California Baby SPF 30 Plus Sunscreen No Fragrance -- 6 fl oz

We've been using this sunscreen since last summer when I found it listed as one of the 30 approved sunscreens on the EWG's list.I was thrilled when I found that Amazon offered it in a 6 ounce tube as I had been buying the 2.9ounce tubes for some time.With two kids (2 and 4) who need to be coated in sunscreen from nose to toes everyday before they go to preschool, I was glad to find a fragrance-free sunscreen that didn't contain concerning chemicals.It goes on white but will fade out as it gets rubbed in and as it dries.I'll be back to buy more soon!

Honestly, it kills me every time I have to reorder this for my two kids. The price is outrageous. BUT...both my kids have eczema and I am a mom worried about chemicals that would sit on their skin every day for the entire summer. My kids go to daycare and have sunscreen applied twice a day. That's three months of twice daily application of something that I would like to think isn't hurting them. This sunscreen has a good rating from the Environmental Working Group as having less toxins. My son had terrible eczema as a toddler (its milder now). He would have skin breakage on his wrists, inner elbows and inner knees to the point where he was treated with antibiotics several times. This sunscreen NEVER exacerbated his condition. For that, it was worth its weight in gold. My daughter had less sensitive skin so that was less of an issue, but she like my son is very fair. This sunblock has prevented both from getting even the faintest of tans, despite being outside hours each day. My only complaint is that it leaves marks on clothing, car seats, car doors, etc. Small price to pay I guess. Overall, great product. Expensive but worth it.

I have a very fair skinned child with a family history of melanoma.We LOVE this sun block! It is goes on really thick, which can be a challenge, but it stays on a long time even in the water.Our pediatrician compliments us on keeping our daughter out of the sun at each yearly check-up.However, she plays in the sun for hours on most days.We sun block her up with CA Baby in the morning before she heads outside.Unless she swim, I don't usually have to reapply.

I bought this product for my 6 month old for a vacation in Key West.It worked great, he didn't get any sun and the product didn't cause any rashes or irritation.It is more expensive than other sunscreens but is worth it for a safe natural product.A very small amount goes a long way also.

I was leary of a DEET-free mosquito repellant expecting very little. However, the convenient combination of sunblock and bug repellant was attractive enough to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! Took this on a week-long camping trip by lakes, streams and plenty of mosquitoes. My kids found it easy to apply, non-greasy and without a nasty odor. I liked that the aerosol can was not "drippy" (as with some of the others). This worked great to give everyone a quick spray in the AM and throw the can in our packs for later re-application. Also seems to last well, being relatively waterproof. It worked well no sunburns and very few mosquito bites (which were probably a result of human failure to spray). I just wish it was a little cheaper to buy I'm going to stock up!

First I'm a man's man, just ask my wife, but as I get older it became obvious that to retain my looks I was going to have to put some additional time into my daily grooming routine. I decided to try this product to see how it compares to male orientated products that advertise similar results for men. Other than the obvious feminine smell that the product has, I found this product to very effective at softening the appearance of deep wrinkles. While I was never a sun worshiper, I do get my fare share of exposure to the sun when doing a lot of DIY stuff around the house. While the product says use in the day I decided that it was best to use this at night just before bed, because it did cause some redness and shininess on my face. I resolve this by using it at night and using a moisturizer with an SPF 30 rating inthe day. Problem solved. So I would recommend the night formula over the day formula. I'm a guy, which means I like things to be simple and to the point and using this product is just that. I like this product and will keep using it until a male equivalent appears on the market, hint, hint L'Oreal.

Just a note, no one product will solve all your skin problems, so keep in mind that I do use other products like facial scrubs, facial wash, microdermabrasion and as I mentioned a moisturizer to help with the process. Not all at once of course. The point is that this product can only do so much, so keep your expectations realistic. If you use this product correctly you will see positive results.

