupt hormone activity.I suppose this could be more of a concern for children, adolescents, pregnant women and men (I'm none of the above) but I don't want to take the risk. More and more companies are dropping parabens from their products.It may be one thing to put on a touch of eye shadow with parabens, but I spread this sunscreen liberally over my entire body.So the search goes on.

There were a few comments on the above review.One person said that she was confused because Blue Lizard advertises that their products contain no parabens.Another said he/she ordered the 5 oz. Blue Lizard Sensitive and it said on the label that it contained no parabens.I recently purchased the 3oz. Sensitive because the Amazon description listed the ingredients and parabens were not included.When I received the product, the package clearly stated it contained three separate parabens. The product was not expired, however. (As always, it was Amazon fulfilled so free shipping return and credit for product.)This is all very confusing but what it does highlight is that the Amazon photos and descriptions (of all their products, not just sunscreens) are not necessarily correct.I've run into this problem on more than one occasion. Here's what I believe is going on.Originally, all Blue Lizard Sunscreens contained parabens.In 2010 the company said it was eliminating them from the "Face" product.This year they announced they would be removing parabens from all products. Apparently Amazon or their vendors are shipping their inventories of the older products with parabens although Amazon is describing the product as paraben free.It also appears that some vendors are shipping the newer product (see comment about the 5 oz sensitive) although the Amazon description does not describe it as paraben free. I guess it is a crap shoot.

I finally got a response from the folks who manufacture Blue Lizard about the paraben issues.Here is what they said:

"Our Blue Lizard Face, Sensitive, and Baby formulas are now paraben free. We are updating our website but in the meantime the old formula is still in circulation through many websites and retail stores. When ordering from any website other than ours you will need to ask them to see which formula they have in stock. All Face, Sensitive, and Baby in our warehouse are the new paraben free formulas. Blue Lizard sunscreens have a three year expiration on them so the old formula could be around at least that long if not sold through since we released our last batches earlier this year. I have attached the new ingredients for you to look at."

The problem is, the Amazon descriptions and photos of the product are not always accurate; there is essentially no way to contact Amazon or the merchant vendors to ask whether they are shipping the paraben free version or not.So without more accurate descriptions, the only way to be sure you get a paraben free version of the face, baby or sensitive formulas is to order from the mfgr. or buy retail where you can read the label. I received a face formula that was paraben free and a sensitive formula that was not.

I emailed the Blue Lizard folks again and asked where I can buy the product retail.She said that in my area (DC area) it was available in some Bye Bye Baby stores.Drove to one today and sure enough they had Face, Sensitive, and Baby (essentially the same as Sensitive) all paraben free.They have it in 8.75 oz. bottles which I prefer.A little more costly than Amazon's but at least I know I am getting the parben free inventory.

I have tried several "sensitive" sunscreens but they still made me break out and turned my skin sort of leathery.After finding this brand on the Safe Skin Cosmetics Database, and liked it's broad spectrum coverage without chemicals, I decided to plop down more money for yet another sunscreen.I was surprised when this one didn't irritate my skin and actually made my skin softer!

Points to consider:* This sunscreen can be used on the face, as it will change from white to clear after you rub it in.IMPORTANTLY though, in order for this to rub in you have to apply it to DRY SKIN (indicated on the bottle) and don't use too much right away because you will have too much on your face to absorb (this stuff goes a long way)

As described by Dr. Leslie Baumann in the textbook Cosmetic Dermatology, there are two different categories of sunscreens: physical sunscreens, which scatter or reflect UV radiation, and chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV radiation and then dissipate the radiation as either heat or light, usually of longer wavelength that does not affect the skin.

Two chemical sunscreens, avobenzone and oxybenzone (the latter present in 20-30% of sunscreens), have been demonstrated by Hayden et. al to be absorbed into the body and secreted into the urine of users. While avobenzone and oxybenzone are not considered to be toxic agents in the medical community, it is still not recommended that sunscreens with avobenzone or oxybenzone are used by pregnant or nursing women nor small children, as they are absorbed into the body. My daughter has PMLE (polymorphous light eruption). In other words she's allergic to the sun, when her skin is exposed to the sun she develops blisters and an itchy, mealy red rash within minutes. Fortunately, for her, this is a mild allergy and she is able to go outside ONLY using THIS sunscreen! I can only make assumptions regarding this products efficacy, but I can speak on what it's like using it.

The sunblock gets really flakey. White residue starts forming on your skin after a while and it gets on all your clothes. These flakes also don't really wash off that easily even with soap. I suppose this speaks well for the water resistance of this forumla? Also, the spray comes out in a vary narrow cone so it's harder make sure that it's hit all parts of your body.

I LOOOOVE this product!! I have tried many products before and still burned with SPF 70. Since I discovered this sunlotion I have not had sunburns in years.

It goes on easy, does not stick, your skin feels kind of silky afterwards, but not sticky (I would have no problems handling my expensive SLR five minutes after it, for example) and holds and protects ALL DAY long.

I put it on in the morning and even after extensive sweating I did not get burned.

I am not sure why this product is being offered for so much money at Amazon though. I found mine in the local supermarket for half the price.

Yes, it is a bit pricey, but it works and for this it's worth it for me!

I borrowed this from a friend and applied a heavy coat of it before heading to the beach for about 1 to 1.5 hours.The beach in Michigan, mind you, not somewhere tropical.i did not get in the water, so it couldn't have washed off.I am pale, and I will burn, but usually not so badly in such a short amount of time WHILE wearing sunblock.At least I didn't peel, but I was very red.I have had better luck with Bullfrog spf 36, or Banana Boat spf 30 spray blocks.I would buy just about anything but Neutrogena, really.

I have tried almost all the existing natural sunscreen products. Badger is a good product that I use on my daughter. But most natural sunscreens are too heavy, too drying, or too whitening for my own face. This one is the best for me to use on my own face, non-irritating and non-drying (I put on a little bit jojoba oil first and then spread it fairly easily). I was concerned with the low SPF at first. That was why I tried various other natural products with higher SPF. No luck so far. This has been the best one. Highly recommend as a daily sunscreen. When I need to be in sun more extensively, I will probably used a higher SPF product.
