I've used this product for two years, and I can attest that it really does work. It's not overnight, and it may take several months, but it does truly work. My lip line had been disappearing for some time, and my lips were somewhat flat. I received the product within a few days of my order.Glad I had read a comment somewhere about the 'trick'to opening the tube (just twist the slightly bulbousbottom outer case and voila!-a mini rocket silo).The lipstick is very soothing without a trace of stickiness and just a hint of something cooling.After about three weeks of daily use, my lips do look and feel smoother, more comfortable, and maybe younger. I bought this sunblock because it was hyped as being "matte" and supposedly would not cause breakouts. I have oily skin and have yet to find a sunblock that does not cause breakouts, and this product was no different from any other. What really upset me was the "matte" hype my face was definitely oilier than with other sunblocks, much oilier. It was kind of disgusting, and I had to wipe my face repeatedly throughout the day. And on top of that, I broke out the next day in the areas where I'd applied this lotion. The only good thing I can say is that the product does appear to work as a sunblock. However, it was a complete and utter disappointment on all other counts. If you have oily skin and are prone to breakouts from sunblock, do NOT use this product.
I just wished there was more of it, since the price is not that cheap.

We tend to use several sprays from the bottle, and then go back for more as we go along; the oil is rich and while it IS oil, it doesn't feel as "oily" as other body creams we've tried in the past.This richness and the fragrance combined definitely build a nice, relaxing, intimate atmosphere.
So, that said, our son is now coming up on six weeks of age, and my wife still uses the BELLI oil, on a daily basis, to my knowledge.So far, the only mark that can be seen is the incision for the C-Section she had to have, and honestly, I think even the incision scar is not as bad as I thought it was going to be at this point.No stretch marks to date is wonderful, and if her c-section scar is minimized by the treatments of this oil, then that is just plain awesome.
We have also used the BELLI oil on shoulders for shoulder massages for stress, and the lavender is enjoyed by both of us.It's a great all-body oil and from the other reviews I've read, and from what I've seen first hand, this stuff is just terrific for the skin.
By all means, try this oil, even if you're not pregnant... but if you are, I think it's a pretty nice excuse to have your significant other spend some really quality attention time with you and bond with the baby even before you're introduced face-to-face.

I've tried so many of the chemical-free sunscreens on the market including California Baby (stick and lotion), Sunny Days (stick), Ocean Potion Naturals, UV Natural Baby, Neutrogena Sensitive Skin mineral sunblock, Alba Botanica "SUN" kids mineral sunscreen...to name the ones I can remember. I like BurnOut Kids the best for several reasons: 1) it works well even on my son's pasty-white skin 2) it's not greasy at all 3) it blends in really well and doesn't leave you looking too white. 4) And most important, it got really safe marks on the EWG (Environmental Working Group) web site. The only negative is it leaves your skin with a slightly tacky feeling, but to me it's much better than a greasy feeling.
I live in the southern US and spend time on the beach. I can assure you that, properly applied, there is NO tanning with this sunscreen. I can spend two entire days on a Gulf Coast beach and return home without a single tan line.

Forget that this says for kids...I'm 29 and my girlfriend and I have used this product for 3 months. In fact, I spent about 7 hours in the Miami, FL sun yesterday on the boat and have no sunburn whatsoever. I applied this all over my body before we went out and did not reapply. Only went swimming once though (about halfway through the day) and did not towel off. Not only was I protected but I was not all pasty white the sunscreen rubs in well not as well as the chemical stuff but none of my friends noticed anything on my skin.
It took me a long time but I found this sunscreen was the only one on Amazon to meet my criteria:
1) Highly rated with a good number of reviews
2) Scores no higher than a 1 on the EWG Skin Deep database
3) Verified and openly NON nano zinc oxide
4) Zinc oxide only (no chemicals or titanium dioxide)
5) A price that I can actually afford
Now more detail:
1) My first ever experience with physical sunblock (using zinc oxide, I think it was a Neutrogena product about 3-4 years ago) as opposed to the chemical variety was not good. It hardly rubbed in at all, left me very pasty white (with little white specks all over me), and came off in a cloud in the pool. I was not eager to try it again...but I read many bad things about the chemicals in modern sunscreens and while not perfect itself, zinc oxide is the better choice. One of the reasons I love Amazon is because of the reviews I try not to buy any products that aren't highly rated. For me, Burn Out sunscreen lives up to the solid reviews it's earned here.
2) The Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep website that ranks products based on their danger/toxicity scores this product a 1 on a scale of 0-10 (0 being the safest). I could not find any sunscreen products that scored a 0 so naturally I aimed for the next best score: 1.
3) This one is important. The first thing I found was that companies were using smaller "micronized" zinc oxide particles because they reduced the whiteness of the product and allowed it to rub in to the skin better. Obviously I don't want a sunscreen that's going to leave me looking ghostly white. However, it appears that some went too far and started having nano particles of zinc oxide. The danger is that nano zinc oxide may penetrate your skin and be absorbed into your blood stream you don't want that to happen. Many products I checked out either did not specify the size of their zinc oxide or were dangerously close to nano size. I found this easily on Burn Out's website in the FAQs:
"There are no nanoparticles in any BurnOut products. A nanoparticle is any particle that is 100 nanometers or smaller; many products using nanoparticles use a particle size of 20-60 nm. The zinc oxide in BurnOut has a minimum particle size of 1 micron (1000 nanometers 10x the size of the largest nanoparticle)."
As you can see, there is no danger of finding any nano particles in Burn Out Sunscreen.
4) The latest recommendation is to avoid chemicals and to choose zinc oxide as the physical sunblock rather than titanium dioxide. So...zinc oxide only.
5) Some sunscreens are like $10/ounce. I just can't afford that! At $5.29 an ounce ($17.99 for 3.4 ounces) this is an expensive sunscreen but worth it, in my opinion.

