We were looking for the highest spf rating and at 70, this was what I found.For my husband, this rubs in quickly and easily and feels soft and smooth.It stays on even in hot, sweaty conditions which is of course, what you want sun block to do.

It doesn't have much scent, which is a big plus in my opinion.

What more could you ask for? Blocks out UVA (&UVB) rays for up to 5 hours. No more worrying about skin damage from the sun I suggest you wear this all year round. Goes on clear too.I think this is the Best product in the world.

As sunblock goes, this was effective--I didn't get a sunburn.But it dries white even if you rub it in really well!I also didn't think it was as non-greasy as advertised.I threw the tube out at the end of our vacation.

This is the only sunblock I have come across that I can apply to the skin directly beneath and beside my eyes which doesn't end up giving me red, burning eyes. That sets this items apart from others, in my book!

I was a neutrogena type of girl who tried the spray on (gag and watch the floors because you will slip and bust your ass) and their lotion which went on almost dry and left white residue and dulled my skin!Well I went out and bought Hawaiian tropics for the first time and wow!Amazing smell first off I love it!The sun screen goes on smooth and doesn't dull my skin or feel sticky icky or waxy!I am loving it so far compared to my neutrogena!

I used to hate wearing sunblock because everything I've tried was really oily and greasy. Love Hawaiian Tropic. Their sunscreen is light and non-greasy with a light coconut papaya scent.

We're a fair-skinned family.Generally, SPF 50 is a go-to for us when we are outside playing or going to the pool (we usually use Coppertone Water Babies with great results).

I purchased this because the smell is wonderful!Goes on easily, too.However, that is where the praise ends.

I am typing this after having to coat myself with aloe-vera gel after a trip to the pool today.Mind you, I didn't get into the water.I was on a lounge chair the whole time, or near the pool.It was hot out, and sweaty.With my typical Coppertone Water Babies this would not have been a problem at all.This stuff apparently ran right off of me.The wal mart brand SPF 50 that I put on my face stayed in place despite the sweating.

Too bad, since this was a great scent.I won't be using this again unless it is for a 20 minute walk around the block.

this stuff is awesome. Its main ingredients is zinc & titanium oxide, a physical (as opposed to chemical) sunscreen that blocks against all spectrum of UVA/UVB rays, doesn't get converted into damaging free radicals unlike chemical sunscreens, and has a high SPF at 50. its name--"soft finish sun milk" fits, because it is non greasy, not oily, applies smooth and dries to a non drying matte-ish finish. The price is steep but comparable to asian facial sunscreens that can be easily found in the US ie Shiseido Urban Environment defense spf 42 which is $30 plus tax. Unlike other physical sunscreens I've noticed minimal whitish cast that blends in easily and becomes unnoticeable after a few minutes of wearing.

I've had several comments on how good this product smells just wish theyd package it in a tube or something.Bought two of these step 1 & step 2.On one, the plunger never worked and I had to keep switching it out between the two bottles.When it stopped working and was presumably empty, out of curiosity, I cut them open to find almost 1/4 of the bottle was still full it was such that the fill tube for the plunger just wasn't in the right spot to suck up the rest of the lotion.

My mother has been using this for about a year now.She's had skin cancer so must wear a sunscreen 24/7.This is the only one she's found in years of trying that she can wear everyday and not break out.

The Beyond Coastal sunscreens are the best. I've never gotten burned when using them for a full day of swimming in strong sun. This mineral based one is a little thicker than the others and leaves a whitish film on skin. Very hard to wash off, so be careful where you get it. But it does an amazing job protecting your skin.

I just opened it and it smells like STINKY cheese.

I wrote to the company to see what is happening. Hope this is only mine, no other review mention that disgusting smell.

Will update after I get Beyond coastal's answer! But for now,I recommend you test it from before you decide to purchase!

Very slow and hard to apply.Stays on well. Once on it is a good product. Would rate it higher if it went on easier.
