Brush on Block is great!I started using it on the golf course because it didn't make my hands greasy.It is also great for thinning hair.It is so quick and easy to use, that I keep it in my car and use it anytime I'm going to be in the sun.As a father, I like it because it isn't a battle to get sunscreen on my kids faces anymore; in fact they keep it in their lunchbox to use at recess.
I found this product to smooth my skin. It also has a nice rose smell. The only negative is that it has little rock like peices in it. I was not sure if this was supposed to help with exfoliation but overall it works well.
Trouble with tanning lotions is finding the right one which suits your skin type. I have tried possibly every other competitive product over the past 10 years. It wasn't until someone suggested this brand to me 2 years ago. Suddenly I was getting the nice golden tan I had always been trying to get, and in a dramatically less span of time. I didn't change the location of where I was tanning, as I have a backyard pool. So the results I got, sunning in the same place I had been for years, amazed me.

My husband uses this after he shaves. It takes the burn off his neck. In the summer, it will actually leave the skin feeling cool as it bakes in the sun. It reflects the heat off. I like the smell. my derm approved this for me. it's the ONLY sunscreen made for the face that works for me. every other formulation i have tried has really irritated my skin, especially in combination with makeup. not sure why. i have acne prone skin, and i have not had any problems with this giving me acne. i guess it just all depends on your skin, but it's also really important with sunscreen to remove it at the end of the day because any sunscreen will give you acne if you don't properly remove it (shiseido even makes a sunscreen remover). i've found that this prime liquid foundation the best, rather than just powder by itself. with powder alone, as with any primer, you can look a little overly-dewy. my makeup definitely lasts longer with this. the smell is a bit bug spray-like, but is much more subdued than most sunscreens which leave you smelling like the pool. you can definitely see the sunscreen on your face when you apply, but give it about 2 minutes before applying your makeup and it sinks in. i love this stuff!

Much prefer this style of eye protection for tanning, either indoor or outdoor. Leaves no telltale rings around the eyes that shows you've been tanning. Will buy again.
I just used this lotion for the first time AND just went tanning for the first time in months (I was pretty pale). I am amazed at how much tanner I look just from this one tan session. This lotion is absolutely amazing!!! The smell is great, it's a cinnamon smell and the tingle feels great and isn't overkill like some lotions I've had. I'm very fair skinned and I used to go to the tanning bed 5 days a week so that I could enjoy going to the beach or any outdoor activity without the risk of sever sunburn! I love this product. it covers well and is a great color. Beware it does rub off on your clothes if you arent careful! Make sure you wash your hands after applying.

I really appreciate the spf 40 in this product. A lot of other reviews mentioned a smell, but there was no negative notable scent. Maybe they changed the formula. It is a very neutral scent. Great all around. Perfect for everyday use when I want to appear natural but not made up. It goes on and feels heavy at first but then disappears into your skin. Skin looks dewy all day.
The product works well as advertised.It goes on very white, almost like what you see lifeguards putting on their nose, and then rubs in leaving you looking slightly pale.The directions do not indicate if you are supposed to leave it in it's whitest stages, or if rubbing it in affects the sun blocking attributes.
I am a white woman born and raised in Hawaii and have had to deal with getting way more sun than I ever wanted to on a daily basis for my whole life. I've been sunburned basically every day for 20 years. I don't love sunscreen in general because it's often like applying a layer of glue to your skin when your body temperature is already way too high because it's 90 degrees out! I've just been dealing with it and taking my constant sunburns in stride, because if I apply a heavy cream of sunscreen I get sunstroke from the heat and blistery bumps all over my body, and a headache which is strangely worse than having a sunburn that hurts so bad I can't sleep all night. Too bad I'm a blue eyed, freckled blonde instead of an Italian or something...
I have been using this sunscreen for over a year and love it! I am so happy to have found a sunscreen with the lack of chemicals. I am very picky about using any products on my skin that are not from my kitchen-my skincare involves honey masks, yogurt, coconut oil, and extra virgin olive oil. Unfortunately, the kitchen cupboard cannot protect my skin from the UV rays so I have to rely on companies that claim to be organic. This product rates a safe 2 on the EWG database and provides excellent protection. If I have a baby anytime soon, I will probably choose this product to slather all over his/her skin. I've been using this sunscreen for 2 years now and just recently purchased another pack. It takes a bit longer than other sunscreens to rub in, but once you do the whiteness goes away. It doesn't really have much of a smell, and works very well.For now, I'm just reviewing on consistency. It seems like every time we have found time to go out this summer, it has been overcast, so I can't rate on sun protection just yet. I do know mineral sunscreens can leave you a bit ghostly-looking, since the zinc/titanium dioxide don't rub in all the way. This, however, rubs in beautifully! I think that must be the "very emollient" part of the name. It is thick, and initially you might worry that it's not rubbing in all the way. Once it warms up a bit from rubbing though, it melts right in. I put some on myself as well (olive-toned skin since baby white is hard to tell!) and I didn't look ashy at all. I tried Herbatint as a more natural alternative to the more common home hair colors I used before. I am very pleased with herbatint! This color, 7N (Blonde), is the perfect choice for a very light brown result that I was originally having trouble finding in the more natural haircolor lines. When first dyed, this Herbatint color is actually a medium brown, and after about 2 weeks, it lightens or relaxes into a very natural light brown shade that's perfect! (Similiar to shades labeled "extra light brown" or "dark blonde" in drugstore brands.) If you are looking for gray coverage stick with the shades with N after the number, (It tells you that on the insert, but you might not know if you've never used it before.)