This is my favorite, favorite sunscreen to use on my children.It's a runny lotion and rubs in so easily.My two-year-olds will not tolerate me rubbing in thick sunscreen all over their faces.With this, they don't struggle as much and I can rub it in fast and easy.It can leave the slightest paleness to your skin but it really isn't bad.My kids are half Greek; my daughter is olive skinned and my son is out-right tan.They just both look a shade lighter but not white.
I also use it myself, including on my face, and love it.It has a high glycerin content so it can feel a little tacky sometimes but it doesn't last long.
I have tried so many physical sunscreens (Vanicream, Purple Prairie, Trukid Sunny Days, Trukid Sunny Days Sport, Episencial Sunny Sunscreen, Badger, Goddess Garden Baby, ThinkBaby, Kabana, Kabana Tinted, Eco Logical Body, Eco Logical Face, Eco Logical Baby, etc).BurnOut Kids is my primary choice for my children because of ease of application.I hate "sunscreen drag" and some of the aforementioned sunscreens have it.I do not want to tug and pull and push on my skin to rub something into it.I want a product to glide over my skin easily and this does just that.
I also love the Eco Logical sunscreens.I use those and BurnOut on myself, but I use only BurnOut on my kids just because it is so easy to rub into their faces while they are struggling to get away from me.

I am in the hot sun every day and have been lloking for a chemical free sunscreen that will not clog my pores and cause break-outs.I have been using Sunolgy for faces and for the body with great success!It is thick so you don't have to use much and it does absorb into the skin much better than other products I have tried with zinc oxide.It is greasy at first, but as you rub it in, it becomes very smooth and creamy. This sunscreen smells terrible but what's worst it linger on the skin for at least half an hour. I too checked the EWG site as another poster had to search for a chemical free sunscreen. The good news is, it's much less irritating to the eyes than other creams I've tried. It does have a fairly thick consistency and leaves a whitish film when first applied, but absorbs fairly well after about half an hour.
My problem with this product is that after wearing it about a week, I noticed an increase in whiteheads the type that form under the skin and can't be gotten rid of easily. Worse than that, my skin began to flake and peel. After 3 weeks of applying it daily, I am giving up on it the flaking and peeling have become really severe.

This is one of my favourite lip balms.It really is a very basic one, but it's soothing if they are a little sore, and it really does put moisture back into dry lips.It's PABA free, and has a good sun block in it so it's great during summer time, but definately in winter when your lips might be dryer, it's a big help.It goes on smoothly and doesn't clump up which is great.The one thing I can't understand, is why it's so hard to find in drugstores because it's not discontinued, but just not in big supply.Give it a go if you've been allergic to other brands or if you find other brands too heavy.This is so good and does a fantastic job.I really love this one.

This is the only lip balm I've ever found that actually has no smell or flavor whatsoever.Even the "unscented" lip balms usually taste like coconut, or vanilla, or other random things.It's very annoying.This one has no scent, it is wonderful.It works as well as any other chapstick.

Let me start by saying, this is the best chapstick I've ever used. Hands down. No questions asked. This stuff rocks!
It applies very easily and smoothly. Unlike some others, it's not too thick, but also not too slimy. There is absolutely NO smell or taste, which is preferred by me. I used to apply chapstick about every 45 minutes, but this stuff keeps me covered for hours. It healed my chapped, sunburned lips in about 3 days and has kept them healthy for weeks. No more dry, cracked, chapped lips. The only bad thing is it seems to have a lower melting point than some of the more common chapsticks. It's never completely liquified on me, but if I leave it in the sun, or take it with me on a run it starts to get kinda squishy.

I am not sure that I would order this product again.I have only been using it for a week, so I have not seen any results yet.It appears as if my product had the expiration date scratched off and the tube had been handled before (tube was bent).Hopefully I did not lack too much wisdom by using it anyway.I will follow-up in a month with any results that I may/may not see.
iS Clinical SPF 25 Treatment Sunscreen
This sunscreen moisturizes without being overly greasy and it has a decent SPF.I would prefer if it was SPF 30, but this is as close as it comes to everything that I want in a sunscreen. My pores get clogged easily and this product doesn't cause any acne for me.It also doesn't have any of the hazardous ingredients that the Environmental Working Group lists as potentially harmful in sunscreens.This is my second tube and I haven't had any issues with sunburn on my face even though I have spent several hours at a time in the sun.
It rubs in easily
It's light
Not greasy
It feels like it hydrates the skin as well. I even use it under makeup.

I received a generous sample of this sunscreen from my local med spa.It goes on smoothly and adds just enough moisture to my dry skin to feel wonderful.I am actually in love with it in terms of the way it feels when I put it on.However, after doing research on sunscreens, I am unsure whether the level of protection is enough.It has octinoxate and zinc oxide in it but both percentages are rather low.According to what I have been reading on the Internet, the coverage is probably not enough if you want a great coverage level.My Shiseido Sun Protection Lotion, which I love, but is not really a day cream and I need to use additional moisturizers with, contains 7.4% octinoxate and 16.3% zinc oxide while the IS Clinical product has 4.45% octinoxate and 2.94% zinc oxide.From what I have been reading, the less than 3% zinc oxide is not really a desirable level if you want full UVA and UVB protection on your face every day.Since I live in a sunny climate, that is what I want.If anyone has any alternative information to show I am wrong, please let me know, because I do really like this sunscreen.In the meantime, I will continue with my Shiseido sunscreen which I highly recommend.