I used this and the night formula on my forehead exactly as the directions specify . . . no change whatsoever after 12 weeks.It was applied to clean skin as instructed, faithfully *every* day, but my forehead lines look just the same.For comparison information, I'm in my mid-50s, fair-skinned with very minimal sun damage (a dermatologist commented on that fact when I consulted him for another issue).I get plenty of sleep, stay well-hydrated, avoid sun exposure, etc.--all the things one should do to protect her complexion.I also don't have excessively-deep forehead lines, but, hey . . . at 55, unless you've managed not to smile or frown your entire life, you're going to have some!

All in all, I found this cream to have no value.Fortunately, I bought it and the night formula in a BOGO offer, so I was only out half the price of the pair.On the plus side, I guess I'll say it didn't do any damage . . . .

NO-AD Water Resistant Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 85 16 fl oz (475 ml)

So far this sunblock is the best my whole family has ever tried. We always have to use the highest protection available, because my children love to spend a lot of time playing with the sand or in water when at the beach, plus we need good protection for our swimming practice. We have tried the 45 or 50 SPF(Coopertone or any other) specifically for children, but have found that 70 SPF (Hawaian Tropic) is much better. We were using this last one until we found No-Ad Sunblock 85 SPF, which is the best. After heavy swimming practice, under our blazing tropical sun (we live in the Dominican Republic), we will just have a light tone to our skins, mild and good looking.

Recently, and following a friend's advise, we all tried for our swimming practice a sunscreen 100 SPF (Banana Boat)... It was only once, and that was enough to know that we won't be using anything else again, if it is not No-Ad Sunblock SPF 85. We will change only if a better protection from No-Ad comes forward! That sunscreen 100 SPF, I compare it to the protection offered by the sunscreens 45 or 50 SPF, because I find that it protects in similar way.

No-Ad SPF 85 comes in lotion, creamy, but not heavy like other high protection sunscreens. This scream slides smooth and easily on our skins and smells pleasantly. Some of us in the family have very sensitive skin, always in the need of special soaps and anti-allergy creams, but this sun block has never developed any adverse reaction on our skins.

Another plus for this sun screen is that it has great value, and a very convenient size!

I recommend this product. We, my children and I, have fair skin, which needs to be protected carefully if frequently under the sun. We have found in No Ad 85 SPF a great help.

First time out fishing we went with some weak 25 spf, skin so soft I think. Burned so bad it took a month to stop peeling, both me and my girlfriend. Got this stuff. No burns at all in 100 degree sunshine.

Olay Total Effects Revitalizing Foaming Cleanser 6.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

I like this cleanser because it's non-drying as many foaming cleansers tend to be...and I had to stop using multiple OTC cleansers after a few days for that reason.

I'm really glad that there is an official provider of Gowoonsesang products on Amazon. Sometimes when you buy Korean beauty products on ebay, you worry that the price is low because the products are almost expired or something. After my Dr. G bb cream from Amazon arrived in the mail, I was pleased to find that the expiration date was 2014. There are many cheap bb cream alternatives ($10-$15) with decent blemish coverage and SPF protection. However, I choose to use Dr. G's bb cream because they use high quality ingredients. They are advertised as having a highly experienced team of doctors and dermatologists that have tested this product. I like that they have lipophilic and hydrophilic ingredients to help your skin retain moisture from both inside and outside.

I highly recommend bb creams to anyone with fair or medium skin tones. I'm really lazy, so I can't be bothered to put on makeup every day. Also, I'm NOT a fan of heavy, cakey makeup. However, I have some acne and some fading acne scars, so I need some basic coverage. Therefore, I just put on some hydrating toner or oil free moisturizer/sunblock, and bb cream. I don't really like using foundation because it's streaky and hard to find the perfect match. I don't really like using compact powder because it's, well, powdery. Therefore, bb creams are the perfect solution.

Dr. G bb cream has medium coverage. It completely covers all of my redness, acne, and acne scars. It won't give as much thick, heavy coverage as foundation, though. Therefore, after a couple hours, if you're oily/sweaty, you will have to reapply the bb cream. The texture is like a thick, creamy liquid and it's lightly scented. It has a matte finish, but it's also creamy and moisturizing, so it's kind of dewy. It's not shiny at all though. Neither is it "powdery." It's hard to explain. It's just perfect. If you have medium skin with yellow tones, it WILL make your face look PALER. It also eliminates yellow tones. So if you put too much, you may look pasty or ghostly. If you are one of those Asians with white skin, it will probably blend in perfectly. I have light or light-to-medium skin, with a yellow undertone. Dr. G bb cream does make my face look whiter. However, I don't think it's too noticeable. Also, when it oxidizes it becomes darker and blends in. Many people mix their bb cream with another bb cream or foundation. I may try this, like mix one pump of Dr. G bb cream and one pump of yellowish foundation on my hand and apply. I don't think I would recommend Dr. G bb cream to people with medium/dark skin. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. I like the finish and the coverage. However, I'm only giving it 4 stars because it can make your face look pale.

BB creams generally have ingredients that help heal/fade scarring. I don't know if the Dr. G bb cream has those ingredients though. If you know which ingredients help heal scarring, you can check the list of ingredients in Dr. G's bb cream to see if it has any of them.

I really really like this cream.I dislike putting on foundation as it clogs the pores and leave my skin feeling oily after 2 hours.However, with Dr G BB cream, it lasted the whole day and not oily at all.My face looks radiant too. I have tried Étude House, Dr. Jart, Maybelline, Holika Holika, and a couple other bb cream brands. They all left me with devastating break-outs; deep, giant zits in the nose and chin area. I decided to try this bb cream after having huge success with Gowoonsesang's other products (namely the super aquasis line and perfect cleansing oil). LOVE IT. I have been wearing it for almost a month now and it has actually healed my acne and brightened my skin tone! My only complaint is that the color is exactly 1 shade darker than my face (I am very, very fair). I just got this in the mail yesterday and I happily put it on this morning (around 7:30am) before going to work.It is now almost 3pm and it's still going strong!I basically replaced this BB cream with my regular foundation, and put on powder and blush.The coverage of this BB cream is great (slightly less coverage than my foundation, as expected), and it's very smooth and easy to put on.Usually by the middle of the day, my face gets pretty dry and anything I put on after will look cakey, unless I add another layer of moisturizer.I just added a tiny bit on my nose and forehead right now and it stays on just fine.

This has SPF 30, which is way more than what my foundation gives me!It will definitely be my go-to for this spring/summer!

CosMedix Serious Protection SPF 28 3.3 Ounce.

I have used this product for about 2 years now which it protects my skin very well.It is true that the product is very thick, and it has a tendency to turn my skin a whitish color. I learned that just applying a little bit onto my skin, rub, and then blot.After doing this, my skin looks perfect.

This product has a warning that it may be irritating to your skin. However, I felt/hoped the irritation would be temporary and once my skin acclimated to the product it would be fine. However that was not the case sadly and I really had high hopes for this product and this brand. I have tried other products from this company and unfortunately my skin doesn't like their products as well as some others :(

Anyway, this sunscreen does go on nicely and it is conditioning to my skin (it has a thick consistency). Even better it didn't leave a white cast on my skin.I really wanted to like and keep this sunscreen....but my search continues. Can anyone recommend a sunscreen that has mineral ingredients (zinc oxide / titanium dioxide) without any of the chemical ingredients?? Hawaii Maui Island Secret Burn To Brown Formula 8 oz.

I am allergic to regular sunscreen, it causes a horrible burning sensation and redness to my skin, so I was very glad to find Solar Sense. I have several large tattoos and I use it especially for them every day, as Zinc products are the best to slow deterioration of ink due to sun exposure. It does have a slight white tint to it, but I don't mind that, it's not bad enough to make me not wear it.

My expectations may have been too high.I was expecting zinc to provide a total block, better than the chemical sunblocks (most of them).This one is labeled "clear zinc", but initially it is white it's very thick and concentrated, and you use very little.When you rub it in, the whiteness gradually disappears.I primarily wanted it for my nose, which always gets too much sun, to keep the redness in check.It definitely keeps me from burning, but it doesn't totally keep my nose from getting red.I'm not convinced that it works better than the other high-end sun lotions that I've used, which were chemical blocks, not physical blocks such as this.It is good for sensitive skin, but it's too thick to easily use it for your whole body practically speaking, it's probably better for your face.It's good to have in your sun-arsenal, but don't throw out the rest.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Smoothing Stick Treatment Concealer, 0.10 Ounce

I've used several brands of concealers, and the most happy with this one. Other brands either gave great coverage, but would be too thick and dry or had too much moisture and sheer once applied. Plus you'd have to wait for it to dry before applying any other make up. I've been using this brand for over a year now, and love that it doesn't cake up on your skin. It has a enough moisture to apply and dabble on your problems areas, but not to the point where it's too sheer. The medium tone must be popular since I'm rarely able to find it in drug stores so thanks for having it here!!

I've tried many concealers over the years because I have dry flaky skin sometimes from occasional bouts of dermatitis. The skin can appear red and flaky around the eyebrows, forehead line and nose crease. Anyways this product does two things perfectly better than the rest. first it conceals the red dry embarrassing parts and second moisturizers them without drying or cracking during the day or night.

Also, it applies perfectly even and smooth with absolute ease will not cake up.

Just an awesome product.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried this!

I've used plenty of 'okay' concealers that tried and missed the mark. But I really like this one for a low-budget fix.

The pluses? It's very creamy, which makes it great for blending well. Because it blends so well, it matches my skin tone, which is pale, fairly well. The packaging is great for a drugstore-range product, and I actually really love that it comes in stick form-which means it's great for on the go.

My only gripe with this concealer is that I wish it had a little bit more pigmentation, especially to cover blemishes. I would say that it has medium coverage.

I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a quick, creamy, no fuss fix!

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock Body Mist, 5 Ounces (Pack of 2)

I really liked this product. It sprayed on easily, I didn't have to rub it in, it didn't feel greasy, it didn't smell unpleasant, but most of all I got thru over 3 hours in the Spring Florida sun and got zero tan. Usually one hour unprotected will give me redness, so going three hours with almost no redness was impressive. The only area I applied twice was the tops of my pale white feet which I didn't want to gamble on getting sunburned.

I didn't notice any staining to anything I wore or furniture I sat on, and except for a very slight filmy feeling, really didn't know it was on after the initial wetness subsided. I sprayed it onto a paper towel and patted it on my face, ears and neck and that worked out fine. I debated getting a higher SPF rating, but I'd read that more was overkill and didn't want to risk any possible skin sensitivity.

I'll certainly buy this again for my next trip to Florida.

I purchased this lotion because I wanted an SPF moisturizer (to prevent oxidative damage) that was oil free (I'm prone to oily skin and breakouts) and fragrance free.Fragrances tend to irritate my skin.I have been using this product regularly for about a month and have noticed that the my skin is more elastic and youthful looking.In addition, the product also seems to have helped even out blotchy spots from sun damage!I use this after my Proactiv regimen and the combination seems just right for my skin...Not too dry, not too oily, but juuuuust right!The only downside is the price, but it's being sold through Sephora so that's to be expected.But since it works, I have no complaints and will probably re-order.

This lotion is by far the best I have used. Oil free and really makes my skin look great. No smell. I have tried others that are similar but not quite the same... You will be happy with this product.

I recently was diagnosed with skin cancer on my lip and had to have it removed.Having this unpleasant experience, I decided to look for zinc oxide for facial sunblocking.This was about the only product I found and it is great!
